Amazing service with the best prices! I love that they text you when your order is complete

NEED ALTERATIONS? This is the place you want to bring your 'special' clothes.' My uncle passed and I only kept one suit that I wore at LVJC during my 15 year career there. Being a 'senior citizen' now, I lost inches and needed the skirt taken in for his celebration of life in California. Maria helped me and the alterations lady pinned the skirt to shrink it down. The dry cleaning and pressing are great and the price for dry cleaning and the price for alterations are extremely affordable. I live in Cold Springs and it's worth the drive! read more

Canyon Cleaners - My suit from 2000 just cleaned and skirt taken in (alterations) for uncle's celebration of life. - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Reno, Nevada

I had three suits that I hadn't worn in quite a while and was needing one of them for a wedding. The lady at the counter was very courteous and gave me an expected time for the suits to be done. I got a text the expected day that my suits were ready for pickup. When I went in she had an envelope attached to one of the suits and she said there must have been something left in the pockets. When I looked in the envelope out in my truck, there was an old airline luggage claim ticket and 3 $1 bills! Must say they are honest there. It cost $49.50 for the three suits. I'll go back there if I ever need something else cleaned. read more

Came here to get my son's rotc uniform for school dry cleaned. Upon entering it looks like your typical dry cleaners, nothing fancy by any means which was fine bc they had terrific customer service. I was greeted right away by a friendly smile, she took the uniform and told me it would be clean in a couple days and I could pick it up at my convenience. Then handed me a ticket receipt. Super quick and easy. On the third day I received a text that my clothes were ready for pickup. The price was fair. Same great customer service at pickup:) read more

The dry cleaners closest to my house closed and I have Yelp to thank for helping me find this one! When I walked in, I was greeted warmly by a lady working there. I dropped off two sweaters with her, she input my phone number in her computer, and then she handed me a printout with my order number. I told her there was no hurry to get the sweaters cleaned but she said it didn't matter, they would be done in the next day or two. Sure enough, I received a text the very next day saying my order was ready for pickup! Very efficient and professional! My sweaters look great and the cost was what I expected. read more

I am so happy with these guys. I had an emergency press job, and they had it done within a couple of hours. the staff is wonderful, friendly and very helpful in answering my questions i had. And prices are great!!! everything is done on property My NEW go to cleaners.... read more

I brought in my military uniform for drycleaning. I was told they only give uniform discounts for law enforcement uniforms. It is sad to see that the owner doesn't care about the men and women that defend the country the same way they care about someone serving the local community. Additionally, they double creased my permanent-press trousers, so now I have a permanent second line running through them and am forced to replace them. read more

I can't speak to their drycleaning services, but their alteration services are outrageously over-priced. I took a skirt in to be hemmed; they don't give estimates, but when I went to pick it up, they wanted $40!!! The skirt only cost $30 new. Hemming is one of the easiest alterations for perform. This is highway robbery. I told them to keep the skirt. read more

This is the best cleaners and great priced. They took numerous moth holes out of a cashmere sweater. I really can't see where they were. My favorite sweater fixed. Love you folks! read more

I found myself in a tight timeline for my wedding dress and my fiancé's suit for our upcoming wedding. Everyone at Canyon Cleaners was so friendly and accommodating, they really put my mind at ease! Everything looks great and I'm so thankful I didn't need to stress! Thank you!!! read more

I've used Canyon Cleaners twice so far and they are EXCELLENT! They have a few day turn around and their prices are very reasonable. They send a text when it's ready and you just swing by and pick up. They are also incredible stain lifting masters. My husband had some tan pants that were pretty stained, so we brought in and they somehow got them looking almost new! I wish I'd taken a before and after pic because they looked amazing, but you'll just have to take my word for it! They also got the stench of smoke out of one of my dresses! I highly recommend them for any of your dry cleaning needs! read more

Outstanding service! Very friendly, good rates and quality work. The turnaround on 3 full suits, overcoat, vests and misc pants was around $100 in 2 days. read more

I found Canyon Cleaners after my regular, for years cleaners closed. I've found them to be really terrific, not only for cleaning clothes but making repairs to clothing and zippers. With cleaning, mine is always done before they say it will be. They repaired a rip in a favorite pair of jeans with hardly a seam noticeable. I had a winter coat which suddenly wouldn't zip up properly and they fixed it quickly and economically. All this plus Maria always has a smile and kind word for you. This place is a great find! read more

Quick and great service. I originally went to Bobby Page's and the price was higher and the wait was 3 times longer. Dropped off a queen comforter and it was done quickly, smells lovely and price was right. I will be coming back for all our dry cleaning! I wish I would've gotten the wonderful woman's name who helped me. I'm sure we will get to know each other as time goes on. Very happy overall. read more

Uniform and pants hemming done for good price. Like text messages when ready for pick up

This is easily the best--and cheapest--cleaner in Northwest Reno. The customer service is great--they are always friendly and accomodating. I often need stuff turned around quickly, as in next day, and they have always accomodated me, no matter how big the order I have is. And things are always done right, with any stains removed and the items neatly pressed. On several occasions they have repaired a missing button without even charging me. Excellent. Super friendly staff too. The prices here are much lower than the other two big cleaners in this neck of the woods (the independent shop in the Safeway Plaza, which charges extra for next day service and Bobby Page, which doesn't do that (or at least hasn't in the past) because they send stuff away rather than handling the cleaning on site). Also, I've never had items damages or gotten something back with a "this stain can't be removed" tag, frequent events when I used Bobby Page. read more

I love this place! The ladies are super nice, Maria is such a nice lady and my dry Cleaning is always perfect. I used to only take my work stuff but now I take all my shirts too because they just look amazing. Definitely recommend! read more

Don't use this cleaner. They lost my husbands nice works shirts shirts and claimed they never had them. They found the suites they claimed they didn't have at first but never found the shirts. The lady was very rude saying they had nothing for us. They got a new system and lost track of items. Would not do anything about it. read more

The first time I had my dry cleaning done here a couple of years ago, they ruined a pair of khaki slacks by accident. The manager said they accidentally got some bleach on my pants. They reimbursed me in full for a new pair. I gave them another chance, and they were OK for many years. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, and the incident happened again. Except this time, they will not reimburse me for the damage, and claim they do not use any bleach in their dry cleaning (contrary to what they said happened..the first time). They claim the issue is with a defect in the pants, even though...I had already brought these same pants there before for dry cleaning, and they came out fine. I'll be going elsewhere. - For long sleeve dress shirts, they only button the top button before putting it in the plastic bag. This causes creases to form on the shirt when it sits in your closet in the bag, so you have to iron it again. Other dry cleaners don't do this. - Other dry cleaners have automated text messages that let you know when you dry cleaning is ready for pick up. Other dry cleaners also have a website/app where you can see your order, pay online, see status, set your preferences for your laundry, etc. Canyon doesn't have any of that. - Their equipment breaks down often. There were many instances where I had to come back to get my dry cleaning done because their equipment was broken, or they couldn't accept cards for payment, etc. read more

Took two shirts to be dry cleaned. Both came back two inches shorter than when I dropped them off. I have three of the exact same shirts different colors that all fit the same. Now two are small enough to fit my teenage daughter. So you might want to think about taking them across the streets unless of course you plan on shrinking a couple of inches. Absolute waist of money . The shirts are not even wearable at this point read more

I very rarely go to the cleaners so I don't have much of a reference. However, I have some everyday work slacks that I somehow got tree sap on and took the pants here to get cleaned. They were able to get all of the sap out. Turn around time was just a few days and the price was way less expensive than I thought it would be. I would recommend again and bring other special care items to this shop. read more

Great job on cleaning a comforter for me! Reasonable price, friendly staff; I can recommend you visit. The location is convenient and the turn-around time on my comforter was quick. read more

I have been using this place for my alterations so I didn't think twice about having them alter a scarf I bought. It was an "infinity" scarf and I just wanted it cut and hemmed. I paid $10 for the scarf. I go to pick it up and they charged me $20. Really? They don't even charge that for hemming a pair of jeans, which has to be much more labor intensive. I felt taken advantage of and I feel the price was DOUBLE what it should've been. I won't be going back. There are plenty of places to go that will value my business more. read more

Used to live in NW Reno and would take clothes here because it was close. Now living in South Reno I still go here...we tried a bunch of different places closer to home but for price and reliability we just couldn't find anything comparable. Keep up the great job!! read more

This company is the biggest little secret in northwest Reno. I work in south Reno and all of the dry cleaners I can find in that area charge about $4-$6 per shirt. The turn around time to get my clothes back is around 4 days. Canyon charges about $2 per shirt and they get it done in 2 days, or the next day if I request it. It's the best price and service I have found anywhere in Reno by far. My shirts and slacks come back looking great and they're always friendly. read more

Price seemed a bit high for basic dry cleaning of some ties but they did a good job. They are quick and friendly.

Great place! I dropped off 5 shirts in the morning and asked for them that same afternoon. She looked at me with wide eyes for a second then said, "ok!" I haven't used dry cleaning before so I didn't realize that it usually takes a couple of days. I went back at 430 and they weren't quite ready yet. So she asked me to wait and she finished them in a few minutes. I couldn't be happier. They will have my business from now on! read more

I have an extensive collection of professional dresses, but I'd been putting off getting my dry cleaning done for a while. When it got critical, I browsed Yelp for a suggestion in my area and read the good reviews for Canyon Cleaners. I'm happy to enthusiastically co-sign the other 5-star reviews. When I dropped off 16 dresses for dry cleaning on Saturday, I was told I could have them as early as Monday! I was also told that they charge $10-15 dollars for dresses depending on how complicated they are (pleats, beading, etc). I didn't need anything turned around super fast, so when I came to pick them up a few days later, my bill came to a very reasonable $160 even though I did have some pleated dresses. All my dresses look great! Definitely recommend this place and I will be going back for all of my dry cleaning needs! read more

Had a great experience here. John(I think was his name) was very nice and helpful. They're prices are very reasonable, it only cost me about 24 bucks for two suits to be cleaned. I am very glad I found this place on yelp and will definitely go back. Highly recommend!!! read more

I love this place!! It's always a joy to go to Canyon Cleaners. Not only do my evening gowns, business jackets and husband's work get cleaned and taken care of, the service is the best in town!
