They have a WIDE selection of various pop culture items. The store is packed full of various things from games to video games to movies to funko pops to action figures to music and more. I think they need a bigger space! Everyone there was friendly and helpful as well. read more

A great fun place to buy and sell retro toys, action figures and games! I love going there. I always find something cool to purchase. The store is well organized and the owner is friendly. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth checking out. read more

First time I went to sell stuff the customer service was great and I got a really good offer for the products I brought in. Brought in stuff a few days later and there was another employee working I mean I brought in a good amount of high priced stuff and I got an extreme low ball offer. Times are tough so I took it but I definitely feel scammed. I would never sell here again. read more

Friendly, informative, clean, organized, great selection of nostalgia. Did I mention the fair pricing. Pop culture exchange is worth frequenting for our nostalgic needs and wants. read more

A great place to come and reminisce your childhood. From figures to games to movies. The selection of figures and toys is the best in town. Games are solid, but nothing too rare. Prices can be a bit on the higher side, but the selection and friendly staff make it worth it. I would much rather give my money to a small business instead of a random eBay seller. Next to Ben's Game Zone this is my favorite stop in Omaha. read more

Amazing retro selection of DVDs, VHS, vinyl, as well as games for Sega Genesis, SNES, Game Cube, etc. These have been chosen with a careful eye. None of the usual throwaway trash so often found at places like this. I suggest you go some Sunday to First Watch down the block (Ak Sar Ben location); when they tell you it's a half hour wait, head on over. If you're like me, you'll miss the wait-list text. read more

First time coming in , was looking for a Video Game Store ... Saw the Name and Bam!!! Caught my eye !!! ... Good prices , Good Customer Service and had a blast looking around and chatting with the staff about 90s stuff and Danny Elf-man OST and 80s Band lol ... will be back when I'm ready to spend some good money on them !!! read more

Super cool store, especially if you're into toys and video games. While the store is pretty small, it's stocked with all kinds of things likely to take you back to your childhood. Original TMNT figures? He-Man? Star Wars? Star Trek? Other weird little toys you forgot about? They have it all at pretty reasonable prices. On the video game side, they have a nice selection of games from the 80s and 90s. If you have a lot of old games at your house and don't want to mess with eBay, bring 'em here and sell 'em. There are also a few arcade consoles that are free to play, including Super Mario World, Super Contra and Tekken 2. Flippin' sweet! I also see this as a great spot to grab some nostalgic goodies for events or just finding odd, goofy presents that will for sure make your friends smile. read more

Amazing pop culture merchandise. Friendly staff. Movies, tv seasons, figures, comics and more. I love it.

Oh my gosh! We love this place! I happened to see this place on my way to lunch with my hubby, and decided it would be fun to check it out afterwards! My little one and I went in here and they guys there were cool about it! He's only 2, but they didn't freak out or anything by him playing their video games, which is free to play for anyone, which is awesome. This store has everything you could ever imagine such as Star Wars items, Pac Man, video games, DVD's. My favorite is that they had Strawberry shortcake and the Care Bears. Definitely took me back to my childhood. Our favorite purchase so far is a plug and play Pac Man game. It works amazing and we all love it! Our first trip here, we took home a few different products and didn't cost too much. I would definitely recommend this place. I think it is amazing! read more

Kind workers and an amazing array of stuff from video games to horror figures. I've never walked into a store and seen Dying Breed starring Leigh Whannell so that was an excellent surprise! read more

This store is perfect for almost anyone! Whether you are looking for a gift for that hard to buy collector, or a collector looking to complete your collection, this is your store. They have every gaming system game, from Atari to Game Boy to PlayStation and Nintendo. They also have a large collection of CDs and DVDs. I loved browsing through the store and seeing my favorite things from my childhood, including Alf, Pee Wee Herman, and Care Bears. They also have Tekken 2 that you can play for free! Hell yeah! The other fun thing, they were playing Goonies on the TV. Another thing to note, they buy, sell, and trade for cash or store credit! So dig out your spouses' things they don't need any more and bring them in for some cash! read more

This is a teeny tiny store tucked off of Dodge on 71st that caters those of us who grew up in the 80s and 90s. Comic books, lots of toys and props from movies from those decades, even a few free to play arcade games. Prices are pretty in line with most collectible stores-if it's rare, you're gonna pay $$&. But there are also tons of fun items $3 or less. I had to stop myself from buying every little thing I recognized from growing up in the 90s. You can find something for anyone here. Def a place I will go back to soon! read more

Pop Culture Exchange - I wonder if the gum is still good.. - Toy Stores Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

I just love this place. They have a great selection that's always changing and they are aware of what is currently popular. I went in there on Monday looking for a relatively rare item, the dude told me they were out but would put me on a call list and would let me know when it comes in. I feel like we've all put our names on a list like that only to never hear from that business again. Not the case with POP Culture Exchange! I got a call from them today ( Wednesday) saying they got it in. Wow, that was FAST. I recommend PCEx to all my collector friends. *Great staff too, they seem like the friends you would have had a blast with at a 90's LAN party. read more

Always a fun place to explore. This place mainly focuses on vintage pop culture collectibles like games, game consoles, game accessories, action figures & other toys, drinking cups/mugs, DVDs and more. I buy movies here sometimes and I also bought some games & a game console from this place recently. The guy whose at the desk most of the time is nice and you can strike up a good conversation with him about movies, games & other topics. Games are reasonably priced & very affordable, as well as the DVDs. You people should check this place out. read more

Owner is not exactly friendly. Excuses for lowballing 30% of value was "I have over-head to pay for". More like a pawn shop.

If you happen to be looking for pop culture memorabilia, this place is bursting at the seams!!! Locally owned, the shop is always tidy and products well organized for the amount of product they have. It can be overwhelming at first, you won't know where to begin! :) Vinyl records, music, movies, board games, comic books, accessories, decor, video games, even arcade games. Tons upon tons of action figures and toys from your childhood, yes everything you remember playing with or asking Santa for. 60's, 70's, 80's... I don't know where they find all these treasures but step inside and it'll take you back. With a geek in the family, we visit once in a while looking for those rare action figures or collectible lego minifigures. read more

Great fun retro store! This is a place the whole family enjoys going to. Even my wife will sit and play vintage arcade games while the rest of us look around. The husband and wife that run it are super nice and pretty much experts on vintage pop toys. We will leave with something every time we go. GIJoe selection and vintage star wars figures is usually pretty good and better than anywhere else in town. Good job Pop Culture - thanks! read more

I love this place. It puts a smile on my face to go in here and see the crazy toys and games of my past. They have a remarkable selection and the owners are friendly and knowledgeable. Finally took the time during one of our longer Saturday outings and stopped in for a peak. What a fun, memory filled trip around the store that was.
