Down to 3 stars from 5. I am a regular customer at Launderland. On Monday, I arrived shortly after opening to wash & dry my full week's laundry. I was just getting use to having to watch the boring ROKU programing since the management dropped their cable channels.. I was talking to another regular customer when I noticed there was no programing at all. When I told her I would ask the manager why, she told me to save my breath. She said she was told the regular manager Doug was on vacation & took the ROKU remote with him !!! Is this because we've been complaining about losing regular cable while we're there waiting for our laundry to finish? Is Doug trying to teach us his limited programing is better than nothing? After years of being a customer, does the owner want us to find someplace without such petty management? read more

The laundromat was clean and well maintained. The other patrons seemed to be happy with the operation. Jason, the attendant was friendly and helpful. I recommend this place to anyone in need of doing there laundry. This is a great place for locals. read more

my kids and I have been coming to this laundromat for about six years now The recent employees they've hired are a little short and grumpy. I had walked up with my son and asked if we could get the WiFi, he had said no because people in the past have abused but we are not random people from the street we are customers and have been long-term customers.(6 years) The new employee had gotten mad at me and said he was hired in April (4 month ago) and that was not allowed and if anybody in the past had let him know immediately he he was trying to be aggressive with his words and stern with me so I did not answer his question and told him to have a good day. Don't get me started on the coin situation on asking for coins or using your own coins in the arcade games starting To fill like we need a new laundry mat with previous other events in the past Hopefully, they can start to be kid friendly We know in past they have been. This place used to be so positive and friendly read more

I concur with the Aug 9, 25' complaint_that the new (short +bald) employee is belligerent; perhaps a bit psychotic. I don't use a public laundromat very often but somehow I have been to this one around 10 times. They keep this place really clean, the machines work very well, and it is friendly. The extra value you can get when you put more money on your card makes it a good deal too. read more

Clean and reasonably priced, machines worked well and even got my muddy work clothes clean as new. Be aware they use a card system for everything, the $1 charge to get a card is put onto the card then you add any additional amount you need. The cards work both on washing machines and dryers as well as their vending machines so if you have a little bit left over it makes you come back the next time. A nice business model for them. read more

What I like about this particular laundry place is that there were no sketchy people hanging around or peculiar patrons. Its location dictates that you would have a car to get here. Lots of parking. A CVS and Raleys next door. They use card system so bring $1 bills to start to purchase card. That $1 is added credit to your card. Its not a deposit or plastic card purchase. Many sizes of washers. read more

Skip it. I've been twice. The first time the attendant and I tried about 6 dryers before one worked. He told me that their system of card readers is always glitchy. (He was a nice guy and tried to help.) Some other people had trouble adding money to their cards when I was there that time. Second time--I arrived about 6pm. Every single washing machine and dryer was being used. There were like 3 people in the whole place. They must be some kind of service (?) So I came back later. The internet says they're open till 10pm. The sign on the front says 9pm. The janitor got shitty with me and yelled that they close at 8pm. I asked him why the sign reads "9pm." He just answered, "I watch video. I watch video." I'm still trying to figure that one out. Anyway, there's a place on the end of King's Row that's open 24 hours a day. Little more sketchy, but there's two pubs and a pizza place near door. I'm there now. read more

The man attending customers was nothing short of an amazing worker. He took the time to help me with the card process and was plain on point on everything! Not going anywhere but here just from that interaction. 5 read more

Fair prices, very helpful staff, very clean and convenient! Easy access to facility when your hands are full.

This place really helped me get out of a pickle when my beloved washing machine broke. I had never been to a laundrymat prior and I was kind of a newbie to this kind of establishment, but the nice man who works there made the experience seemless. He showed me how to get a wash card and how to put money on it and how to use the machines. I love how they have different size washers for different size loads so you don't have to use so many of them. The large 6 load washer is great if you need to wash for a household or to wash bedding. We all know how much of a humbug it is to wash your entire bedding. Comforters are so big!! The only reason I gave them 4/5 stars was that the place is a bit outdated. Everything still works okay, but sometimes, some machines leak. They do keep the place very clean and will always refund you if the machine does not do its job, although. If you need a laundry mat that feels safe and is quick and painless, I recommend you try this place out! read more

I usually can't stand to do my laundry as is usually crowded full of people that are irate kind of Dusty rancid and altogether unpleasant experience but I was really surprised when I came with the laundry land and knows everything is bright clean refreshing all the current Covid19 statues were in place and being upheld . the nice friendly lady -I believe her name is Katie greeted me with a smile with the mixture of Personality, professionalism and friendliness. I've never seen such a studious and hard worker in a laundromat before everything was Tip Top whoever trained her trained her well and I think she has some things you just couldn't teach I look forward again to talkin the friendly staff over laundry land and let go see my new place read more

If you must utilize a launderette (aka; laundromat, but more classy), here is the cleanest one I've been in. Yes, it has the permanently dirt stained linoleum floors, but this laundromat is picked up. There's not garbage lying around. Even the window ledge, clean, no Fly bodies to remind you there's somewhere better you could be. This laundromat is pretty business savvy; you buy a reloadable card, that makes the machines work. If you load $20 in it, you're rewarded with $2.00. The smart piece, who's to say you move? You now have a lovely plastic card, that you'll never use again... and they got paid. SMART; Well played classy laundromat... well played. read more

I bought a comforter that wouldn't fit in the washer and needed to find an XL machine to wash it in. Looked at my trusty Yelp reviews to find out what fellow yelpers thought - and Launderland was close enough and had great reviews. Because it has been years if not a decade since I had to use a laundromat - things have certainly changed. It's located right next to Raley's,, plenty of parking and close to everything. It's clean, well lit, and only a few people in on a sunday afternoon which was ideal. All the washing machines are in the middle, with dryers, benches and folding areas on the outside. They have a vending machine for sodas and detergent supplies. They also had a sink you could use to wash your hands which was handy in the time of Covid. Everyone was wearing a mask. I walked in and it must have been apparent by the lost look on my face that I needed assistance. A man came out and asked if I needed help (Francisco) He walked me through it - helped me put money on a card and showed me the right washer and how to use it, and then explained that the larger dryers were out of commission (electrical issue I think) then I screwed up and bought liquid softener when I wanted a dryer sheet and he exchanged it no problem. I was definitely his problem child and he was so patient and kind. He really took pride in his job and how the place looked. I was extremely impressed by both his kindness and work ethic. Management: He's a keeper! I was in and out in 45 and definitely would recommend and use them again if I need to. Large Washer $6.99 and Dryer $1.00 - cost me $8.00 out the door. Can't beat it. read more

Great customer service! We're from out of town and here for annual basketball tournament and needed a laundry mat to wash my son's uniforms. Doug was great help from the moment I walked in. Plus, very clean establishment and machines work great. I was done in less than one hour. Washer took 18 minutes for one load and dryer done in 20 minutes for one load. Could have done my wash today for $4 had I remembered to bring my own detergent and softener. It only cost me $2.89 to wash one load and $.50 for 20 min to dry. Forgot my detergent and softner but they have that available for $1 each. Coming back here for sure next time i need a laundry mat when we're back in town. read more

I hate using the laundry area at my apartments so I come here! I use the E second street location next to 711. (They don't have their own Yelp page) I was apprehensive at first but everything is sparkling clean inside with new washers that are quick and efficient! The laundry attendant who usually works is so nice and friendly, she does a great job of keeping the laundry mat in tiptop shape. read more

We've been regulars at this laundromat since we moved into a house and haven't been able to purchase a washer and dryer yet. It's old but clean, and I appreciate that there's always someone there to help customers or keep the place tidy. We tend to use the $4 washers, which can fit quite a bit. They run for 20 minutes. The dryers are 25 cents, and the machines take a card that you load using cash (or credit, which you have to ask one of the attendants to do). For every $5 you add you get 50 cents free. There's a bathroom and a soda machine for 75 cents a can. Sometimes we walk over to the coffee shop and grab a bagel or smoothie. Overall, it's been a good place to get our laundry done. read more

The key to a good laundry mat is cleanliness. This place delivers. Conveniently located on 7th street between Raleys (perfect place to stock up on detergent, fabric softener and bleach) and the Purple Bean (coffee coffee coffee great add on to laundry day). Gone is the need for rolls and rolls of quarters; they use an ATM swipe card system. $1 to purchase the card. If you load $20 on the card you will get a $3 bonus. They host 4 sizes of washing machines large, medium and small front loaders plus top loaders. A few of the washers were out of order but it didn't slow me down. Two sizes of dryers large and larger. Keep an eye on the larger dryers the doors pop open. I don't recall the pricing. They have tons of machines. There are a few benches to sit and watch the suds, a few folding stations, soda machine, and video games. Not a bad place to get your wash done!!! The good: Extremely clean machines Friendly staff New hours open @ 5am The not so good: No drop off wash&fold laundry service. No water in the soda machine; just go to the booth they keep the water in the back fridge. read more

Doug was quick to help and super friendly! This laundromat has a great vibe! 5 stars!

we were so lucky to happen upon this laundry mat in Reno! we are retired, learning the 'van' like on the road, and are new to laundry mats. unsure how to 'pay' - get the darn machines to work! LOL Lucky us, we found Doug at 'Launderland Wash & Dry'. a delightful soul! he was so very helpful and friendly! unlike the last laundry mat we went to in Laughlin, which we encountered a very rude, unhelpful employee. Thank you Doug! we don't like to do laundry . . . but, now, we want to come back here every time! THANK YOU! read more

In one word, outstanding. Very clean facility. Plenty of washers and dryers. LOVE the key card system (quarters drive me insane). Hats off to Kevin who is super helpful and made it so I could put money on my key card using a credit card. It turns out that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are discounted laundry days. I happened to visit on a Tuesday and that was a pleasant surprise. I did 3 loads of laundry and was in and out of there for less than $8.00 total. Even their regular prices are awesome. After several not-so-great experiences at other overly expensive laundromats in town, I am super pleased. I will bring my business here evermore. read more

Awesome. Very helpful staff and very clean. Basic pricing is $2.09 for the regular washers. The larger washers can go up from $3.19 during the week. Dryers are $0.25 for 10 minutes and the larger dryers are $0.50 for 10 minutes. Excellent deal and still the cheapest in town. Probably the cleanest too. Cards are easy...go to the machine, select get a new card, load $1. Just gives you a bonus of $0.50. Then reinsert the card into the same machine and load it using cash. If you are using a credit card to load the store card you have to go to the attendant. Then simply insert the card at each machine you wish and remember to press start. Wi-Fi is launderland and the password as of today October 7th is dirtylaundry. Simple. Very nice place and will be back until I own my own house which will have its own washer and dryer and so on and so forth. Grin. read more

This is the first time I have been to this laundromat. The gentleman running it is very helpful and super nice. I had never used a card reader machine. First time here and although a glitch or two popped up, would return in the future. Located in a more commercial area than I am accustomed - a Raley's is right next door - the place is clean and well-maintained, though unstaffed at times. Manager told me that the doors "electronically" (Read: Automatically) open at 5:30 A.M. and staff comes in at 8:00 or 8:30 depending upon the day. No cash is taken by the washers and dryers. All transactions, even the beverage and snack machines, are done by a card, which is issued by one of two wall-mounted machines, for $1. The machines could most definitely use an instruction poster, but beyond that, it is more convenient than carrying loads of coins. Prices for washing are a bit strange, with $1.99, $2.31 and the like shown via LED on the washers. Card goes in, cash comes off and you're ready to clean clothes. Dryers are the usual 25 cents, though 10 minutes is better than other places offering 6-8 minutes per quarter. The manager was very courteous, even when a youngster asked for quarters for the arcade games, the only machines which take coins. All in all, a solid place to do laundry. read more

The attendant was very nice, I assumed the machines would run on quarters so I brought a big pocket full. Turns out they use cards that you can put more money on as you need (like metrocard for the subway). The attendant exchanged my quarters and walked me to the machine to tell me how to put money on my card. He also gave me the WiFi password. Very nice guy! Will come back to do laundry here. read more

$6.29 for 6 load (quantity 4) $3.59 for 3 load (quantity 10) $2.60 for 2 load (quantity 11) $1.89 for regular load (quantiy 11) $0.50 for large dryers (quantity 6) $0.25 for small dryers (quantity 26) They have a card system in the machines. You get the card at a machine. Pro tip (thank you manager) is use $1 to get a new card, once you have that you can add a larger amount. $5 bill gets you a $0.50 freebie. Fairly clean, quiet and lots of machines... I counted, I had the time. Huge folding table. Current hours are 5 am to last load at 9 pm. Arcade games and convenient location. I've never had an issue at this laundromat in fact I come every weekend and I really like it. I feel safe and it's so convenient with the opening time 7 days a week at 530am. However this morning I'm trying to wash my blankets and after putting in my payment and my soap and things I couldn't get door to shut and it took my 3.99 so I had to stop and run to store to get more money on my card. The good part is they say put info down on paper and they'll send refund my problem is I had exactly what I needed. If machine malfunction why can't money go back on card. read more
