When I arrived to pick up the dress, only the hem had been done properly. I was then told the remaining fixes would "take 10 minutes." Thirty minutes later, they had only adjusted the slit and the wiring was STILL in the dress. At that point, I had already repeated the same request multiple times. When I calmly explained AGAIN that the wire needed to be removed, the woman working began talking over me and arguing with me instead of listening. I am now sitting here waiting even longer for alterations that should have been completed correctly the first time after they had my dress for two full weeks. For the amount of money charged, especially with a rush fee, the communication, attention to detail, and customer service have been incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this business if you need reliable tailoring or time-sensitive work.

I knew the previous owners for they have helped us before when our machines have gone down and we needed to get out customers clothes finished. I brought in a suit and two dresses and it cost $54 ish. Which is a crazy price especially already knowing the prices of products and what everything costs. I picked up my clothes and checked my items and noticed hard creases all over my silk dresses. The pain of being a perfectionist. I called the store to just let them know to pay a little more attention to detail and knowing more about clothes and that these types of dresses are just supposed to be steam pressed without any creases and they don't pick up their phone. So at this moment I will not be brining my clothes here and will have to find another dry cleaners that actually take pride in owning their store.

When I looked in the envelope out in my truck, there was an old airline luggage claim ticket and 3 $1 bills! Must say they are honest there. It cost $49.50 for the three suits. I'll go back there if I ever need something else cleaned.

A month ago - 4.5 years later - I received a call from Jonathan at JJ's Cleaners stating they still had my clothes and would like to send them to me. First I was a little nervous about the bill as I had 9 items, plus whatever the cost would be to have them shipped to me. Not only was my dry cleaning bill only $55, they paid for the shipping to be sent all the way from Reno to my new location in Charlotte, NC. I always liked these cleaners because they did a good job and they were convenient, but I've never been more impressed with a company. I wish I could continue giving them my business. Jonathan was a pleasure and so kind and not only am I delighted to have my clothes back, it's like I have brand new clothes! Thank you again, Jonathan!

Unfortunately, our recent experience was extremely disappointing & honestly shocking. I brought in a brand-new dress months ago for cleaning. When I recently took it out of the plastic wrapping to wear for the first time, I discovered a large stain that was not there before. I had never worn the dress prior to that moment. When I first called, there was no answer. Carmen later called me back, but after listening to my concern for less than a minute, she interrupted to say she was not working that day, that she was busy, & that she would call me back later. That call never came. On April 20, 2026 at approximately 11:55 AM, my husband & I called her back & had her on a three-way call. As my husband calmly tried to ask why she never followed up or addressed the issue, she immediately became defensive. Without attempting to resolve anything, she abruptly decided that she would no longer accept us as customers after all these years of our loyalty to her business. What makes this even more disappointing is that this isn't the first concerning interaction. On a recent visit, she told my husband that many of his suits were "too old" & that she would no longer clean or press them. We respected her concerns & handled that conversation calmly & maturely. My husband even agreed to replace older suits & continue bringing in newer items. However, when we raised a valid concern about a stain on a brand-new dress, an item that had been left in her possession for months & only returned when the last time my husband & I picked up his clothes she informed him to take it home, we were met with defensiveness & dismissal instead of professionalism. A good business is built on accountability, communication, & respect for its customers. Long-term, loyal clients should not be dismissed out of frustration or sensitivity when raising a legitimate concern. Instead of resolving the issue, the owner chose to react emotionally, refuse responsibility, & end a 25+ year customer relationship. It is also worth noting that services are priced at a premium, yet customers are often pushed toward full dry cleaning rather than simple pressing, increasing the cost significantly. In this case, we paid a high price for a service that resulted in damage & no accountability. As an observation, over the many years we have been customers, there have been no noticeable upgrades to equipment or delivery vehicles. We were also informed that another location had closed. Customers can draw their own conclusions from that regarding how the business has been managed over time. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this cleaners. I dropped off a little girls knee length dress on Monday the 16th. I was told by an older female employee that it would be back in on Wednesday the 18th and I could come pick it up. I went into the cleaners at 2:30 on the 18th and was told by a 2nd female employee it wasnt back yet. She said that the clothes don't come back until 4:30. The first employee neglected to tell me that information and it is not posted anywhere. This meant that I'd have to come back the next day since I had to return to work. I went back on the 20th since I didn't have a chance on the 19th. The dress was back and the 2nd employee was working again. She told me the total came to $16.00!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me? For a little girls knee length dress? I couldnt believe this total. I will admit that I never asked for a quote but I was also never told how much it would be. This dress would have been no more than $5.00 at a multitude of cleaners in Sparks. They don't have any kind of rates posted and it never even occured to me that they would ask so much. I told the 2nd employee I just can't pay that much money and asked her to have the owners call me on Monday when they get in. She said she would leave a note for them. As of yesterday I had not heard from the owners. I called them at 11:30 and spoke to the same (2nd) employee - she said that she will try to call them and call me back. I didnt hear anything back until 4:30 that evening via voicemail and had to call back today (the 25th). She said that the owners are going to split it and we can settle on a price of $8.00. That's fine I told her. Offelia is the name of the 2nd employee. Offelia is the best asset they have. She was great and the only reason I am donig 2 stars instead of 1. She was polite and really tried everything she could to make her customer happy. I will still find another dry cleaner with better communication and better prices.

The service is fast and they do a great job. Only reason I took off one star is b/c the prices are a bit steep, I've never seen coupons and they don't offer a Frequent Customer program or anything. Also, we always bring our hangars back...a small credit or something would be a nice gesture. I think we are used to larger city "amenities" (examples above), however, they are so nice and dependable the pros outweigh the cons. :) Although not their fault, I am often hustled by beggars when I drop off/pick up clothes...it's a gross parking lot.
