I found several books on Howard Hughes that I wasn't expecting to see. His staff is great, very hospitable. If you're ever in Omaha Nebraska make sure you visit Jackson Street booksellers. I will be back next year, God willing and the next time I will make my schedule so that I can spend time there. The price of the books are fair and of value. You will not be disappointed.

Customer service was also on point, gentleman at the register was very nice and friendly, even patient as one of my kids made a last minute sketchbook purchase decision at the end of the transaction which I felt held up his time a tiny bit, but he appeared unbothered

I was excited to visit the new and used book store that recently opened in Bellevue. It's been a…read morelong time since Bellevue had a book store, so this is a welcome addition. The vibe in the store is noticeably peaceful. The tasteful music, lighting, and comfy seating is immediately welcoming. The space has room to grow, and a glance in the back room with its stock of books indicates that growth will be coming. As it is now, the shelves are organized by genre and alphabetically. I noticed a lot of familiar authors in the fiction books and many interesting titles in nonfiction. If my tbr pile was not already so large, I would have been tempted to buy more books than I did. I had a nice conversation with Fearless, one of the owners. He's a great listener as evidenced by how he listened to my motor mouth go on and on. He's a prolific reader, so if you want advice about your next read or just want to talk books, he's your man. Fearless says they are hoping to make the store a place where people feel comfortable enough to hang out and have a cup of tea or coffee. There are tables and chairs for working or just sitting and talking. The website indicates they sometimes buy books, but also accept donations. If you're wanting to support a local book shop, give 2 Dads a go.
