    Chicken Tikka Marsala (takeout)
    Kelly M.

Ordering online was easy. The staff made pickup simple. It was only $0.99 extra to make a dish dairy free which is nice for our son with a dairy allergy. The dish was clearly marked "dairy free" on the outside which I appreciated. The chicken tikka was flavorful and filling. This dish is my comfort food!

Disappointing - food all tasted the same. Food coloring was in everything, lassi and all entrees. Naan was good! Service was fine.

I was completely blown away by this place. The service was impeccable. And the food was amazing. I ordered the chicken madras curry medium, and it was the perfect amount of spice with sooo much flavor. The garlic naan was hot and the perfect combination of crunchy and chewy. I was not expecting this from a small restaurant with "express" in the name, but it is definitely worth a try if you love Indian food.

We have picked up India express for our family twice this year. We are impressed by their ability to have food ready for pick up orders on time and they have not made a mistake on any of our orders! We appreciate the full suite of mods that can be made on the online ordering platform, including making various dishes dairy free (which is so, so nice given we have a child who is allergic to dairy!). The flavors hit the spot, but one recommendation I would say is to clarify that peas come in the Saffron/Yellow Rice.

Honestly quite impressed with this place!! we stopped in on Diwali, and the restaurant was SO kind as to give us free papad, chai, and free dessert. It was nice coming from somewhere else and still having some place to celebrate Diwali. Really happy about that! He also was very kind enough to ask us exactly what our spice level was, whether we wanted spicy or Indian spicy. It was refreshing and even though we said just normal spicy the food came out extremely spicy for us still! We got the gobi manchurian, paneer tikka masala, garlic naan, and rice! The garlic naan was delicious, on the thinner side but well flavored with big portions. The paneer tikka masala was also delicious, well flavored and wasn't lacking anything. The gobi manchurian was just okay, I felt it tasted quite oily with too thick of a batter so the cauliflower was lacking. Additionally the sauce felt very dry and caked making it dry rather than being moist. Overall I'm really happy I found this place, the ambiance is relaxing with Indian music playing in the background. it's causal yet you can still come with a family for a sit down dinner. I would definitely come back here if I was craving Indian food and I'm happy to have this restaurant in the neighborhood!

I thought it was about time for an updated review... 10 years later. Still to this day, after all this time, this is my favorite spot for chicken tikka masala. After I tried to find my favorite tikka masala, in 8 different countries, this is still my favorite. I am not aware of the buffet anymore but I will add the lunch chicken tikka masala stuffed me full. It is possible to share an order if you are able to be selfless with your masala. I am selfishly in love with this dish, so I don't often share. Stop driving by and stop wondering, go and see for yourself! Yums!

I've been looking for an Indian food restaurant in my neighborhood and I think I found the winner here. First off, as soon as I walked in through the door, I was greeted so kindly and that was consistent throughout my entire time here. The server brought us chai and was very knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Both the chicken korma and the chicken tikka masala were creamy and flavorful. The chicken was tender. I can't wait to come back and try out some other items off their extensive menu!

The best Indian food I've had in colorado so far. Delicious butter chicken, dal soup, and saag paneer. Flavorful, warm, complex. Nice service, and I enjoyed the bowls the food was platted in. It wasn't fancy by any means, but a great quick easy meal. Probably wonderful for takeout. Great garlic naan too!

I feel like I've driven by this restaurant so many times and have just never tried it. The service was absolutely wonderful - everyone was so friendly and attentive. The food arrived quickly which was nice, as we had limited time during our lunch break. We ordered a couple of dishes and although all of them were delicious, the chow chow noodles were probably the best. We'll definitely be back and we're looking forward to trying different things!

Wonderfully inviting interior. We visited on a chilly bluster Saturday afternoon and were the only customers. Service was very attentive. We ordered Butter Chicken, Bullet Naan, Chicken Tiki Masala, and Butter Naan. Both Naan versions were wonderfully! I got the Butter Chicken in medium spice and it was just enough to get my nose running a bit. And the Tiki Masala in mild was heavenly!

The space feels very Root Down in the best way. Funky, artsy, a little mid century, but still comfortable and not trying too hard. Then the food starts showing up and suddenly the whole table is passing plates around because everyone keeps saying "wait, try this." We ordered a bunch of things and the smoked carrots were probably the biggest surprise for me. I would absolutely go back just to eat those again. The masa birria, diver scallops, and grilled artichokes and asparagus were all great too. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly and came with duck fat potatoes, which immediately puts me in a good mood. Dessert also fully delivered. All of it was really great, but I think the gnocchi was my favorite of the two entrees. The ginger beer is not super gingery, tastes like Fevertree. The chocolate chip cookie with sea salt is an absolute must! It comes wrapped so I took mine back to the hotel to share with my non-veg husband after he got back from his work conference dinners and he said they were the best chocolate chip cookies he'd ever had! Also, I think it's fun that the plates are made to look like wood, but aren't. The first time I came it had been pouring rain, so the restaurant wasn't as full and it was very easy to find an open table, but the second time it was positively packed, and both times were week nights, so I suspect this place is pretty popular with the locals. I like that the ordering is done through QR code and website, since that would make it easy for groups and means you don't have to all know what you want at the same time (or, if dining solo as I was, you don't need to interact as much with staff, which is sometimes a blessing). Several members of the staff wore face masks, which I appreciated, and there were some nice paintings on the walls from local artists for sale. With the menu so unique I prefer a little more "hands on service" but the experience was tasty and eager to come back and try other things. Clean, homemade, high quality vegan food with lots of GF options/ substitution-- Highly recommend.

The location is inside of a food court type setup, so this also seems like a good place for a group with varied tastes, as if you have omnivores with a fear of vegetarian/vegan food with you, they could grab food elsewhere and I believe you could take your food and eat it out in the court area together. The Thali caught my eye as it's essentially a traditional platter with a variety of balanced small plates from rice to potatoes to dal soup and even dessert all on a single tray. I got it with Butter Chicken which was so good! Highly recommend as it was creamy, medium spicy, and very aromatic. I absolutely loved the street-style chaat! It's creamy, crunchy, cold, and loaded with flavors and textures. Such a satisfying bite and I almost couldn't stop until it was gone. I love that this Thali came with both rice & naan as I usually want both and can't decide lol! The rice was fluffy and aromatic from the cumin while the garlic naan was fresh, soft, and delicately brushed with garlic & parsley. I didn't care for the dal soup (bit too watery) or the jeera potatoes (bit undercooked) but the dessert was a nice way to end the meal. Their options included rice pudding and gulab jamun; I went with the "healthier" option lol. It was creamy, sweet, and cooled down my palate after the various dishes. The Lamb Biryani was another good try! The lamb chunks were tender and seasoned, the rice was aromatic, and it paired well with the onions and raita (yogurt sauce). This definitely satisfied my craving and I'm glad I stopped by before the long day I had ahead!
