So, I came here a couple times in the past. It didn't really stand out in my memory (no negative ass associations, but no burning desire to come here again). However, I have been going to the Arvada location quite a bit the last year or so. And since this location is conveniently located just two long blocks away from the Federal Theater, I decided I needed to try it again. It is really good. It is the exact same menu as the Arvada location. The service is very good. Prices are a bit steep, but that is par for the course these days. The food is really well-made, I have not had anything here that I did not think was well prepared. Probably my biggest problem is trying to decide between ordering one of my old favorites or trying something new. Sometimes you get rewarded with something amazing and other times you realize "oh yes, those aren't quite the flavors I was looking for". But, I can definitely recommend this location and we'll be eating here again. Uber convenient to grab dinner here before going to a concert or other show at the Federal Theater.

Mango Lassi

Food was fresh and full flavored. We got one Butter Chicken and one Lamb Madrass, both came with rice. We got medium spice and it wasn't overbearing or too spicy at all. We also got the Garlic Cheese Naan which was sooo soft! The Mango Lassi was also really good, not too sour. Service was quick, didn't wait for a table on a Friday night. Food came out very quick and were made fresh to order. Ambiance is nice and clean, smells like lots of spices when you walk in, which gets your appetite up! Parking is EXTREMELY difficult though, only 4 spots available in the front...I believe it's just street parking if you aren't able to get a spot.

They have so many options of curries to choose from! Each curry comes with an order of rice. We ordered garlic and cheese naan which tastes so fresh and soft. The rice is a bit plain but goes well with the heavier curries like the Madrass. Curries are packed with flavor and is the perfect take-out meal. The crackers were a good appetizer with the four sauces it came with. The service was fast as the food came out even faster. It's clean inside but not many tables for seating. the parking lot can get pretty crowded.

Pretty solid food, butter chicken and jalfereezi were both solid. Service was decent and ambiance was clean and reasonably well appointed. None of the dishes were amazing but if you're looking for Indian food this place will certainly satisfy the craving for naan or spice. Remember spicy is spicy. They have a pretty extensive menu and the portion sizes are conducive for ordering family style.

Small space inside and limited seating outside. Parking is tight and limited space. We were first in the restaurant. We got water without ice. We have asked twice for the ice, and then we got glass full of ice. It was hard to use it. And we saw the rest of the table got iced water with lime in it. I'm not happy with this cold service. Food came fast. Mango Lassi- 3.5/5 - not too sweet, which I like, but the consistency was not good. Chai old fashion - 2.5/5 Ipa- 4/5 Mushroom Manchurian - 3/5 - Mushroom is cooked nicely, but Gravy is a little sweet and with more artificial color. Malai kofta -5/5 - great curry with taste Dal makhani - 4/5 - nice curry without greasy Laccha paratha - 4/5 - edges were hard to eat, but it was thin Onion kulcha - 4/5

Butter Chicken (Makhani). Our favorite of the night.

Wonderful! We had been to another one of their Spice Rooms in Arvada and it was perfection. I thought I'd show the family this other location, and it was just as delicious! We are now huge fans. We used to love Yak and Yeti, but the quality went down and so we've been on a hunt for a new Indian/Nepalese. This is it. The hunt is over. We love this place, the service, the quality, the ambiance. I'm willing to bet that even though they have several locations, the quality is top notch each time. While the ambiance wasn't as pretty on 38th as it was in Arvada, it still made up for it with the excellent food and service. Glad to have found a new favorite!

The Spice Room did it again-amazing Indian food! We ate way too much went to bed extra full but when the food is that good how do you stop? The chicken Shahenshah is our favorite dish and we always get that with naan and we've started getting the french fries because french fries and curry is just an unbeatable combination. I'm a big fan of their Chana saag and the sag paneer also very good. In fact I've never had a bad meal there. Lately we order all of our spice room online and pick it up and eat it at home and I've been really impressed by their commitment to using sustainable packaging. Everything almost everything that they use is compostable, which is amazing.

Honestly, one of the better Indian restaurants I have ever been to. When you find a restaurant that packs them in and a large menu you know a place has it dialed.

The flavor definitely delicious, one of the best Chicken tikka masala, we were a family of 4 and ordered different side dishes all of them really good. Garlic/parmesan naan, I asked for salt, because to my taste just need it a little. The deserts and drinks super yummi. I noticed that the servers, waitresses are Indian but in the kitchen I heard spanish they maybe were mexican or from latin America, reason why maybe i liked the food a lot.

We got takeout from here. Very disappointed. The food is not authentic, saucy, salty and heavy. Not at all what real Indian food is.

When you make reservations, and it is highly recommended that you do, there is an option to select a preset theatre menu option- Theatre Prix Fixe for $60 per person or the traditional menu option. The Theatre menu is the way to go for sure. For my first course, I selected the Insalata di Caesar. This is a very large portion of salad so be forewarned but it is also very good, so win-win. For the main course, I opted for the Pollo alla Milanese. Also, a huge plate of food. I was able to make two additional meals from the chicken. The tagliatelle was perfectly cooked and the sauce paired perfectly well with the breaded chicken. Perfetto! For dessert, I had to try the Budino di Caramello. The butterscotch was truly delectable. Our server and the staff at Panzano were amazing and checked in on us frequently. I highly recommend Panzano if you're in the area.

When we eneterd the restaurant the gentleman at the register was really helpful and pointed out that the whole 30 version of the menu item can greatly differ from the description often removing items. For example, if you are looking forward to the chicken and dumplings, beware if you select the whole 30 option NO DUMPLINGS. My salad had lots of ingredients, however, the whole 30 version only had beets and almond flour feta (which was delicious, ps) but a lack luster salad. I'm not sure why they wouldn't replace the pickled onions in the salad with fresh onions so it didn't look as sad. The green chili wasn't spicy (which is probably good for some) and was cumin forward. Not bad. Matt enjoyed it, although it had the vegan cheese wiz, which I am pretty sure shouldn't have been on the whole 30 option- we picked it out. The Buffalo cauliflower was an excellent portion and was good! The vegan ranch was watery and not what we expected, but also not bad. Spicy options for those of you like me are chaloula and I saw them with Frank's red hot, but you will have to ask the kitchen for it. It was cozy inside and as I mentioned the service was good. However, I'm not sure we would go back until they have a menu change.

I mainly came here because I knew they had tomato basil soup and I was having a strong craving. To start I got the queso fundido because of a place has it on the menu, I must try. I asked if it could be done without meat and our server said no - that it was premade. Honestly, this was just okay queso. Definitely not authentic or anything like actual queso fundido. Would not order again. The soup was good! Not the best I've ever had but definitely good. The only thing was we ordered a soup but didn't specify and got the small size. I would specify a bowl if you want a meal sized portion. The grilled cheese that came with it was tasty! The chicken Caesar wrap was fine. Portion is sorta small but glad it comes with a side. Nothing too special. Overall the place is nice, staff is friendly and food is fine. I wouldn't particularly want to return but if a friend suggested, I'd give it another shot.

It was Wednesday, which is half off bottle of wine day, so we chose to get a bottle of the Dalia Pino Grigio. We chose some shareables. We got the Mediterranean Board. It would normally have baba ghanoush and hummus. I mentioned that I was allergic to eggplant so they left both the baba ghanoush and hummus off the board. Our board came with dolma, roasted tomatoes, marinated olives, pickled turnips, fennel, feta, Schug and sliced pita. Schug is a spicy, fresh Middle Eastern hot sauce from Yemen. It was my first time having it and it was a delicious spread to put on the pita. We also shared the Sticky Ribs. Three pork ribs with five-spice lacquer on a bed of Asian slaw. For our final shareable, we chose the Venetian Flatbread which had pesto, provolone cheese, roasted tomato. We decided to add the spicy coppa on top. Everything was quite tasty. We were watching Breya skillfully make snazzy drinks and my husband decided to get a Mary's Gimlet. We watched as she blended vodka, lime juice, and simple syrup, floating a lime slice on top. This was a great start to our evening. The location was perfect as it was adjacent to the theater, which was our next stop.

At one point, I seriously thought about flying back to NY to get the good baguettes. After a few years, I finally found one! I was there every Friday, but now, with a new job, it is just impossible to go. When I was going to a meeting in Denver, I searched for a bakery. I always look at photos of a baguette - the whole "figure" and how it looks when cut. I could find photos of the baguette, but none of the cross-section.
