Tuesday, she was redeeming her receipt for cash on the Fetch app and noticed she was charged for a Mum we didnt buy. She called and spoke with Meg (I believe) and Meg was great! She said there are times when they use the register for a price check and forget to cancel it out. She apologized a few times and was able to credit her credit card right back, no questions asked. The quote was adjusted down! Said it was a quick easy repair, and because they were not there when they said they would be, would not charge me full price. But during the initial quote they said if it was easy repair, he would not charge me full price...having said all that Item was repaired sucessfully, and in a timely manner. Going into JTG was quite a different experience from previous iPhone problems providers I have tried. No appointment , no signing in and then waiting in a mall until called, service reps that used lingo, I could not understand or not having the ability to discuss with me the problems I was having with my phone without dismissing what I was saying or showing their impatience and annoyance when dealing a person who had computer limitations. Dave who ended up working on my iPhone was friendly, patient, informative and knowledgeable. My phone did not get fixed because Microsoft needs time to update some of my Info but Dave set that up for me to get done and then the rest of the repairs can be done. I walked out of there feeling good and relieved that I have a great place to go back with any other computer type problems and know they will be dealt with quickly and honestly. JTD System policy is that if you bring something in and they are not able to fix it, the customer does not pay. What a great way to run a business!

I was told by a friend that Transitown did them and has the red color paint to match the Louboutin red bottoms so that they look nice. I've brought 3 pairs there so far and they have done a pretty good job. My problem with this place is that they seem to always jack up the prices when it's a pair of expensive shoes. I know they jack up the prices for Louboutins, because they require a special color etc., that's fine. But when I have brought other shoes there to get the rubber bottoms put on - I would get one price over the phone (because i intentionally do not say what brand they are, i simply describe them as black leather flats, or purple leather wedges etc). The first time I questioned it, they explained it away that since they were louboutins, they cost more because of the special paint etc. OK... fine. The second time I questioned it, they said that whoever took in my order misquoted me, hmmm ok. Well, last week I took 3 pairs of shoes there (a pair of Chanel flats, a pair of Louis Vuitton pumps, and a pair of Ferragamo wedges). I called ahead to get a quote, and was quoted $30/pair for the rubber bottoms (black and nude, no special colors), with $10 for waterproofing. So I figure, $90 for the vibram/rubber bottoms, and $20 for waterproofing since only 2 pairs needed waterproofing. So it should have been $110 total. But nope, when I showed up today I was charged $130. I just paid without questioning anything and left. 3 strikes and they're OUT. I would rather ship my shoes somewhere else and know the costs up front.

Womp womp womp. I was a little skeptical to drop off my husband's suit here just based on the not…read moreso hot yelp rating. I ended up dropping it off anyway because we were recommended by a family friend. Originally, the woman at the counter said that they would not be able to have to suit done until Monday. I mentioned that I needed it for tomorrow and she went in the back to check with the cleaners, and then she came back out and guaranteed that it'd be done by 5pm today. To give them a little extra time, I stopped in around 5:50pm to pick up my items. The girls at the counter were very friendly. However, on the suit jacket and the dress shirt were ready and they told me the pants wouldn't be ready until Monday because all of the cleaners went home early. I'm not too sure why all the cleaners would go home early without all of the orders being done. Also, there was no manger on staff for me to speak with to resolve the issue. So, I asked for the pants back at least so that I could wash and press them at home. The girls couldn't find the pants... so I had to wait nearly a half hour before they could find them. When I asked if I could get a refund on the pants because they weren't complete, the girl mentioned that only managers are able to provide refunds. The only upside of my visit was that the staff was friendly and respectful. Unfortunately, the cleaners simply weren't efficient.
