Come here weekly , Great service. Mostly on every Thursday is free dry .100% recommend

They offer free dryers on Thursdays. They also have beautiful folding tables and good vending machines.

It's been a long time since we have frequented a laundromat and my previous experience was a little hit and miss on the experience but when my washing machine gave up mid load and a huge pile of laundry, I knew I had to do something. Wet towels and sheets do not smell too good. There wasn't any laundromats in the Spanish Springs area and this one charges $1.79 a pound to wash and fold with next day service. I took the rest of the laundry and my wet load here deciding that I couldn't saddle them with the smelly towels and sheets but I was woefully unprepared...no cash (cash is still a thing at the laundromat!) and I didn't bring anything. Maria works here she she saved me! I ran one load, comped and with her splash of detergent and brought them home to my working dryer. Maria also took great care in washing the rest of my laundry which I picked up the next day. If you need the service, wash and fold is there and they pick up too if you need it. It's also a clean, safe laundromat just across the street from Teglia Park. It's well lit and well maintained. If you stop in, make sure you say hi to Maria. She is part of why it's so good. read more

Great place, staff and Quality of Machines. In the heart of Reno/Sparks And super convenient for those who don't have the luxury of washing in their own home. read more

It's ok when it isn't busy. Some of the employees don't pay attention to what's going on. Today is the busiest I've seen it. Downfalls - the attendants need to dress like someone who works there. Most of the time you don't even know who they are. I had no idea who to talk with while I was there today. (And most times I've been there.) There's ONE handicapped spot. Beware, they let ANYONE park there without consequence so if you're mobility impaired, try somewhere else. This isn't the first time with this problem here.. and probably won't be the last. There really isn't a good walkway for handicapped people to get around all the cars either. You risk dinging people's cars with the metal carts when you only have one hand free to pull it. Too often they even let people park in the hash lines next to the only handicapped spot. *note* - I asked this guy if he realized that it was a handicapped spot and he told me he can park anywhere he pleases. He kept saying, "I'm in my car"... (the first photo shows he wasn't in there the entire time). There were spots open in the back (where we had to park). *Reported to the ADA for review. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, they'd have it. I have used their pickup/delivery service with wash/dry/fold and they've exceeded every expectation! Select a pickup time online, they text you through the whole process- when they're on the way to pick up, have picked up, when it's done, when the delivery is on the way, and once it's delivered. Everything comes back better than I could do it myself. I'm thankful to have found them and at a competitive price compared to other similar businesses! read more

SOAPY BLANKET! Horrible service staff! I never come to a laundromat because I have a washer and dryer at home so I needed to wash my bigger blankets for this cold season which dont fit my washer. I informed the staff here a women with glasses and tattoo behind her ear I accidentally added my detergent to the softener part. She told me that I could add detergent to the detergent area and just click on ultra or deluxe for the extra wash. I told her that I already had paid and I didnt know how to alter my payment and then she said you just have to click on it. "It will do it itself". As the washing machine turned on it was on regular. I went back to her and told her that it says regular she said did you pay? I said I told you I paid and that I didn't know how to use a washer bc I never come to the laundromat and she just rolled her eyes and walked away from me. I was hoping for more helpfulness. Ill never come here again.!!! I would've never paid money for this laundry machine 12.75 because of the Customer Service. I would be happy to pay more money elsewhere than this place that has a nicer staff read more

I usually don't have a bad word about this laundromat, but after my last few visits I'm ready to find another place until we move into our new home with our own washer and dryer. During the week, (especially Thursdays for free dryer day) an army of people come in here with industrial sized loads of linens and towels. They monopolize all of the washer and dryers, leaving those of us with one or two loads to wash waiting and standing around. (These pictures are only a partial depiction of this situation and all of the people involved) The buzz around the laundromat is that these are employees of a motel in Truckee, California. (35 miles away.) If indeed this is the case, I would think Truckee has laundromats. Shame on Megawash for allowing this to happen, but they are focused on profit vs. customer convenience. To the alleged motel owner, take these sheets and towels to an industrial washing facility, not a neighborhood laundromat. And to Megawash management, I'm not the only one that has this concern. In the meantime, I'll find somewhere else to launder our clothes. read more

I've been coming to this laundry mat for about 6 months and at first it was well maintained every machine was working properly and were kept clean. After a while the machines started to mess up and the lobby was dirty. Came to check in my clothes and I saw this crawling inside the machine as well as the machine next to it. read more

The maintenance staff (lady) is rude. When we reported a malfunctioning dryer, the staff member made it seem like it was our fault for using a broken unit instead of addressing the issue or putting a signage. Additionally, she neglected her cleaning duties and was frequently on her phone in the office. read more

They were on time picking up and dropping off. They kept every promise and did an excellent job. I think they were reasonably priced.

They are a great laundry service for all your needs. I use their pick up and delivery service when I need to clean my giant comforters. Their website is super easy to use and their schedule is accommodating. They have plenty of options for your laundry needs, including fragrance free products. read more

I decided to try a different place aside from my usual suds and duds, and I'm glad I did! This place is very clean, very high tech, and there's ampule parking. This place uses an app that you can download called "speed queen". You load money in it via credit card/debit card via $10 minimum and increases with $5 increments. You scan the washer/dryer you want and all done. What's also super cool is that it'll keep track of all your transactions (so you know how much you spend) and it tells you how much longer until your load is done. Very convenient for the new generations! Now if you're old school and like to throw quarters around, that's ok too! They have the bill breakers for quarters. Overall I'm impressed by how clean this place is and how high tech it is. I'll definitely be back. NOTE: there's also a special for getting your sh*t together and doing your chores/laundry from 7-10am, Tues&Wed. Also you earn rewards from the app which you can convert to $$$ to use later. Win-Win read more

For how much you pay to do laundry I would expect to be able to use any washer or dryer that doesn't have clothing in it. I put all of my clothes in the last large dryer this morning (with an entirely open wall of smaller dryers) and was told to remove all of them by a staff member as I was about to add money because 'it was being used'. The entire wall of smaller dryers was available, but she did not want to use those and instead made me remove my clothing and add it into two smaller dryers. Now I'm paying four times as much as a regular customer after having to use multiple smaller washers and being booted from the large dryer that I had almost paid for. The reason for multiple washers was due to the staff using all the large washers as well. What is a good time for the public to do laundry?? The washers and dryers are constantly out of order too. I will be looking for another laundromat. read more

I got to the facility for the first time ever and it was almost 9:30pm. when trying to park a lady that works there was standing in the parking lot talking to someone and didn't say anything to me as I got my clothes and went inside. I loaded the clothes poured my soap and went to get change. went back to the machines and paid and started 1 then as I was putting money in the other machine it said "OFF" I asked another lady that worked there if they can turn the machine back on or something, explained the situation and she said I can't turn the machine we have no way and I said ok so it took my laundry, soap & part of my money and now I can't wash my clothes. my other load started just fine they went in together and I'm going to be here the same amount of time as I have to wait for my other load. this is ridiculous, first problem is the rude lady that could have told me last load in at 9:30 or something even just responded hello out of respect as I did to her. second issue is my clothes are now in washer with soap and part of the money and they won't be getting washed. 3rd is when I called the business there is no answer and no return phone call. if your business is open so should the phone as it could be a emergency situation as I believe this was. I have never had to use the laundry mat but I am definitely not returning as the customer service was horrible and I was treated like I was below them and how dare me ask for them to fix the issue. maybe because I was the only white person in there.....I hope this LONG review helps someone including the owner as those ladies are not representing your company in a manner that was acceptable. read more

I've washed clothes in the facility before and found it very clean and spacious. I signed up to have comforters laundered for me via their pick up service yesterday. So glad I did! They picked up my comforters and for $1.29 a lb, they washed/dried and dropped them back off within 24 hours. In a nifty reusable bag too! Is it lazy to utilize such a service? Maybe. But I'm stoked to do so and thankful that it was an easy process. read more

After months of brewing open using coins you must use a app that can charge up to $10 per unit used. So today I would have had a $160 in holds. The person working told me they have coins but want everyone using the app. Also this place has changed the mask policy that Homeless are not Required to wear one. I looked on CDC it says extra precautions must be taken due to extreme likelihood of contact with COVID and their belongings will be contaminated. I Suggest everyone who does not want to get ripped off in addition hold that last up to 10 days and Fo Not want a higher risk of COVID to Avoid this place. I will not be back ever. It's BS I have to wear a mask if the homeless can came and go coughing on everything as is the case I have watched 3 No masks going all over the place couching all over the machines and digging through everything here. Employees do not clean up after them or any one here. Personally I'm wearing gloves now. Just to wash laundry. I have had Multiple deaths in my Family from Covid. This is a great way to join them read more

I've always had a good experience at megawas, the employees are so nice and helpful. this is my go to laundromat!

This is a great place to wash with the exception of customer service from one individual. I don't know her name but, she's a black girl with large hips and a very nasty attitude. It's enough to make me no longer want to utilize this facility and just so there aren't any accusations of me being racist, I'm a black person giving this review read more

Last week on 4/25/2023 I went to do my laundry and they had the doors propped open and I was cold so I sat in my car while my laundry washed. I set a timer on my phone and came back in less than 5 minutes later and the attendant (middle aged white woman with dark hair and glasses, heavy set) had moved my clothes. Not a big deal, I know there's signs that say don't leave laundry unattended. The attendant working that day recommended that next time I close the doors so that I don't have to leave the building. Fast forward to today 5/7/2023 and I go in again to do my laundry. I always have my headphones on as to keep to myself and not bother others. The doors were propped open again and it was very windy and cold so I closed them. As I'm walking away to switch over my laundry an older lady (gray hair, glasses, not very many teeth) chased me down inside and starts yelling at me to not close the doors. I walked away and said nothing to her hoping that not acknowledging her would make her leave me alone. She continues to chase me down yelling at me, and finally I took my headphones out and asked her to leave me alone. She continues yelling at me, this time getting louder and getting in my face gesturing like she wants to fight me. I asked her again to leave me alone because I'm just trying to do my laundry, closing the doors didn't hurt or bother anyone but this lady. Then a younger girl who appears to be her daughter got involved and started to get in my face as well. Now they are both yelling at me as I repeatedly ask them to leave me alone and trying to explain that I've been told I am allowed to close the doors. I pulled out my phone and called the cops and that's when they both finally left me alone but as the older lady is walking away she yells "and I work here so you better watch yourself!!" The older lady did not appear to be working despite yelling for the entire building that she did in fact worked there. I don't know any of them by name unfortunately but can definitely pick them all out of a crowd. The attendant on duty was the same one from last time that told me it was okay for me to close the doors, the heavy set white lady with dark hair and glasses & she stood in the corner watching this entire situation and refused to intervene. I then saw the older lady and her talking afterwards. Probably won't be going back and I'll definitely be recommending that others go elsewhere as well. Not to mention, half the machines are always out of order and I notice that the entire building is filthy whenever that heavy set lady works. The bathroom today had piss and other stuff splattered all over the seat, and the floor had muddy footprints and toilet paper everywhere. read more

It's a fairly well maintained laundromat. The prices are fair. I only had one experience when a you girl was working. She said I can't wash since they were closing and it was barely after 8pm. I haven't had any trouble with anybody else that works there though. read more

I love the washers and dryers here. They keep this place clean and there is always someone on duty to assist. The prices of the dryers changed to .25 for 8 mins bwfore it was a $1 for 38 mins. But that is fine, i will still continue to wash here due to the upgraded washers. read more

Brand new laundry mat! This place is nice and clean! Machines are clean and work great, the bathroom is kept clean, the lady who was working cleaning the floors was very nice and helpful. They have a soap center where you can buy soap, laundry bags, bleach, softener, and dryer sheets. They play music on nice flat screen TVs with speakers. I definitely recommend this laundry mat if you want a clean, comfortable, and fast place to do your laundry. There's a ATM, and 2 change deposit spots, the machines only take quarters. read more

Still terrible. There is one good girl that works here and keeps it clean the rest suck. She is the only reason this place is probably running.
