The owner and staff at this laundromat are epic! I had to do laundry one day and my 3 year old was sick. When we got there, she had to throw up outside. They offered water. While we were inside she had to throw up, they gave me supplies to help. Again she had to throw up, this time all over the floor! They insisted on cleaning it up for me and gave us towels. I cannot express my gratitude to them enough for their generosity and compassion. We use this laundromat every time we are in Truckee, and will continue to do so. read more

i've come here many times and never had an issue. This time the dryer randomly stopped working and said error so I told the person working who doesn't speak English. She didn't believe me that I paid so I showed her on my bank statement on my phone that I paid. It literally says Mountain Fresh, which it says that on the door and she said "no, you don't pay." read more

This laundromat is clean and well organized. Cost of wash $6.75. cost of laundry detergent is $7. The staff is courteous. There is parking in front of the laundromat. However, there are no places to sit inside the laundromat. The dryers cost $.25 for every three minutes. The washer and dryer worked well. It is hot, stuffy and expensive. Drying costs anywhere from $5 to $15 dollars for an hour of dry time. Washing starts at $6.00 for a single load. The temperature inside the laundromat is about 80F at 10:00pm in May while the outside temp is only 56F. If you are in Truckee, need a single load of laundry done and are willing to pay a premium for a clean laundromat. This is the place. For large quantities of laundry it is more economical to find a laundromat in Reno. read more

I have been coming here for years, and the new management is absolutely horrible. No one speaks English, so if anything goes wrong, nobody understands what you're saying. I arrived just five minutes after my load was finished, and I found it soaked on the floor. I have no idea if it was even done washing because it was still soapy. I am in disbelief and have never written such a negative review in my life. When I asked for a manager, the woman I spoke to literally had no idea what I was talking about. The place is clean, and nice. I don't know if prices are fair, high or low (because it's been a while since I've used laundromats). You can use credit card on a lot of the machines, in addition to coins,, which is handy. I love supporting locally, but with the price gouging on the dryers, it's not worth it people. it is now $.25 for three minutes of drying on the regular or $.25 for two minutes on the jumbo ones. It's probably cheaper to drive to Reno. read more

My comforters needed a wash. I read the reviews and I went to Truckee Laundry. I had a good experience. They had many washers and dryers. I had 2 king size, 2 queen, 3 twin comforters and I was there in a reasonable amount of time. Machines were clean and the personal working there were super helpful. They showed me how to pay using the credit card. No more stupid coins needed!! Doing laundry there was a breeze! While camping in the Truckee area, we needed to do a bit of laundry. I found this place online and it seemed decent from the reviews. It's right down the street from the Save Mart and CVS in a small shopping center. Easy to find. Upon entering, I noticed how clean it was, how new the machines were, and I was excited to see many of them took credit cards. I only ended up needing to do one load because they have massive machines that take double or triple loads. Also, it was very QUICK! The wash and spin cycle only took about 25 minutes. Next, the dryers. Wow - these things are affordable and QUICK! I think it took a total of 20 minutes to dry my very large load in the huge dryer. Love it. The area they have set up for folding is super clean and super large. I also appreciated the little tables to sit at, as I was able to do some work on my computer while waiting...although, this place was so darned quick, I wasn't there too long at all! Wifi worked great - took me a minute to find the password, but it is on the large sign hanging from the ceiling over the machines. read more

Excellent facilities and friendly service. Having just come home from a two week holiday with a mountain of laundry, I was allowed to use the wash and fold service even though they don't tend to do clothes. It really helped me out in my hour of need and I'll be back soon to get all my winter ski gear and comforters washed. So good to see such a great business in Truckee. Very clean facility. I like that they have someone working there at all times, makes me feel better about leaving my clothes by themselves. My only complaint is their prices and they are STEEP. I've done laundry all over Tahoe and this place is one of the most expensive. $5.50 for a single load wash and goes up to $12 a wash excluding drying. read more

This laundromat is the greatest, not only is it new'ish, clean, and 100% functioning machines, but they also take credit cards at some of the machines!!!! Have you ever seen such a thing? You can deal with quarters if you want, the machines take quarters also and there is a bill changer on site. They also have plenty or electrical outlets available to charge your devices. If you don't want to hang out in the laundromat, about 4 doors down in the same plaza is a brewery, where you can get a delicious beer and sandwich. The only thing I'd add to this establishment is, chairs! There is no where to sit! It's like they don't want you hanging around. read more

5 stars for their quick response. I brought in a comforter to wash and used a 4-Load machine (#11) thinking that was plenty of space to do their thing. Unfortunately I chose a machine that clogged and I got an "E FL" error. This meant a soaking wet comforter that didn't get a spin cycle. I had to ring it out on the sidewalk in one of their rolling carts. Why 5 stars? Because I called the help line and Scott responded right away and apologized profusely. He came down and took the machine out of service so no one else experienced what I did. I had already thrown my soaking wet comforter in my car to air dry at home and Scott still made it right. I'll come back and try again when I need to wash my comforter again. Thanks Scott! read more

This place is very expensive in comparison to the place I frequent in Fresno. It's still 5 stars because it's clean, and I like that they have credit card swipers. The downside is the gum in the dryers. Every single one had gum in it. I just choose one that was at least ok. Very clean laundry service and our clothes were washed really fast. We were camping in the sierras so we had a lot of laundry to wash and we were done in an hour!!! We used the time to explore the Mexican market next door. We found the Mexican market had a small bottle of laundry detergent which would have been ideal. As far as laundromat goes we could not ask for more...clean washers dryers and facility, fast, multi sized load options, clean bathroom and overall was very affordable. While camping we needed to do some laundry and thankfully we found this laundromat just down the street from our campsite. Was very happy to find how nice and clean the machines were. Half the machines take Apple Pay or credit card which was a life saver! 27 minutes for a wash and 20 minutes for dying! I had 3 loads of laundry and everything was done in about an hour. Would highly recommend if anyone needs to have their stuff washed go here! The owners were friendly, they have free WiFi for while you wait. read more

I can't believe I'm writing a review for a laundromat, but this is the nicest one I have ever been to. They take my dog-muddy runner rugs and make them like new. When my dryer at home breaks, it's super easy to pull right up (there's almost always parking right outside the front door) and wash/dry my clothes. It's just...easy. And clean. And nice, modern equipment. And good friendly owners. Highly recommend. I also recently saw that they now have mailbox rentals. Pretty good idea. read more

I never thought I'd leave a review for a laundromat. But here we are. I just really want people to know how rad, happy, and modern this establishment is. Aaron, I'm not sure if he's the owner or a worker, but either way he greeted me showed me which washers took coins and which took credit cards (what?? How is this not everywhere in 2019?!) the WiFi password, the bathrooms were etc. when I was looking if they sold a small bleach for a dollar like some places do ( some don't) he offered me to use from a stash of products saying since it was my first time I get the full treatment (really??). It all felt incredibly genuine, clean, and professional. I don't love going to laundromats but they definitely made it feel more like a Starbucks than a dirty ratchet regular laundromat. read more
