What's a fun spot. $6 gets you the ability to choose from over 3000 games! They have a cafe with specialty coffee drinks and a full liquor bar. Also have food options too. Way to beat the heat in Omaha. Service staff was nice.

I really love this place. I've been a few times and it never disappoints. If you love games, are a nerd or just simply don't like going to bars this is the place for you. They have a huge selection of games to choose from and you can stay however long you want. The coffee is delicious, I always get the bitter defeat or love letter. Also just a cozy vibe in general that helps make connections with you friends or family. This time I rented the purple room since I had a bigger group and the room was nice but pretty hot and very quiet in there. I would recommend bringing a speaker to play some light background music.

Such a fun spot. This gaming café has an awesome collection of games with something for everyone, whether you're into board games, card games, or just want to try something new. I love all their drinks. Both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic options are creative and delicious. It is the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time in the best way. Hands down the best place to hang out with friends, relax, and have a great time.

I've been to Spielbound many times for their pub quiz and for days of game play. It's a super fun concept, and a nice way to spend an afternoon with friends! The day passes for a full day of game play can run from $5-$7, depending on the day, which is pretty low when you see how many games and activities they have. They have HUNDREDS of games to play, and are adding more all the time. There is even a box out to suggests new games they may not have. Aside from all the fun games to play, you may get a bit peckish after a full day there, so they do have food and drink options too! Drink-wise, their coffee is out of this world delicious, and always comes with super cute foam art on top. I get the Sweet Victory latte, which is butterscotch and caramel and SO tasty. They also have some alcoholic options, like beer, wine, cocktails, and ciders. Day drinking and board games could be a lot of fun! In terms of food, they have pizza that is sourced from Tasty Pizza. I know it's heat and eat, but it was actually pretty dang good! However they're heating it up to serve is an excellent method because it does not taste unfresh at all. We had the hamburger pizza and it was super flavorful and filling. (We will definitely be stopping at Tasty Pizza to try some other flavors of their pizza, based on this!) Their fries were also pretty yummy, and came with bbq sauce and ranch to dip them in. I know fries are fries, but these were full of flavor and had a nice crunch. Aside from the games and food/drinks being delicious, the staff is also wonderful, helping you choose a drink, answering questions, and constantly restocking the games. These people have the patience of a saint! I definitely recommend Spielbound for an affordable and fun activity with the added bonus of enjoyable food and drinks, too.

This is the coolest place! So many people enjoying games with just a wonderful atmosphere and a LARGE selection of games. The employee working the front desk saw my excitement and gave me a fun dice! Thank you for that sweet gesture:)

Great space...you check in..pay a minimal fee and you get a large booth to play board games...we had a BLAST with fellow yelpies...they have coffee, tea, alcohol, snacks, candy, cookies, desserts, food (pizza) everything you could want ...staff was great and Efficient...we will be returning for date night game night with friends! Highly recommend for a great social outing with friends

Super fun board game cafe! They have several rooms and lots of tables for games, a huge selection or you can bring them in yourself! They have a big selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, including coffee. We tried the Picard, which is a London fog with bourbon, the health potion, strawberry lime azul, and Spielbound mule. You can bring your own food in for a totally customizable experience!

A partial view of the games collection - this might show a third of what they have.

A friend of a friend recommended we check this place out on our trip to Omaha and, wow, what a terrific idea! When you walk in, there's a counter for coffee and other drinks and a small retail section jam-packed with games. I can't honestly say if there is food (other than candy bars strategically placed next to the register) because I was enjoying my conversation with the barista too much to look around. I had a mocha made with strawberry milk and the offspring had hot chocolate - both were delicious - but the real stars of the establishment are the hundreds of games on the shelves in a second room. I wish I had had more time to check them out - maybe on our next visit! They offer a day pass for access to the space and games (I think he said $6), but he kindly let us try a few since we were only there for a short time before the zoo opened. Of course we couldn't leave without adding a few more items to our own collection... This is a must-return when we get back this way. I just wish we had something like this close to home!

The branding and overall vibe feel intentional, and I genuinely appreciate their mission and what they're trying to build in Omaha. That part really stands out. That said, the coffee itself didn't quite hit for me. I ordered a seasonal latte and was excited for something distinctive, but the flavor felt pretty muted. It tasted more like a standard latte than something seasonal or layered. Not bad by any means -- just not memorable. I'd still come back to try something else because the space and concept are strong. I just hope the drinks lean a little more bold next time.

When I get the chance to sit somewhere for awhile, Astute is my first choice. It's generally quiet enough to read or study, and the pour over service is truly exceptional. The roasters they choose to work with are some of the best around. Astute's employees' commitment to serving their clients well and learning about the nuances of each coffee make for an excellent adventure each time. ++also, they carry Pettit's Pastries and you're gonna need to grab a donut while you're here. The space is relaxed and has a welcoming vibe with two distinct seating areas offering a mix of tables, lounge chairs, and sofas. The music is at a comfortable level, with plenty of folks settled in on their laptops working and studying. Even though it was cold outside, I ordered a medium iced mocha. It was rich and chocolaty without being overly sweet. Despite a decent crowd inside, my drink was ready within minutes and service was genuinely friendly. Overall, this is a solid neighborhood coffee shop that's worth the short walk if you're staying nearby.

The cashier was friendly and helped me apply the eGift card that I had purchased. The Bees Knees Latte that I used to order is no longer on the menu, so I tried a Honey Bee, similar, just without the aromatics. Not as good, but I am sure I could have asked for something closer to the original latte, so that is not on them. Ambience is great, well decorated, and plenty of tables. The baristas were having a conversation that would be deemed inappropriate by many, especially since the young man had a few colorful things to say that got some good laughs from his coworkers; luckily, I don't mind hearing the gossip while I wait for my beverage. Fairly quick service considering how busy they were. I recommend stopping by if there is a free space open.
