Peerless Cleaners ruined my cushion cover and refused to take responsibility for their work saying that all of their customers have signed releases. When I asked to see this fictitious release, the manager told me that they don't maintain copies on file! They returned a shrunken cushion cover with brown spots all over it and brown and red discolorations on the piping. Beware! Do not go here! I chose to try this place for the first time because of the location and highly regret it! I took an item in to get cleaned and told them to please follow the care instructions and they said no problem. However, I go in a few days later to pick it up and immediately notice the item is completely ruined beyond repair. After asking what happened, they tell me it's not damaged and to call the manager Casey, but after many attempts over the next several weeks, I never heard back in regard to this matter. This item was very sentimental to me and it's unfortunate to know that I took it in to get "professionally" cleaned, only to get it back in this condition and not be offered any resolution or compensation from the business that did it. You're better off going to Bobby Pages who have dealt with this same item over the past 10 years with no problems and provided much better customer service and professionalism! read more

We're very happy with peerless in S.Reno. We typically use them for heavy blankets, comforters that won't fit in my washer or dryer. Most recently they washed,dried and ironed a duvet and pillow covers. It was just beautiful. Plus they deliver the items to my trunk. Recently learned they pickup and deliver to the house. Not sure why this location isn't getting any love on Yelp BUT my experience with Peerless has been great so far! After doing business with Bobby Pages for 20+ years and realizing they double the price on designer brands (still angry I missed it for so long) I decided to give Peerless a try. Peerless delivered the dry cleaned items right to my front door. They came out perfect. I had a few stains on one of the shirts that I mentioned at drop off and they got those out perfectly. They gave me a bag for future pick-ups and told me anytime I need a pick-up just text this number and we will swing by and pick-up from your house at NO charge. I would recommend to others for sure! I have been a loyal customer for better than 10 yrs. and terribly disappointed with Peerless Cleaners after they lost a brand new pair of jeans. Having filed a claim last year in August of 2023. Peerless has been unresponsive to my claim. I have discussed this matter with several representatives and to no avail. Not even a phone call to say they are working on it. My husband dropped off three NEW dress shirts (2 had minor coffee spots). When he picked up ALL the shirts still had stains and one even had a new green stain on back. I took in a new shirt to be pressed, they put a big mark on the sleeve. Took them 3 times to clean/get the spot out then wanted me to pay for the cleaning! they finally agreed to only have me pay for it to be pressed but no apologies for almost ruining a brand new shirt, all the times I had to go back to find it dirty and the manager was very rude on the phone. I will not be returning. First the positives - very conveniently located in midtown. Also, the ladies who work the desk are very nice. Negatives - Im not sure because I rarely dry clean so this may be average...but it seemed expensive to me. It was $16 for two items. Secondly - both items are now worse. I had a small spot on my coat that has now spread and my sweater is now ripped. I am 110% sure my sweater was completely intact before I dropped it off. I could've have saved money and my expensive sweater by buying an at home dry clean kit. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

My wedding dress turned out great after having it pressed. I would say one thing I was not happy about and for future reference, my wedding dress was provided to Peerless Cleaners in the zip up and white bag from the place I bought it from. When I got it back it was in a see through plastic blue bag. I get that it maintains its shape that way. But I was upset that the bag I had for it originally was thrown away. Make sure you let them know or take the bag off prior. Very upsetting. Wedding dresses aren't cheap and to repay for another wedding dress bag is not okay. read more

Horrible dry cleaners, today picked up husbands dress suit jacket did not stay on hanger. Fell off got dirty as soon as took out of car to take in. Not buttoned. If not secure or slippery fabric lining and don't stay on hanger at least give long enough bag to tie at bottom. So mad and frustrated. We are going to funeral so didn't have time to go back in to fix. I don't know why my husband takes it here. They have misplaced the suit pants before and it took them a good month to find them. I would have thought they would at least compensate for at least one free dry clean of suit after that. Apparently this place does read reviews cause they don't care to reply, just don't care period. Disappointed to find the cleaners doors locked for the evening 5 minutes before the store's 7:00pm posted closing time. To make the situation feel even worse, the employees were still in the store. Took over 6 weeks to have my dress cleaned and preserved, not because that's how long it takes, but because they messed up the process twice. First attempt to pick it up it was discovered it was tagged incorrectly when dropped off, delaying processing by two weeks. I came back at the time I was told but the dress wasn't there...and I was advised the manager needed to call me. I didn't hear back from the manager so I began to freak out, it's been a month, have they lost my precious wedding dress?? When calling the manager is not available. The manager also fails at calling when promised. Finally after another week the dress showed up. The useless counter attendants was "not able" to honor a discount but said the manager would call to work things out. As expected, never heard from them again. I will never return or recommend Peerless Cleaners TLDR; Unresponsive, mass delays, and then charged full price. read more

On January 21, 2019, I dropped 2 pcs. clothes for dry cleaning. I was given a receipt listing the amount $15.00 due at the time of pickup. Then on January 25, 2019 during the pickup of my 2 pcs. clothes, I handed over my original receipt of $15.00 and my Credit Card to the attending clerk (Leticia), whereas she charged me $26.30. That time, I asked her why I was charged more than the original quoted amount of $15.00. Then she called and spoke to her Manager (Maria) and confirmed that her manager will give me the refund of $11.30 tomorrow morning; and the clerk (Leticia) also provided me a written acknowledgment. Next morning (January 26, 2019), I went to the store and the Manager (Maria) refused to give me the refund. I will not return to this location anymore because the staff are unprofessional and unethical. read more

I will never go back. They cleaned a sweater and it somehow left a vertical chemical -looking line along the entire front of the sweater. I took it back (unworn of course) to be redone they apologized and acknowledged it was a dry cleaning error. They lost my sweater. For the past two months I have been trying to get a resolution. I visit the store every other week hoping to get an answer, but they keep putting me off. The manager, Maria, makes empty promises that she will update me on the status. She even told me two weeks ago that the owner would reimburse me for my sweater and the dry cleaning costs (I prepaid for this item). I have yet to receive compensation for my lost sweater or a reimbursement for the drying cleaning. I am beyond frustrated! I do NOT recommend this dry cleaner. First, I was upset that they lost my sweater, but I am even more disappointed in their lack of customer service, unwillingness to apologize for their mistake and lack of follow through on compensating me for the sweater. read more

Wow, this place is amazing! My husband was going out of town Monday and forgot to pick up his needed cleaning the Saturday before. He was very upset. I went online and emailed Peerless, not really expecting to get a reply. The owner, Norm, called me Sunday (on a day they are closed!) and offered to meet me there. Wow! As if that weren't enough, when I got there I locked my keys in my car. Norm offered to stay with me until the locksmith got there. He was so sweet! I'll never use another dry cleaner. Went to the cleaners today, November 26, 2016 and went to pick up my two pairs of pants. I gave the cashier a $20 bill and she gave me $.50 cents back for change. I questioned that I thought there was a mistake. I have always paid $5 to $6 a pair. She said that the amount was correct and that is was $19.50 for 2 pairs. I then asked for a receipt and she said they do not give receipts for cash transactions.She then wrote me a handwritten receipt but for the incorrect amount. She then asked me if I had picked up a pair of pants from May, 2016. I told her that was the second time that I had been asked that. Her comment was, "Well, it shows that you did not pay for them". I said how can you give me my dry cleaning without me paying for them. She did not have an answer. If my dry cleaning had been sitting there for 6 months, why would no one call me.
