I went to Royal Cleaners to get my down winter coat dry cleaned. They offered to clean my coat for $16 which was the cheapest quote I received after calling 4 places that couldn't have my coat ready for 4+ days. Royal Cleaners had my coat ready in 2 days. When I picked up my coat, I noticed there was a big stain that I didn't notice when I brought it in. I called and asked them about the stain and they said it was really tricky to remove but they offered to work on it. They worked on getting the stain out for a week- they said they had to put it through the dry cleaner 8 different times! After being a loyal customer for the past few years, they lost my shirt as it was given to another customer. I understand this was a mistake but the reason for my negative review is the fact that they did not offer a solution for their mistake and they did not even return my call as I was promised. I was never offered a reimbursement for the cleaning service I paid for nor was I offered to be compensated for the shirt they lost. I made the drive across town to Royal Cleaners even though I had many dry cleaners closer to me, because Royal Cleaners had the best reviews online. One of the dresses I brought in was expensive, and I only wear it for special occasions. I came to pick up my clothes a week after dropping them off, and the owner asked if my special dress was torn when I brought it in. I confirmed that it was not torn before it was cleaned, so I asked what could be done, since I had an event I wanted to wear it for in about a week and a half. The female owner told me that her seamstress was out on her honeymoon, but that she would be back the next day, and that she would call me with an update on my dress, at the latest, the following Wednesday. I didn't heard anything so I called on Wednesday. The phone didn't ring, but went straight to voicemail. I left a message asking for an update. I didn't get a call back, so I tried again on Friday. Once again it went straight to voicemail, and I left another message, voicing concern that I hadn't heard back, and asking for them to please call me with an update. I never got a call back, so I drove all the way there the following Wednesday to check on my dress. When I arrived the owner said she had been out sick, and that her husband "Is horrible at calling people back". She didn't seem concerned at all that I had to drive there to find out the status of my dress. Thankfully the dress had been fixed, so I was able to take it home. Bottom line: If you want to be able to get a hold of your dry cleaners by phone, don't go here. If you want them to clean something that you need by a certain date, don't count on it. You also won't be getting any updates if the female owner is out sick. (I gave them 1 star because they did a good job cleaning the other garments I brought in) read more

They said I could pick up my pants a they said I could pick up my pants After 4 PM. When I went to get my pants they had closed early so nobody was there for me to pick up my pants. Ok part two of my alterations disaster, after my previous incident an another dry cleaners I looked up places with 5 stars and decided to come here. I took 3 suit jackets to get altered, i needed my sleeves shortened. I was told my things would be done Friday by 4PM because they always press their items before giving them back, i was cool with that and told them I would be there Saturday morning at 8 am when they opened and the girl said sounds good. Well Saturday comes around and I specifically wake up early to come here because its quite a distance from my house and i had to be at work at 9am. I get here exactly at 8 am nobody is there, I try to pull the doors open and they are closed, i call no answer. Finally I give up leave and go to work, call back a few hours later and the girl tells me she was late because she had forgotten her keys, I was a bit frustrated but I was like whatever i guess ill have to pick them up Monday. Monday comes I pick up my jackets and drop them off at home and went out of town so I didn't get a change to try anything on, finally I get back at the end of the week and try my jackets on, I was horrified, all 3 of my jackets had the left sleeve 1 1/2 of an inch shorter than the right sleeve, one of my jackets was so bad that the sleeve cuff wasn't straight instead it was lopsided so depending on what part of the sleeve you were looking at it was uneven. I called them and the girl got very defensive and told me to take my stuff down and they would fix my sleeves because they hem the material back so they could redo it. I decided against doing such thing because at this point i dont trust them. Part 3 of my suit jacket trilogy is coming up so stay tuned. read more
