Needed to wash a few cal-king size bedspreads, and after doing a little bit of research on local laundromats, I chose to check out Spin Cycle Lavanderia. I do not carry a lot of change, so I appreciated that they accepted CC and Apple Pay. A first-time laundromat user, I was not sure what to expect. Upon entering, I noticed right away that the location was very clean with lots of machines to utilize. A few benches and a few counters. The washing machines came in different sizes/prices, and the drying machines are large and offered at no cost. The machines themselves appeared newer and in good condition. I went with the largest size machines for my large bedspreads, which were labeled for "6 loads." Wifi is available, and there are also laundry roll carts available for use. It is essential to note that if you use laundry detergent pods, they should not be placed in the same area where you would typically put liquid or powder detergent in large washing machines. Place the pod inside with the laundry. That information would have been helpful, as I did not see the sign that stated that until afterwards. read more

Hi all, I love this place! I've never had any issues here. I loved that they opened at 6am because I would do my laundry after dropping off my daughter at work before the rush and that I could have my coffee and a donut from Jelly Donut, next door while I waited. I came in with multiple loads when my washer was on the fritz. The good - convenient location, lots of machines, counters and basket carts seemed clean, customers were friendly. The bad - the machines clearly have some serious detergent residue buildup inside. They look clean on the surface but are not. I use unscented, free & clear detergent and I don't use dryer sheets. Despite that, my clothes absolutely REEKED of heavily scented detergent. We're talking STRONGLY smelling. My car smelled for days, the closet smelled for days, and when my washer was fixed I had to rewash at least half of the clothes (those that held the smell the longest). It was a huge bummer because the washers here are not cheap. read more

Clean, well stocked with an attendant (I did come on a Thursday morning), and lots and lots of washers and dryers. Free dry with a wash! Machines accept CC, Apple Pay and coins (coin machine and ATM onsite). A few benches and tables, with the laundry roll carts as well. WiFi here, bathrooms for customers. $7 for a 4 load wash is almost unheard nowadays at laundromats. Great place!! read more

i went to the spin cycle laundry mat this week and let me just say... i will be taking my laundry elsewhere. the lady working there with the orange hair was incredibly rude, i asked to buy a bottle of detergent and she laughed in my face and completely ignored me, i waited at the window just watching her play on her phone she finally looked back up at me super annoyed and finally went to grab the detergent i wanted but aggressively slammed it on the counter and rang me up. im extremely disappointed because this is the closest laundry mat to my house and ill have to travel farther just so i dont have to deal with that girl again. read more

I haven't had to use a laundromat in a very long time, but my dryer threw a fit recently and while I'm waiting for the parts to arrive to have it repaired, I had need of a dryer. Luckily, there is one close to my home - Spin Cycle Lavanderia. I was dreading using a laundromat, but was most pleasantly surprised by what I found here. Everything looks new and is very clean; it's also a pleasant place to have to wait with the murals on the walls and plants throughout the facility. I also spoke to an attendant who was very helpful and provided great customer service. Don't let the appearance of the parking lot fool you as it did me. I was expecting something very different on the inside, as was my husband, who insisted on accompanying me for safety. This laundromat is an excellent example of the axiom "Don't judge a book by its cover." I am really looking forward to having my dryer in working condition, but if I ever have to make use of a laundromat again, I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Last minute need to hit the laundry mat due to a broken washing machine, and thankful to hit the laundry mat lottery! You never know what your gonna get at a laundry mat, but I was stoked to find this place! The machines are brand new, sturdy and fast! Long gone are the days of one size fits all here... you have so many load size choices here from 2 loads to 10 loads!! Wash those comforters I used the 4 loads, it cost $6.50 and took 23 minutes (visual timer is a perk). ....and drying is FREE!!! They actually have staff on site and they were all super fun and helpful! This place was spotless and they were always cleaning to make sure it stayed that way. I highly recommend! read more

Every time I come to wash clothes the employees always yell at me and take my clothes out of dryers without my consent after I already paid for the wash and they remove my clothes from the carts because They don't allow anyone to keep them to hold their clothes for not even 10 minutes which was all I needed the employees here are very rude disrespectful and violent. I hadn't been here in years but here I am, in need of a laundromat after many, many years with a washer and dryer in home. I went here years ago because of the free dry. Back then it was just ok. A little on the dirty side and it seemed like the attendant was never there. Big, big change. All new machines. Everything is clean. The attendants wiped down machines twice while I was there. The best part...they still have free dry! I was amazed by them having 6 load machines!! If you have a big family or even if your washing all your bedding all at once, great option. The cost is $8.00 which, if you've been to any local laundromat, that's a deal, even without free dry. I myself used one double load and one single load washer. I spent a total of $7.00 and was out of there in an hour and a half which means that the dryers are efficient! I didn't take a lot of photos because I went on a Sunday but you can see how clean they are kerping the place these days. It was pretty busy and I'm sure other patrons wouldn't understand a stranger snapping pics of them so I refrained. I did check the place out though...clean bathroom, they offer free wifi and they have a laundry service that is very reasonably priced to drop your laundry off dirty and pick up all clean, dry and folded. They have an atm machine, bill changer and they also offer loadable cards if you don't want to deal with a pocketful of quarters. They are located on South Virginia next to Jelly Donut. Parking can be tight but there is additional parking at the back, Wells Street side. read more

I came here to wash an 18ft piece of canvas that I use as a tablecloth for big parties and this is the nicest laundromat I've ever been in. The lovely young blond lady was so helpful! Our new favorite laundromat. The remodel is great and the owners are fantastic. They are helpful, assisting with a jam/leak from a machine and always cleaning. I like the fact that you can use your debit or credit card, no need for coins or prepaid cards. they still have a quarter machine, and the dryers are still complimentary. The cleanliness of the business is such an improvement from before..it's immaculate! The parking lot can get crowded, parking is limited especially in the front. A quieter time we had gone was on an early tuesday around 12pm. read more

This is a perfect spot for doing your laundry. I was in need of such a facility after Burning Man. I needed a place that accepted card payments for the machines as this place does. To start off, there are various sizes of washing machines that are identified by load size -- 2 loads, 3 loads, etc. The larger the load size the more it costs for a wash. A 2 load front loading machine was $4. The machines work well and I got a good wash for my clothes and boots. Dryers are free! There is also a small shop if you need to by larger amounts of detergent. There are also various drinks as well. All prices were very reasonable. read more

Working out of town and doing laundry isn't the most fun experience but a clean environment is important. My husband had visited two other laundry mats in the Reno area and both times when he called me while waiting for clothes he described at best gross filthy laundry situation. I went down and looked for a new place so I didn't have to experience that myself- and found this place. Parking can be tight but that's the worst thing I can say. It was clean and even tho they say free dryers, my husband said it is actually about same price as other laundry mats because washers were cheaper. I was sitting there wonder how people gave it a high review as the floors were just covered in dust and bits if God knows what but then the lady that works there came back or started her shift and immediately grabbed a broom and got the place swept and cleaned back up quickly. I have been coming to this laundromat for two years and loved it. clean and employees were great. Just recently has this place gone to shit! The weekends are a shit show!! its dirty af, music is wayyyy to loud and the young lady thats doing the wash and fold services and runs the establishment is RUDE af always cussing acting like everyone is so annoying and how inconvenient we are to ask to buy something or a machine broke.
