There is a mixture of all sorts of books, including government publications, small brochures, self-published books, and textbooks. I found a couple of books that I've never seen before. I spent over an hour here just looking at books in one specific area because they are piled on the floor and on top of the bookshelves. I'm so glad I was able to come here and will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.

I was there for the business and economics section, however they have a vast book selection and a broad spectrum of subjects. When Carl walked me over to the business and economics section it was so well organized I was able to take my time and go through it one book at a time. I found several books on Howard Hughes that I wasn't expecting to see. His staff is great, very hospitable. If you're ever in Omaha Nebraska make sure you visit Jackson Street booksellers. I will be back next year, God willing and the next time I will make my schedule so that I can spend time there. The price of the books are fair and of value. You will not be disappointed.

It is only open a handful of hours per week, so certainly check their Facebook page! Once you catch them on their open days, it is certainly worth it! It is such a small book store that each book in there has a reason, as it says in their bio! There is a section for each type of reader, small and older! Even though the bookstore isn't large, I find myself browsing for a very long time at each and every section of the store! There is definitely something for every one!

The inside is cozy, with comfy spots where you can sit and enjoy flipping through a book. I thought the organization was great. It's really easy to find what you're looking for by genre. The books, movies and games are a mix of gently used and new, but honestly they all looked pretty new. It's locally owned and the people who run it are so friendly and welcoming.

I know some think half price books can be hit or miss, this location has NEVER failed me. I always leave here with more than I thought I would with the biggest smile on my face. The ladies at the checkout were helpful and make pleasant conversation that doesn't feel forced, which is so nice. Often times they'll comment on the book selection you've brought over and if you're lucky, they've read it too! I highly recommend if you're trying to get into reading or just need a space to clear your head!

This is a newer shop right at the "entrance" to the Benson strip, and it's fantastic!…read more The shop has so many cool things, as well as odd, vintage, collectible, and artsy fare (a giant glass Ring Pop? Yes please.) There are vintage clothes, cool posters, sports memorabilia, and nostalgic toys. There's even a little area where a vintage style TV is playing old movies. My favorite part of the store was that there was a SHOP KITTY! She was so adorable and I'm guessing sweet (she slept and purred the entire time we were there, so she's at least chill with strangers anyway). Every corner and end of this shop is packed to the gills with neat things, so you'll for sure find at least one thing you have to have. We definitely did (an interactive Iron Man helmet LOL).
