This was fun! The coffee service was quick and easy. They have a great selection of coffees,…read moredrinks, teas, smoothies, boba teas, sodas, candies, and treats. I enjoyed my almond milk latte. They have a huge selection of comics and novelty items. Great place to relax and look around while having a coffee!!

The shop is super well laid out and not cluttered and hard to shop, like a few other comic/collectible places we have been. As soon as we walked in, the attendants behind the register were so excited to welcome and help us find anything we needed. They came out to answer questions, and helped my husband find key issues he wanted (so we left with a lot of loot LOL) Aside from all the great comics, they also have collectibles, like plushies, Funkos, figurines etc. as well as a little spot for kids to play while their parents shop. They are called Legend Comics and COFFEE, and I was more interested in the coffee than the comics so I stopped in to the cafe while my husband perused everything. I got the Golden Caramel Latte, and it was extra delicious - not too sweet but still a little hint of the caramel to give you that sweet taste. My husband wanted to get a drink that was chocolatey, but without coffee. I asked the barista at the coffee shop if they had anything like that, and he actually made me something special on the spot. It was a frozen chocolate milk, and my husband went wild for it. I don't think it's on the menu, and was made impromptu, but you may be able to ask for that, if you want to try! There is a lot of seating at the cafe and also around the comic shop, including little benches, if you want to sit and pore over your potential purchases or if you're waiting for someone to finish shopping. Even though we spent way too much money here, I definitely recommend it if you're a comic collector/lover, as they have so many things to explore (both in comics and coffee) and you may find something new you love!

I was excited to be going to a new comic shop with my husband. We have been collecting comics for…read moreyears and know how to handle them. Going inside for the first time, we were coldly greeted, as I replied and tried to make small talk, I was one worded. (Not very friendly) as we start to look around, I quickly noticed how careless they are with the comics. NONE of them had supporting backs so they didn't bend with pressure or ruin the spine and they were completely unorganized. There were comics laying around not in the proper places everywhere. I thought maybe they just got a shipment but no, the worker was sitting on his phone paying no mind to us, asking if we need help or the other gentleman who looked like he did. I got towards the back of the store and noticed a box that said "New arrivals" that was completely full with another very full box on top of the "new arrivals" box, bending the comics on bottom and I mean they were bent in half. Any collector knows you clearly do NOT treat comics that way as they are fragile, especially since they didn't put supporting backs in the sleeves. I started to look for a few comics I wanted to fill some gaps in and realized that there was no way I was going to find anything specific because of how unorganized they were. My husband was having to dig dig dig to find a comic that wasn't ruined. He was able to find some, but as we checked out, the guy again was cold and not friendly at all and was completely mishandling our comics to the point something had to be said. He actually bent one of the comics we purchased because of his carelessness. We take pride in taking care of our possessions, especially our comics. I am sad to say that I wouldn't recommend going to this place, and we definitely won't be returning. A disgusted collector.

My husband and I have been to pretty much every comic book shop in Omaha on the search to complete…read moreour Wolverine collection, and this Dragon's Lair was one that had a few we were looking for! This is a bit more for the tabletop gamer, as that's a lot of what they have now, but they did have a good selection of comics, just put away more than the games that take a lot of the display area. The comics were there but were more in drawers, and they had cute comic characters of each alphabetical letter drawer (like Wolverine on the W drawer). Very clever idea! Another cool thing is that a lot of the decor they have around the store is dragon-themed, sticking with their name of the Dragon's Lair. They also didn't have as many figurines and pops as a few other comic shops we've been to (though they do have a handful). They more have the gaming dice, Warhammer figurines, and games like Settler's of Catan etc. The staff was more helpful at this location vs. the one out on 144th and Center, where they kind of act annoyed when you want to actually buy something and they have to ring you up LOL So If you're looking for a new game or interested in collecting Warhammer figurines, this would be great for you. If you're on the hunt for a certain comic book, they may have that too, but it's not the main focus anymore like I remember it being when I was a kid.

On my trips, I enjoy visiting comic shops, used bookstores, and record stores. I was able to find some books that I wanted.
