Had to bring my phone into Verizon the other day after it kept losing calls. I was naturally nervous about what the results would be. How much would this cost? Do I need a new phone? Well to my surprise it was a great visit. I was greeted warmly at the door. Then found out i just needed a new SIM card. It was a quick switch and best of all, no charge. When I am shopping for a new phone I want to see it and physically touch it before I make any decisions, not just blindly buy it online. I was in this location to have one of our phones looked at because it was doing weird things. I took the opportunity to look at the new phones available. I was interested to see the new Samsung phone with a folding screen. It comes in a full size model and a half size (are you ready for this) flip phone model. The full size one opened like a book into a huge square tablet. The flip phone opened upwards to a more normal size phone. This is not a review for the phones but I just can't see a long life for the folding screens. As for the customer service in the store, it was professional and without pressure to buy anything or change phone plans. When I'm ready a will go back to this location to buy. read more

I've had FOUR scheduled internet service appointments, 1st they no call/no showed, 2nd they cancelled, 3rd cancelled again (both cancelations well after the appointment slot), 4th NO CALLED/NO SHOWED AGAIN! FOUR DAYS I've had to plan around, FOUR DAYS I've had to find someone to pickup or drop my kid off to school, FOUR DAYS of my life put on hold to sit around and wait for them. The "internet" service I actually pay for is so non-existent, I use my cellular data to create a hotspot any time I have to rely on a decent connection. This has SEVERELY impacted the work I have to do from home, and they can't even be bothered to give me a heads up when they're not coming. I'm astounded by their borderline CRIMINAL service. read more

I'd rather have, like U2 said, "No Line On The Verizon", because they're soooooooo expensive. I'd probably give Verizon a 2 because they have such great service (as in, my phone works everywhere), but I have to knock them down to 1 because of the service (as in, I was treated like crap in here). Then again I received a lovely response from Amber on Yelp so I'm raising it to 2 right away and we'll see how things go. The guy in question... I won't even go into it. He's an older guy, whereas most of the employees are young. He's absolutely awful, whereas most of them are pretty decent to their customers. You'll know exactly who he is from the way he talks to people. Even if you're lucky enough not to "get him", wait until you hear the kinds of things he says and the tone in which he speaks to customers. Other complaints: (1) They charge obscene amounts for all services once they get you roped in (2) They're very unwilling to be reasonable (3) They tell you one thing one day, then a week later they say it never happened - get everything in writing (4) Cancellations are obscenely overpriced so you're "stuck" Despite all of this, they're better than a lot of the rivals just because the actual service you get is excellent. But in no universe would I ever give them any more than a 2 because they are extortion artists, and "that guy" who makes you feel like the biggest burden to the company and the branch in Verizon history... is the reason they get a 1 instead of a 2. read more

Internet and tv is good, however service is tough. Plan on spending at least an hour on hold. Forget the online attempt to get help.Waste of time. Once you finally get someone to help you they are good but wait times are truly ridiculous. They blame reduced covid hours but most of the call people are working from home in the Philippines. I have had an exasperating problem with canceling phone service with Verizon for my husband who resides in a nursing home.This has been ongoing entire month of October and now into November He's not well enough to do it himself. it seemed first problem was that I didn't know exact date it was installed but eventually found the credit bill stating when service started after going through enormous amount of personal papers. After giving them that info I have been NOW told I need to supply a PIN number I have called from my home phone, willing to give them all pertinent info they might need but they are still stonewalling me about canceling this account for him. I have advised my credit card to NOT PAY this bill Verizon insists they are doing this for security reasons I feel they just want to keep creating obstacles so I'll just keep paying. If read more

Best Verizon store in Western Ny! It was time to upgrade my phone, and I use to go to the Verizon on Walden in Cheektowaga. The staff there is just rude and helpless, but I just figured I'll suck it up and go to Walden because it close by. Well, they didn't have the new Droid Razor phone, so they directed me to the store on Transit. I received the service from Kyle. He seemed very informative and he was extremely nice. He didn't rush me and explained the whole upgrade and how the phone works. He even took it upon himself to apply the cover shield on my phone, without asking. On top of that the staff there was geniunely nice. As long as I'm with verizon, I will ONLY go to that store. P.S. The Droid is ehh... O'k, but the service there was awesome! read more

Exceptional service on the day we were here. You first walk in and if you look lost enough, someone usually comes to your rescue. We were being helped by someone in a matter of seconds. The sales associate, Chrissy, was able to troubleshoot our number of phone-related problems, as well as find a solution that another associate may have overlooked or simply not have offered. I really appreciated her perseverance in solving my problem. read more

Dreadful service. My elderly parents have ordered movies by mistake and I called to set up controls so it wouldn't happen, but within a few days there is a charge for another movie that was not intentionally ordered. During the call where I set up these controls, I also spoke to their phone rep about a problem where the picture would go back to standard definition and that I had rebooted the system 3 times in 2 days and sometimes it fixed the problem and sometimes not. The system would not let me change the TV type to 1080 for some unknown reason. The rep did something over the phone to fix this issue but the fix lasted only 2 or 3 days. I find their guide difficult to use for me and impossible for my parents. Also their internet service doesn't work well and you have to be very close to the router or it is impossibly slow. This happens even though the computer indicates a very strong connection I will be wasting more time tomorrow to have the charge for this other on demand movie reversed and request a fix for the picture issue. I may have to switch my parents back to Spectrum even though I dislike Spectrum as well, especially the way they offer great prices for new customers and then charge huge increases after the first year to reward your loyalty. And I love the way 30 minute programs are often extended to 32 to 38 minutes so we can be assaulted with more commercials! read more

The fact that this location has a pay station so you can pay cash is really neat and they are always super friendly asking if you need help. The pay station is in the back left corner of the store from the door and you can also pay a fios bill if need be read more

We were totally ripped off at this store! Salesman "gave" us a tablet absolutely free(his words)as a thank you for our purchase of 2 IPhones . We subsequently get billed $20.00 a month for data as part of the 2 year contract. The tablet is still in the box. We have IPads which the salesman was well aware of. When asked if we wanted a service protection contract on the two phones we declined. This too he included and we are charged monthly for this as well. We complained to the store and we were basically told sorry but nothing we can do. Verizon wireless is a third party retailer of smart phones not owned by Verizon itself. Note the two year contract is very lengthly designed to confuse and hide the true cost. Will never buy from then again and would advise others do the same. Would really like to talk to a higher up for this bogus company. I may actually stand outside their Transit road store to dissuade others. We're seniors so I guess easy prey. Sad read more

"Talk" about fabulous customer service. This Verizon has been my go-to wireless provider for years; always a good experience. Chrissy was our most accommodating associate for the business we went there for. She answered all our questions and figured out the issue one of us had with our phone, even going out of her way to make sure that a fair resolution was reached before departing. Since it was uncrowded, I ended up upgrading with ease and with all accessories installed or applied, as the case was. Let's face it, phone problems and phone shopping are right up there with refrigerators and tires, at least for me; they're just something you gotta have yet might rather do anything else than shop for them. So as these things go, it was a most pleasant experience and I would highly recommend a stop at this particular Verizon Wireless store the next time you are having a phone issue or needing assistance in selecting anything wireless related. cannot use wi-fi burglar alarm or thermostat because Verizon's internet connection is so unreliable. the modem must be re started at least once a week, and if we are away the poor unstable connection causes any wi fi devices to stop working. this has been going on for 2 years .with 5 call outs that did nothing. also i pay for high speed internet and get slow speeds,,and FIOS is not available in this city, and having a monopoly as they do, verizon has said they never will have FIOS here, just in the suburbs, we need competition,, and real service read more

All in all, the Fios service is good, although expensive. The package they offer to existing customers is certainly a less value than for new customers, and the process to negotiate renewal is painful. Once I finally worked out a 24 month renewal package, they promised me a $100 gift card to renew. After waiting patiently for a couple of months to receive the gift card, I decided to use the chat feature on their site to check on status. After a long pause, I was told the gift card was not part of the deal. In response, I sent a transcript of the original chat to customer service. Even though the transcript of that chat clearly included the gift card, I have yet to see the card. Or a response. I am now looking into cable for new service, as the dishonest treatment thru the chat service is a joke. read more

Everyone was super helpful and amazing. I spilled water on my phone and thought it was a goner. But this location had a redux machine which revived my phone after being dead for 12 hours! I spoke with a representative who guaranteed my bill would remain at $149.32 for two years if I locked in that rate now. I did. Now after just two months the bill goes up again. I call. Now I'm told that that was just the bundle rate that doesn't go up. That's not what I was told. Why would I lock in a rate if the price could go up for any reason. That defeats the purpose. I would have given then zero stars if possible! We brought a phone in for problems with charging. My fiancee is missing a few front teeth related to a hereditary dental disease as well as a few disabilities and the employees judged him and treated him like a bum. The employee Gregory was nasty and disrespectful to him and I from the beginning. The manager Melissa became involved and was even more rude! My fiancee had walked away because he knew he was getting upset and I stayed to talk to the manager Melissa. I was polite and respectful and asking questions calmly to understand was wrong and how to fix the problem. I asked her if she could understand why we were frustrated with the situation. "No" was her only response. She showed no compassion or empathy. She even began to raise her voice at me until Gregory stepped in!!
