A great all around spot to get your Indian food fix at a great value when taking into account food portion to price. My family had the Tandori chicken which was wonderfully spiced, super juicy, and an absolute huge portion, and Chicken Tika Masala. The masala sauce was good, not the best in town but still very much enjoyable. Tbe naan bread I would say is the best I've had in Colorado. The service is friendly, attentive, and helpful. Definitely above average service. The restaurant itself is kept clean and tidy. A great addition to the area, we loved it.
Service - friendly! Easy to get seated and attentive Parking - small lot but spaces! Food was all so very tasty! I got mild for most of the items, one dish was spicy and I could feel the spice building up. I enjoyed the date naan as it was sweet but my friends didn't notice too much of the date flavor shining through. I liked the date and butter taste for myself though- it was good to eat it with the savory dishes. - Butter meatball chicken was done so well. Not dry at all! - momos - very tasty and the veggies and sweet sauce were a nice addition - garlic cauliflower- omg how did they get a crisp on it without having a lot of batter? It was so good! - never fried chicken wings - this was moist and the Mango sauce we picked was very tasty. Definitely will be back to try more!
Came here with a large group of friends for a going away party. They were able to accommodate 12 of use which we know was rather difficult. I am not super familiar with Indian food outside my go-to dishes, so we ended up ordering a bunch of random dishes. Everything was delicious! I am not entirely sure what we all order, but it was so good that I would be willing to go back and order it all again. We had a people with nut and gluten allergies; there was something on the menu for everyone even though many dishes had those allergens. The best part was when the bill came. We had at least 3 to go boxes filled to the brim and yet the bill was only $250!! It was such a great deal and ended up being less than $25 pp for the feast! I will definitely be back and cant wait to try it all again. Overall, 4/5 stars!
This place was such a surprise and the best decision to end our Colorado trip with Indian food. The food was excellent. Service was quick and it was full. The ambiance felt like 90's indian restaurant We ordered lasooni Gobi (amazing),kurkuri bhindi, Samosa chat for appitizers and it was delicious. For the main course, we ordered achari aloo, katahal (jackfruit) fry, and baigan bharta all three were delicious. The naan was super soft. The pulav for kids was great too. We ended our meal with gulab jamun -there are 3 in one order and our server gave us 4 since there were four of them on the table. He saved us from fighting over gulab jamun. We even ordered a shikanji drink and that was refreshing. Would eat her every day if this place moves opens a restaurant in Hudson valley.
Always a pleasure to dine at Spice Room! Food is delicious, service is excellent. My favorite thing is tandoori chicken wings! I enjoy trying new dishes as well. I'll definitely be back as always
Traveled all over India and haven't been able to find a local restaurant that delivers authentic Indian cuisine until this place. WOW. There are many options from Northern India to the Southern (spicier and my preference) Indian cuisine. I ordered the Madras which is a southern cuisine made with coconut and curry leaves. You have your choice of rice (brown, cumin white or tumeric basmati) and choice of lamb or chicken. I ordered garlic naan was a perfect dish on a cold night. We ordered the Masala blooming onion which was almost too much food. Highly recommend and with such a large menu, it will take several visits to find my favorite dish. I can't wait to try the naan pizza.
Why did it take me so long to get to Spice Room?! This place will probably become one of my top places to eat if the food keeps being this good. I went with a friend and ordered Pani Puri, chicken vindaloo, garlic naan, and a fried vegetable meatball curry. Each dish left me impressed and I can't wait to go back and try more.
Very tastey Indian food food the menu is huge. Staff was knowledgeable and helped with recommendations of what to eat as first timers. Its plenty of food and you can definitely share. They have outdoor seating which is nice. Parking is easy and the vibe is chill. They have vegan and vegetarian dishes.l available as well which is really nice. We had chicken tikka with naan and samosas. The samosas were spicy but packed with flavor! Will definitely be back!
This place has been on my list for awhile now and we finally tried it! The momo's were fantastic. I thought the curry was ok, but I want to try some more items next time.
Definitely a must if you flavorful dishes and love great service. We had the chicken masala and korma and both were amazing. The atmosphere is very welcoming and if you love Indian food, this is the place to be.
Really enjoyed Spice Room -- the food was solid overall and the chai was amazing, definitely one of the standout parts of the meal. A bunch of us ordered the thalis, and they came with so much food on one plate. The paneer veggie included in the thali and the chaat were both delicious and super flavorful. The paneer roll and biryani was a bit mid for me, but everything else more than made up for it. Great portions, great chai, and a nice spot if you're craving a hearty Indian meal.
I honestly can't remember the names of what I ordered but it was so gooooood. One of the dishes was the eggplant based one and I actually really loved that one although the flavors are milder. The chicken dish was delicious and was tender. I think it was described as a dry curry. The mushroom dish which was a curry was amazing as well. We got our food super quickly and this place is so big with so much seating! The menu is huge too and I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to try everything on it. Service was great :)

Loooooots of variety and looooooots of smell What I got a number of items. For starters I got the mushroom Manchurian. This was very good, a bit spicy but I love the variety, I usually have the cauliflower one but great to try something different. They also provide free papad. For my main I got the Rajma and Aloo, This was very tasty, I really like the beans and sauce. Rice for days! I got garlic naan bread as well, I thought this was not as fluffy as other ones that I had, but it was very soft and still tasty. Environment Parking can get filled up pretty quick, not much parking on side, but street parking is available. This inside was nice and cozy. There were booth tables and regular tables. Niceness of the staff They seem to move quite quick. I was able to get what I needed to get. Dollar I thought it was more on the expensive side. Each dish was at least 15$ Yes/No I would return here to try the other items on the menu. read more

Hands down the best Indian food in Denver. We've tried a LOT of places, and Spice Room definitely has the most flavor. They have tons of options including vegan options, and everything is super flavorful. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Tofu Tikka Masala, and a variety of naans. Will definitely be back soon! read more

Very nice restaurant. Pleasant staff. Food was excellent in my book. It was fresh, flavorful , portions were generous. We arrived pretty late , about 45 min before closing. One thing that bothered me is that despite several customers still eating or even waiting for food , staff was cleaning up restaurant and vacuuming . I understand that everyone wants to and needs to go home but change the hours for customers to leave early enough so staff can clean when everyone is gone. read more

Food was good, service was slow. Few friends were recommended this spot saying it's a great Indian place to try. I won't lie, the food was good. I really enjoyed the masala Indian bloom - it's a less tangled onion bhaji. I also got the lamb tikka masala and it was really good and perfectly tender. Now why not give 5 stars? First reason is the service. It was extra slow tonight. Took us about two hours for our whole turn. I also heard the table next to us complain about the wait. They asked for an update on their food status a few times and also had to ask for the check with how slow it was going. Second reason i am docking this place is their menu is a little misleading. A lot of stuff is labeled GF but it's really not as most of it shares a fryer with gluten stuff. Just be cautious of that if you are gluten free. Maybe it was an off night in the kitchen because it took longer than expected. The food was good enough to try this place again in the future, however. For now, have to give 3/5. read more

We went here for dinner when we came across a variety for Indian vegetarian. The place was cozy and comfortable. We ordered their specialty Blooming onion and turned out great. The tomato soup wasn't good and tasted bitter. The chowmein had an after taste and I assumed it was because of the oil used. The Indian breads were phenomenal but the main course was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this place for Indian vegetarian cuisine. read more

I am not sure how tuis restaurant has so many good reviews. Definitely was not worth it. I tried kadhai paneer - way too oily. Removed 3 spoons of oil before eating Lachha paratha - very rough and had no layers. Disappointing Garlic naan - okayish read more
Recently was in the area tk grab lunch ar Spice Room. We decided to get the Thali since we wanted to try multiple things and that option gives many things to try. So glad we did because the dal soup was amazing and the potatoes had so much flavor! The service was great and we would definitely eat here again. Such a great blend of spices, warmth and community in this spot! read more
Very flavorful! Our server Angela was amazing as she was very attentive and gave her recommendations as there are so many amazing options on the menu. The tandoori chicken was tender and spiced perfectly. The palak paneer went really well with a side of Roti. Restaurant is clean and also pretty big. It was a bit hard to find street parking as their small parking lot was full at the time. Also, I recommend to make a reservation since they can become pretty busy during dinner hours. read more
We were in town on vacation when I was able to locate a friend who lives in the Denver area and invite him to dinner. We asked him to find a restaurant for us. He suggested Indian food at Spice Room. The reviews complained about parking. Indeed, we found no spots in the parking lot (which only parks about ten cars), but we got lucky and found a spot perilously close to a fire hydrant. THEN, as we were getting out of the car, my wife spotted a car leaving the parking lot! We started up the car and moved into the vacated spot. The food is great. I'm a big fan of tandoori chicken, so I ordered that. It was tasty and too much for me to finish. My friend ordered the same and didn't finish his, either. (I don't recall what my wife ordered.) If I had to complain about something, it would be the 1-5 spice scale. I ordered my food at a 2 and barely tasted the heat. (In contrast, I ordered food at another Indian restaurant earlier in the week and a 3 was too hot to handle.) It's a big restaurant, not at all in proportion to the available parking. It can seat groups; I'm just not sure everyone will get a parking spot. read more

Came here cause I've had it before and loved it the last time I was in Denver. Food was and still is great. This time I went an hour before closing so it was much more packed but we were seated right away and food was pretty quick to come. We had blooming onions, vegetable samosas and curry chicken. The food was all delicious and the right amount of spicy for me. Service was great until towards the end, it felt a little dismissive. It was weird since it was close to closing, it was like I had to wave down to get attention towards the end. At the end I had a different person close me out. I still recommend this place however. Highly! read more
