Frustrated that Verizon does not carry Ch5 out of Toronto as I am a long time fan of Hockey Night…read morein Canada & enjoy watching Canadian news. Tried an indoor antenna with a 50 mile radius without success.Went on line for outdoor antennas & WNYCable came up. Spoke with Paul Wright who is personable & informative. During a 40 minute telephone conversation, Paul explained & broke down high tech terms to inform me why the indoor system would not work & told me that my house is 53.7 miles from the Ch5 signal on the CN Tower. Described in great detail the advantages of an outdoor system I decided to go with WNYCable as the price was fair & Paul installed it in a couple of days. The picture I receive on Ch5 is outstanding, almost appears 3-D, much better than any channel I receive on Verizon. There are also numerous other channels that are of high quality. Would strongly recommend Paul & WNYCable to anyone seeking TV reception from an outdoor antenna.WNYCable also provides a variety of other services in communication technology.

Thanks to WNYCable, THANK YOU! We moved a while ago and had to get TWC. A few weeks ago I saw an ad in the Bee newspaper about "cutting the cord" from WNYCable, I checked their website, saw they had a special going, so I called them. The person I spoke with seemed extremely knowledgeable and I set up an appointment to talk. I was tired of paying over $150.00 a month for TV. Hundreds of channels and we only watch about 6 or 7 of them it's just nuts. I need the internet for work, kids need it for school, I mean who doesn't use the internet but why do I have to pay for all the channels I never watch? Wnycable did a quick site survey and explained all my options, costs and savings, no pressure, just information. I watch A&E, TBS, TNT, ESPN, History and CNN for news and Showtime for the movies and original shows. My wife likes Lifetime, Food Network, Travel Channel and HGTV. The kids watch Disney and Cartoon. We found out we could get those channels and a few other nice ones like Bloomberg, Adult Swim, IFC and AMC, (Breaking Bad right?) for just $20.00 a month with my internet connection. That's it! Twenty bucks, no other charges for what we like to watch. Other channel packages are available for $5.00 per month. We purchased a system from them and a Roku from the Wnycable website and that was it. Wnycable set up everything, it was very simple. We are all big hockey fans here so we also got the system for the Canadian channels too, HELLO Hockey Night in Canada in REAL HDTV! It looks like the players are in my living room. I don't know why but the system they installed has the best HDTV I've ever seen, TWC never looked this good. The guy said it was something to do with them smashing 3 channels in where only 2 should be and it's not true HD with the others even though you pay for it. Whatever it is, it's better, a lot better. We added Showtime for about 11 bucks and the whole system is amazing. Almost like an added bonus we also get hundreds of free streaming channels on our Roku, movies, news, sports, everything. I found a bunch of free movie channels and watched Rollerball the other night with James Caan, it was great and it was free. I actually get more now and pay a lot less for it. All I kept from TWC was the internet and that cost about $40.00. $20.00 for the basic channels on my Roku, $11.00 for Showtime and I cut the cord. Now I save over $84.00 a month, that's more than $1000.00 a year. Yeah, life is good.

Amazing customer service at this location…read more Corporate cusomer service 0/0. LOCATION: Paula and later on Jamie (i believe) were absolutely wonderful! Yesterday I was there to upgrade 3 cell phones and start one new cell plan. Whoever thought the mirror thing to confirm if there was damage to the old phones is a complete idiot. 45 minutes for 3 phones because it kept getting errors! What is wrong with trusting your employees eyes to confirm there is no damage to the trade ins? Why waste your customers and employees time? Paula was apologizing for something that wasn't her fault. Then, the 4th phone was flagged as fraud because there were already 3 transactions done. Are you kidding me! So Paula offered to hold the phone so i could go home and call 611 to try to get the fraud removed which they guessed would take about a day or 2. Again, both apologizing for corporate policies! CORPORATE: Now, here is where I get pissed. Short version. Call 611, Get transferred to fraud. Fraud tells me it's not really a fraud just a flag that I would need to order the 4th phone online and have it shipped (FROM THE STORE THAT I WAS LITERALLY AT 30 MINUTES BEFORE!) or sales and order over the phone! WTF!? I asked if someone could just remove the flag and i could go to the store and just buy the phone instead. No. Is there a other department that could help? No. Wow, thanks for nothing. I said if I go to the store Monday to get the phone will it still be flagged? Hmm, I don't know, maybe, maybe not. Awesome. So helpful. After fuming, I order the phone online. Now, knowing Paula is holding the last remaining model for us I try to find a number to the store. No luck (that is annoying btw). Call 611 again (because they were so helpful the other time...) ask if I could be connected directly to the store I was dealing with to let them know I made the purchase online and about the phone being held, in case Paula wasn't there Sunday or Monday. Nope, and was told they would figure it out. Really. So, back in the car to drive back to the store. Thankfully Jamie was still there and I explained that I ordered it and he said he would take care of the hold and let Paula know. He again apologized. The in-store employees that I dealt with were incredible. The corporate employees are useless and the policy with the mirror and having no way to directly contact the reps in the store is a waste of time for the customers. So my whole ordeal wasted an entire afternoon.

I got an amazing deal on my Internet and phone service. Thanks to Daniel in Albany, New York.read more

He said my bill would go down by $30.00/mo if I changed autopay to my checking account. The iPad was free. My bill went up by $53.00/mo. I called AT&T, they refused to help. I called the store. The manager groaned and said oh he meant the iPad would be free because you would get $30 off with autopay so your bill won't go up. It's not free. The service is $21.99 per month plus the payments for the $500.00 iPad. This is blatant bait and switch and fraud. Stay away from this store and AT&T. They are scammers

We have been to other smaller stores out of a mall, but each time we were welcomed and told of a wait. Most times were 45 minutes or longer. So we came to our normal store at the galleria mall. Well we were not greeted but we noticed 2 reps working with customers and another table full just waiting. We asked them if they took names, so we started looking at phones. Well a customer was finished and took the table that were sitting there waiting. No big deal. Then a few more people were looking around and we would have thought we would have been next...but the next available rep went to another customer. So we asked him were they here earlier because we were next. Thank god the customer did notice that we were there before them...other wise we may have waited over an hour to purchase a phone. Well the representative not even sure of his name waited on us, we had a few questions about our billing and he told us to call over the phone...so they were there to sell not about fixing our billing issues. I really didn't want to purchase the phone walk out and cancel at this point. But of course they got you with contracts. So we got the phone, with not much help, didn't even advise us what would be good. Got our phone, gave us what we asked for, told us he couldn't move any contacts or photos because they wouldn't move over. But said we could keep the old phone to move ourselves. This probably was the worst service we had ever at AT&T. I will be calling about my billing issue this weekend because they would not help me at the store. Poor customer service, maybe it was because we called him out in front of another customer, but we were there way before the other customer and it was only fair after waiting almost 40 minutes but wanted to take care of someone that just walked into the store. They need to get their act together and take care of everyone to the fullest.
