He was going on and on about how Pokémon was for the kids however was gloating about how much money he spends a week on comics, magic, POKÉMON CARDS, etc.. Me who was only there to help support a friend on trying to find a specific issue of a comic was trying to be friendly and make small talk with the employee and explain to them that I was considering on grabbing One Piece cards since I am over 1000 episodes into the show. Immediately I was asked "are you going to play the game or are you only collecting them for pretty cards?" Then proceeding to be told that they advised me to not buy any since I wanted to collect them and didn't care to play the game. These type of people are ruining the collector community and driving people (like me) who aren't interested in scalping and actually want to get into a new hobby away from it. I will say there was another gentleman who actually went out of his way to help my buddy look for the comic book he was looking for and was extremely helpful! However I will never be stepping foot into this business ever again since it seems like they don't want my business and they were terrible to deal with.

They immediately offered to call the other location to check if they had the first 3 books in stock. Once they confirmed the other location had them they arraigned to ship to this location and added my name to a file so that when any of the newer comics in that series come out they will them aside for me. The ones available aren't always wrapped in plastic, which means you could find several with bent corners or frayed edges from moving around from past patrons. I did find a wall calendar and the price was reduced due to the new year being today. Selection of hardwoods is very good and they carry scads of interesting pieces. Their machinery selection is also excellent. It is very pricey. Online sources for wood, hand tools, and machinery are significantly less. I only purchase from Midwest Woodworkers when I have a project for a client that needs to be completed before parts or wood can be delivered. It's thouroughly OK.
