I've been coming here for years, and love the atmosphere and food. The owner is often present and very welcoming and the food is consistently excellent. It's my favorite lunch spot because they offer a variety of healthy mediterranean options. My goto is a Doner salad with falafel. The wraps are also very good, the wings are some of the best I've had, and the service is always friendly and quick. Get the sweet potato fries too, they're an excellent side. They have a nice complimentary lime infused water option as well that's always freshly maintained. They have a variety of beer options as well, and a great outdoor patio. Spitz needs to train their workers better. Have a policy in place when things don't go as planned. I'll start with the positives. Food: Excellent! We love the street cart doner wrap, the gyros, the fries. Price: Mid-range and affordable. You can order online and earn rewards. Location: Easy to find, plenty of parking. Service: When I went to pick up my online order, there were 3 others there waiting for theirs. I arrived 10 min early expecting to pick up and go, my daughter had an event. The lady at the counter said they're working on the order, but something was off because it didn't come out till 20 min later. I was in a rush and there were no apologies, no drink offers or any recompense for being late. My daughter ended up missing her event. Not only that, when we got home, ALL the wraps and gyros were missing tzatziki sauce. They were bone dry. When I called to inform them, the lady offered to pick up new ones, but I wasn't about to make another trip with kids at home, with the drive it would be another hour before we'd have our food. I had to suggest a coupon, which she agreed to mail out and we've yet to receive. I would recommend this place for the wraps, but think twice before ordering pickup and double check your food. read more

We got the street cart wrap and the kids quesadoner with fries. The street cart wrap was really incredible. We got a chicken one and a mixed 3 meat and both were great! We loved adding the zhoug sauce to it! The quesadoner was a little underwhelming, but my son liked the fries that it came with. The food all tasted really fresh. The people working were helpful and kind. The place was immaculately clean. I saw someone go to the drink area every couple minutes to wipe down and make sure it was spic and span! They cleared tables immediately after someone left. It was very impressive to see how important their cleaning procedures are! It's really cute on the inside and there's plenty of seating. The wrap was so good and very flavorful. Spitz has a green sauce and I was obsessed. I love sauce and it went so well with my wrap. I tried the fries and I regret not ordering my own. Came here with my wife, we both loved it. I got the Remix Bowl and she got the Medi Bowl. We also got Street Cart Fries (half sweet potato/half normal fries) and a Pineapple Agua Fresca. Everything was great and very flavorful. The employees were very friendly and helpful since it was our first time here. The bowls are actually enough food to fill you up. The husband and I both got gyros and the kids got the kids wrap meal. Every bite was fantastic. They have a variety of options but the menu is not overwhelming. They serve beer, wine, sangria, soda and juice. They even have fresh-fruit infused water which was pleasantly surprising and delicious. Portion for the Wrap was a decent amount and tasted well for the gyro meat in it. Portion for the Doner Basket was enough too but meat portion was lacking so much was a bit disappointed like I told them to give me all three types of meat and all I got was 3 pieces of gyro meat, 3 pieces of small bite size chicken pieces and 1 small ball of falafel. Fries were overcooked. Would have given it a 4 if the portions were a lot more. We came in around 8pm, outside was a bit dark we thought maybe it was closed but when we open the door it was so bright with such vibrant colors loved it! Its not very how do I say it flavors don't have a kick to it you have to add the kick in it. If I am around the area maybe will go for another try but I'll think I'll pass. :) read more

hey, i really liked this place. originally i was kinda like "meh whatever!" because it took forever for them to open, but i'm so glad i gave them a try! my friend got the zesty feta wrap with chicken and i got the mediterranean wrap with beef/lamb. we both really liked our wraps and i especially liked the roasted chickpeas in mine. you can also self-serve homemade zhoug sauce which i love and is so spicy. the only things i didn't like were that the napkins on the table smelled weird and that there's no trash receptacle. i walked around carrying our trash for a whole minute before asking staff where it was and they said to just leave it on the table. like, that sucks. people can throw away their own trash. i really loved the decor the restaurant too. my phone died before i could take more photos but the neon signs and lighting fixtures were super cool. read more

My husband and I were in a rush and needed to grab some food to go ASAP. We were across the street from Spitz so we decided to give them a shot, glad we did! Order/pay at the counter, take a number, grab a seat. Our food was ready super fast , maybe 5 minutes if that. We took it home and dove in, we were both happy with our meals! He had a Doner Salad and got balsamic and lemon tahini on the side. He really enjoyed the tahini and said next time he will get two of those and skip the balsamic. I only tried his fried pita and it was super good! I would like an order of those on their own, which they do sell with hummus. His salad was a really good size too, probably could last 2 days, but he was starving so he demolished it. I had a Zesty Feta Doner with beef & lamb. I honestly didn't think I would like it that much, I figured it would be dry, but I was so wrong. This was delicious! I especially liked the pickled banana peppers in the wrap, it gave it a good punch of acid. I also thought this was a large portion, and I saved half for the next day. I tried the spicy wrap and it was delicious. Just the right amount of kick to it. The service was fast and friendly and served with a smile. This is a fast casual restaurant and the vibe is upbeat. Visited on grand opening day for their bogo 1/2off special. We arrived around noon and as expected, they were a bit busy however not chaotic. The wait in line was approximately 15mins and during this time they had a folks giving out samples of their pita chips which were tasty, light and crunchy. There's outdoor seating in the front, inside there's a bar and some tables as well as addt seating in the back. We ordered a couple of the doner wraps, a remix bowl and the street cart fries. Everything was made fresh (so expect to wait a bit) and had a great taste to it. They had staff bringing food out to your table, while others are attentive to the guests dining in without being over bearing. Came here opening day after a year+ of waiting! I've been to both Spitz locations in LA several times and the food quality was pretty similar. Decor was a little less extravagant than the LA shops, but I think they have done a good job so far. A little slow, but it was super busy and the grand opening--so no big deal. Plenty of outdoor seating which is a plus (Although super hot this time of year). I really hope once they get established and have continued success, they can create a bit better protected outdoor area (both above and from cars). Regarding the food, I love how they have so many options (for all different diets). They always have such a colorful presentation which makes me feel like I'm really getting a good variety of ingredients. Flavor, portion, and price are all well balanced. Indoor seating includes 3 booths, some banquette seating, bar stools, and a mix of high and low tables. At dinner time on a Friday it was full, but there was patio seating available. I ordered the Doner Basket but was given the Doner Salad, which was almost the same thing minus the fries. It was fresh, tangy, and delicious. Those fried pitas were everything! My husband ordered the beef and lamb gyro with a Greek salad. He loved it, but I thought it was a tad salty. There are several adult beverages available (beer and sangria). The Societe light beer on draft is incredibly crisp, cold, and refreshing. My only complaint is that when I asked for silverware, the server pointed to a canister full of forks and napkins on the table. I consider this practice very unhygienic. Loved the food we ordered online which was served up quickly (10 mins). I had the remix bowl with beef and lamb, and quinoa. Very nice flavor. The buffalo-berlin and lemon herbed tahini sauces served on the side enhanced the flavor. Loved their version of buffalo, and the lemony sauce was amazing too. Wow wow wow . I once again went on instinct here and was just drawn to the fact it said medditerranien street food . I started reading the menu and landed on other favs and stopped at crispy garbanzo before I ordered. The actual quality of the food was top tier, and I could tell was at the higher end of the spectrum . The amount of food served was slightly decieiving and was more thab enough to fill me up. No browning on the lettuce really fresh made vinaigrette, fresh cooked gyro (lamb & beef) and the veggies all seemed above standard. To top this off the beer I had was served in a frozen Mug and was as cold as it gets for summer. The ambiance was definitely really hip for a fast casual dinning but honestly it hit me with with street food this is what I would expect in a high quality restaurant that needed the vibe to match. I will gladly find a other one of these locations and bookmark locations for my next lunch and gladly pat $30 for ice cold craft beer and top quality food. read more

Went here for a "Pre-Grand Opening" the day before it officially opened. We had never been to a Spitz (named after the skewer the meat is cooked on) before. It was very busy and there was quite a buzz inside. We ordered, and I got a beef/lamb gyro, the wife got a beef/lamb wrap and we shared an order of fries. Both items came quick, were fresh, hot and tasty. Since then, we've been back a total of 3 times. Last time, I ordered the chicken wings to go. Fried crispy and delicious. Probably one of the top 5 wings I've had. Fries are delicious too, very crispy and fluffy at the same time.
