Lamb Korma (or Rogan Josh) - I can't remember!
    Stefanie C.

I met up with some friends to catch up over Indian food. It was cold and snowy, but we sat on the covered, heated patio. Felt nice, actually. I ordered Lamb Korma (or Rogan Josh) - can't remember which one of my favorite dishes I choose. It was pretty good. Not standout but would come back again if someone suggested. The highlight was obviously the company I was with.

Ordered this place on uber eats and let me tell it was solid. The jalapeño roti was excellent and I thought the masala cheesesteak was also great. The bhindi masala was also nice, flavorful and interesting stir fry with okras. Next time I will definitely add lamb. Overall prices are reasonable and I liked the flavorful profile. Next time I will have the full experience when I dine in.

Something has changed within the last few months, and I'm not sure what it is, but I don't think I'll be ordering from here anymore. I'm genuinely sad. This was my favorite place to eat. We used to get takeout from here two or three times a month, but the last several times have been just terrible. We usually get saag paneer. What used to be a creamy, spicy, flavorful, and delicious meal has been replaced with something bland, watered down, and sometimes disgusting. Our last order tasted like burnt plastic. It was nearly inedible, if not for the cheese naan. We used to get so excited to order Tikka and we'd be sitting there eating it talking about how amazing it was with big smiles. The first time something was off we thought it was a fluke, so we tried again a few times. We tried until the excitement was dead. I am so, so sad to say we will not be back.

So I already left a review for delivery but this place was so good I went back for lunch and dinner The servings are very generous and I can't stop eating the Tikka Masala And the service was great!!!

Samosa chat -- it's a cut up samosa with Chana (chickpeas) and sauces on top. A deluxe samosa really!

I've been to the other South Broadway location and this has the same menu. I'd call the menu huge! So many options and so many meat/non-meat options for the dishes. I've honestly never seen so many choice at an Indian restaurant before! It will surely please everyone with such variety. Just give yourself time for perusing so much. The drink prices are excellent here. I tried a Chai Martini, it was sweet and tasty if that's your thing. I am glad they opened a spot on 6th St, so much closer to me and right by The Esquire. So, if you're checking out a movie there, this is the perfect before or after spot! My last meal I swapped out the beloved paneer with tofu in my palak/saag just because I already had so much cheese that day and I was so surprised how great it was! The tofu really took on a similar taste and texture of the paneer I typically get! Also, if you like samosas but want to try an amped up version, try the samosa chat! Many places do offer this, so I was excited to see it and have it again. See my pic of it! The food is great here and it will be a place I go to often that is for sure.

I had enjoyed the original Tikka and Grill location, but after some extensive delivery experimentation, I can now say the same of the new location too. When I first tried this location, I think my excitement to dabble overtook me a bit. I got the goan fish curry, the bhindi masala, and the baigan bharta. All of which were good (the eggplant a little less impressive than the prior version I had), but perhaps just too varied a combination of items. After some time, I gave into a craving last week and ordered a few curries and samosas one evening and was blown away. Then this week, I did it all over again. (I may have eaten my weight in curries this month. ) If I were to summarize my experiences and adoration, it would go something like this: unparalleled selection of vegetarian and vegan adaptable options (you want vindaloo, korma, masala, saag, all of it can be done veg, multiple ways); generous portions at fair pricing (My gosh look at that pakora appetizer! Biryani for days!); tender proteins when you do want meat; and chutneys to boot (some places won't even spot you some tamarind with samosas, boo!). Delivery has always been nice and quick too, and well packaged. The new location is certainly convenient. I still need to check it out in person, but I have to say regardless it's been making my evenings at home.

An amazing Indian and Nepali conventional cuisine! I've been to all 3 Tikka and Grills and thoroughly enjoyed each location. The pictures I have are from the 6th Ave location, all very clean and welcoming. The customer service is very nice and accommodating, they start you with a soup that I can't have but I'm told it's delightful. My favorite dish is the Lamb Korma, you really can't go wrong - I could eat it every day! 1000/10 recommend. And on certain apps they have BOGO deals for pick up or delivery! Take advantage of it! And don't forget to order the ONION BHAJI for starters

Go!!! Ignore the very temporary sign on the outside! Really good Indian/Nepalese cuisine. I like that they will spice it up so you can taste it....medium was good not crazy hot. Most customers were getting it low...so there you go. Portions are huge....this is such a huge plus I cannot scream it loud enough. The Lamb vindaloo was loaded with tender meat. The Tandoori chicken had so much chicken it lasted three days....and the quality was fantastic. Great veggie dishes. Great Naan. Pro Tip: Parking is a little tough so if you are picking up use the Safeway parking lot next door.

I ordered to go. The Naan was burnt. We were very sad. I am wrapping my head around why the Biryani and Saag cost just around the same but we received a very small saag and an extra large Biryani, does spinach cost that much? Lol. Although the taste of the Biryani was good, I do not think I could order from here again

The best Indian food in Denver. I love the saag paneer and butter chicken medium. A side of garlic naan is essential.

These were advertised as spicy but definitely were more on the mild side. We also got the chicken korma, dal makhani, and garlic naan, and everything was delicious. This, in American - Indian restaurants is akin to ordering chicken fried steak at Cracker Barrel. Every Indian restaurant should be able to make this. Frustratingly, the naan was dry, chalky, doughey and tasted old. It wasn't fresh and hot, leading me to believe that either it is store bought or was cooked much earlier? I had to ask for butter just to moisten it some. Rice was substandard. The chicken? Well, rubbery in consistency. It required ample effort with a fork, almost making me want to ask for a knife. The sauce wasn't bad, but lacked in flavor complexity. For me, and I am truly unbiased, I'd recommend spice room on colfax over this place. Other issues dampening my experience: no free snacks to savor (crackers with the chutney) while waiting for the order. This has become customary in American - Indian places. Hot chai tea, while $3, not unreasonable, comes with no refills. I won't be back here. But the quest for new Indian venues lingers here in Denver. I blame the Denver food critics as one called a female foodie ranked this as Denver's finest Indian restaurant. It's actually Nepalese and really needs some help.

My new go-to Indian spot! I'm so happy I found this place!…read moreThe food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and packed with flavour. They have such a great variety of dishes to choose from, with plenty of meat and vegetarian options, so there's truly something for everyone. And if you like spice, this is definitely your place. You can choose from different levels of heat for each dish, which I loved. The mango lassi was SO good, and the service was just as wonderful as the food. I was asking about their iced chai after seeing someone else enjoying one, and they were kind enough to bring me a complimentary one to try, such a thoughtful touch. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and constantly checking in to make sure you have everything you need without being overbearing. They have two locations, this one is their smaller spot, but it still feels warm, welcoming, and spacious enough to enjoy with a group. Both locations have such a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. I also noticed a constant stream of takeout orders being picked up while we were there, which tells me I'm definitely not the only one who thinks this place is amazing. If you're craving flavorful, fresh Indian food with great service and lots of options, you need to try this place.

The Thali caught my eye as it's essentially a traditional platter with a variety of balanced small plates from rice to potatoes to dal soup and even dessert all on a single tray. I got it with Butter Chicken which was so good! Highly recommend as it was creamy, medium spicy, and very aromatic. I absolutely loved the street-style chaat! It's creamy, crunchy, cold, and loaded with flavors and textures. Such a satisfying bite and I almost couldn't stop until it was gone. I love that this Thali came with both rice & naan as I usually want both and can't decide lol! The rice was fluffy and aromatic from the cumin while the garlic naan was fresh, soft, and delicately brushed with garlic & parsley. I didn't care for the dal soup (bit too watery) or the jeera potatoes (bit undercooked) but the dessert was a nice way to end the meal. Their options included rice pudding and gulab jamun; I went with the "healthier" option lol. It was creamy, sweet, and cooled down my palate after the various dishes. The Lamb Biryani was another good try! The lamb chunks were tender and seasoned, the rice was aromatic, and it paired well with the onions and raita (yogurt sauce). This definitely satisfied my craving and I'm glad I stopped by before the long day I had ahead!
