I do not carry a lot of change, so I appreciated that they accepted CC and Apple Pay. A first-time laundromat user, I was not sure what to expect. Upon entering, I noticed right away that the location was very clean with lots of machines to utilize. A few benches and a few counters. The washing machines came in different sizes/prices, and the drying machines are large and offered at no cost. The machines themselves appeared newer and in good condition. I went with the largest size machines for my large bedspreads, which were labeled for "6 loads." Wifi is available, and there are also laundry roll carts available for use. It is essential to note that if you use laundry detergent pods, they should not be placed in the same area where you would typically put liquid or powder detergent in large washing machines. Place the pod inside with the laundry. That information would have been helpful, as I did not see the sign that stated that until afterwards.

I was just getting use to having to watch the boring ROKU programing since the management dropped their cable channels.. I was talking to another regular customer when I noticed there was no programing at all. When I told her I would ask the manager why, she told me to save my breath. She said she was told the regular manager Doug was on vacation & took the ROKU remote with him !!! Is this because we've been complaining about losing regular cable while we're there waiting for our laundry to finish? Is Doug trying to teach us his limited programing is better than nothing? After years of being a customer, does the owner want us to find someplace without such petty management?

After doing some research on Yelp, I came across Kings Row Laundromat. I figured it was in a nicer area of town so I was comfortable bringing my daughter along. The laundromat is laid out well with nice spaces for folding. They have plenty of machines and I didn't have a problem finding an open large one. For a Saturday, they weren't busy at all. The place was pretty clean overall. Only downside was that there is no bathroom. After washing my comforter, I placed it in the dryer and felt comfortable enough to leave it while my daughter and I walked down the way to get lunch. After about an hour and a half of attempting to dry my comforter I finally gave up and brought it home to air dry. This was no fault of the dryer, it worked very well - we all know comforters just suck and you have to constantly fluff them haha. I will definitely come back to this location for any future large laundry needs.

Instead of trying to help with simple issues, he seems annoyed that you even ask. One time, a dryer was cold, and there was a sign saying refunds would be given if there was a problem. I put in one quarter just to test whether it was working before wasting more money. When I explained that the dryer wasn't heating, he smirked, and said, "It's not going to dry on one quarter." That completely missed the point--I wasn't expecting my clothes to dry on one quarter. I was testing whether the dryer was producing any heat at all. Another visit, he was already staring at me as soon as I walked in, making me feel unwelcome. I politely asked if he could exchange two dimes and a nickel for a quarter. He smirked, gave me an annoyed nod, and said, "I don't have a quarter." It's a laundromat, where customers use quarters constantly, so that response didn't make much sense. The machines are one thing, but customer service matters too. A little professionalism and basic courtesy would go a long way.

So, I made the choice to take them to a laundromat. This location came up first in my Yelp search. This place is gross. It just gave me that ick feeling. I set the water temperature to HOT, but I don't think that option worked. I'd say 75% of the machines were out of order. It was dark, damp, and dirty. I am pretty sure I sat in urine when I made the mistake of attempting to sit on the bench. I didn't even dry my blankets all the way. I left in a hurry and will be on the hunt for another laundromat.
