A close-up image of a basket of French fries, showing their golden-brown, crispy exterior. The fries are piled on parchment paper, with some overlapping. In the background, there are drinks and a table setting, indicating a dining environment.

Some fingers foods right out by the ocean with a beer? Can't go wrong there. View was great. Service was okay. Not a bad place.

I love this place, I have to stop Everytime I visit Ogunquit. The blueberry pancakes are always amazing and the view is amazing especially if you can get here around 7 A.M. when they are open. The staff are also awesome Everytime I come here.

2 fried eggs over east with home fries and sausage. - A breakfast plate featuring fried eggs, toasted bread, and sausage links is placed on a table at a restaurant near the beach. The table has condiments, a coffee mug, and utensils. The background shows a sandy beach, ocean waves, and a cloudy sky, with a metal fence separating the dining area from the beach.

Wonderful view, friendly service and a great breakfast. We had blueberry pancakes, eggs, sausage and homefries. Eggs were perfect over easy and the pancakes were lovely. And the view can't be beat, even on a chilly day in September. Great start to vacation.

Ham scramble. Yummy to the 10th power - A breakfast plate includes scrambled eggs topped with ketchup, two slices of toasted bread, three breakfast sausages, and diced home fries with ketchup. The food is arranged on a white plate, with a background showing a table setting that includes a glass of water, salt, pepper, and a red condiment bottle.

I never met a restaurant on the maine Sea Coast that I didn't like. Chalk this up to another one. Food was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable. Our server was walking around with a carafe of coffee permanently attached to her hand and was always there at a moment's notice.

I have been going to Splash for easily 25 years as my aunt has owned a cottage in Ogunquit, ME since 1987. It is one of the few spots in Ogunquit with a traditional bar and certainly one of the very few with a view of the ocean. It's very touristy since it sits right on Ogunquit Beach so they seem to never have drink or food specials (at least price wise) because they probably don't have to. I like to go for a beer and maybe a bowl of chowder and look out at the ocean. If you in Ogunquit you need to swing by!

Made my family cry. The food is not good. You go here out of desperation. The staff is just cruel.

Nothing but 80s and 90s music. On top of the beach. Really fun staff. This place is a gem. We will be back for sure.

Awesome location. Nothing fancy but consistently good food and drink options. We like to sit down for lunch to take a break from the sun.

Decent breakfast. Blueberry pancakes were good. The porch needs more shade and less glare.

We had dinner here this week, and it was outstanding. I…read morecalled and made a reservation a couple of weeks ahead of our visit (we were there on a Monday night, and in the restaurant area it was pretty quiet - just us and one other table). First things first - parking is super easy, it's a free valet service (not obvious at first, as there is parking behind the restaurant, but you're greeted right away when you pull in). We walked through the bar area, over to the restaurant area (surprisingly the bar was quite full), and were able to choose a table by one of the two fireplaces. On the restaurant side, it feels very cozy, and homey, exactly where you want to spend a cold night, inside eating dinner. Our server was lovely, greeted us right away and provided menus. I started with a cosmo (they had flavored versions like strawberry, but I elected to go for the classic). For an appetizer, we started with the bacon wrapped scallops - the bacon was maple glazed, and wonderfully crispy, with the scallops cooked perfectly, and some micro-greens scattered on the plate - delicious. For entrees, my mom had the baked seafood stuffed haddock which came with a lobster sherry cream sauce, a massive pile of perfectly cooked green beans, and mashed potatoes (yum). I went with the duck special, which was absolutely delightful. It came with Brussels sprouts, and I subbed out the au gratin (I very strongly dislike sweet potatoes), for mashed potatoes. It was delicious. We were so full, we opted for dessert to go (chocolate cake), which was generously portioned, and decadently delicious. We really enjoyed the meal - this was a wonderful dinner to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday!

We started with scallops wrapped in bacon and their bread service. The butter was sweetened and the bread was great. The scallops with bacon were excellent. My husband enjoyed a few vodka with cranberry and he wasn't disappointed. He chose the crab stuffed shrimp and sincerely loved it. The rice and green beans were great but he was full from the shrimp. I chose the filet with a lobster tail, fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Everything was simply superb. Dress was casual and the place was clean. Not thinking they are accessible though as there were steps going in the two doors we used.

So I generally check their hours of operation and drive there for dinner. Unfortunately in the spring we were turned away although we arrived over 1 hour before they closed as they said they were short- staffed and the kitchen was closing soon. We found a different place to eat and since we parked at the public lot across the street, we found that they were still open and had many customers an hour past their closing time. This time we decided to arrive extra early to avoid the previous situation. It was a sunny warm day but we were informed that the upstairs deck was closed because they were short staffed. We were looking forward to outside dining but the first floor deck is small and all the diners appeared to be having drinks. We choose first available which ended up being inside. When we first sat down, the couple sitting next to us wished us good luck getting our meals in the near future. Apparently all the others customers around arrived after them and they were almost finished with their meals and theirs hadn't arrived. A server offered them a compensatory drink for their inconvenience. One accepted and the other told them that she was done drinking for the day. When their bill arrived, the second customer asked if her drink could be comped. Her request was declined because they said that it would have been applied to the second drink and not to the first. As for our dinner, we went for the colossal lobster roll - hot with butter. We prefer the roll on the side to avoid it getting soggy. The regular lobster roll is currently priced at $35 with 1/4 lbs of meat. The colossal is $45 with 1/2 lbs of lobster meat. Our lobster meat was overcooked as it was slightly rubbery. That's not the quality we have gotten used to from years of visiting this restaurant. They may have had an off day as they were understaffed.

The food was overpriced and disappointing. We paid 50 bucks for a lobster roll that was not…read morecolossal despite the name. From the minute we walked through the door on a busy Saturday night we were made to feel welcomed and invited, despite our 8:00 table for 4 resi not being ready they made sure we were well attended to. The table was occupied by a few guests that were "overstaying" their welcome. The owner (Javier) was quick to point out that he noticed in the resi that both couples were celebrating wedding anniversaries and had a "special" table for us if we were willing to wait a little longer. We waited about 15 minutes at the bar and after conversing with the bartender (we really hit it off) we decided the bar was going to have to be good enough for tonight (especially since the lollygaggers were still sitting at our table). Not long after we made the decision to sit at the bar a server came over, dressed like any other server, and apologized for the delay and comped our first round of drinks. We thought it odd that a server would go out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. It turns out that this server was another one of the owners. No fancy suit, no name tag or title, not putting on heirs, just wanted to make sure we were happy and apologized again for our abandoned table resi. Sorry, probably an overshare to this point but that set the tone for the most amazing evening/meal ...2 orders of filet that melted in your mouth, a swordfish dish that was incredible and probably the best halibut I have ever had. The chef found out we were from her home state, so she came out to introduce herself and share her story (totally not called for but pretty cool) we told her the food was awesome and the back story as to how she became a chef made it even more special. We ended the night with a couple anniversary creme brulee that were delicious! All in, the service, the atmosphere, the hospitality, and the food make this every bit 5 stars for us. Thank you MC Perkins for a great anniversary dinner. See you next time!
