I spent over an hour here just looking at books in one specific area because they are piled on the floor and on top of the bookshelves. I'm so glad I was able to come here and will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.

My husband loves to read and buys all his books from here. It is SO important to shop local. Very helpful staff - which is another great reason to shop local small businesses. THEY CARE about things, it's their passion. They even have some free books, as well as some that are free with purchase of other items. Love that! The ladies at the checkout were helpful and make pleasant conversation that doesn't feel forced, which is so nice. The vibe in the store is noticeably peaceful. The tasteful music, lighting, and comfy seating is immediately welcoming. The space has room to grow, and a glance in the back room with its stock of books indicates that growth will be coming. As it is now, the shelves are organized by genre and alphabetically. I noticed a lot of familiar authors in the fiction books and many interesting titles in nonfiction. If my tbr pile was not already so large, I would have been tempted to buy more books than I did. I had a nice conversation with Fearless, one of the owners. He's a great listener as evidenced by how he listened to my motor mouth go on and on. He's a prolific reader, so if you want advice about your next read or just want to talk books, he's your man. Fearless says they are hoping to make the store a place where people feel comfortable enough to hang out and have a cup of tea or coffee. There are tables and chairs for working or just sitting and talking. The website indicates they sometimes buy books, but also accept donations. If you're wanting to support a local book shop, give 2 Dads a go.

It is only open a handful of hours per week, so certainly check their Facebook page! Once you catch them on their open days, it is certainly worth it! It is such a small book store that each book in there has a reason, as it says in their bio! There is a section for each type of reader, small and older! Even though the bookstore isn't large, I find myself browsing for a very long time at each and every section of the store! There is definitely something for every one!
