I typed this review some time ago and hesitated on whether or not I would post it. Specifically because I was curious in working at apple for a side job but I have to always be honest about my experiences. Just like a game of spades after a few good hands your destined for something bad. My luck with the apple store is truly not any different at all. About 2 years ago I had a really terrible experience that was ultimately handled positively. From that point I've had consistently positive experiences with apple. Well that was until this month. On October 1, 2022 I came into the apple store looking to get my horribly cracked phone repaired. I came in at approximately 6:25 without an appointment. Lucky for me they were able to get me in for an appointment for 7:35. I was told to come up to the front and remind them so that they don't forget about me. Context my phone was cracked on the front and back so I was pretty confident they would probably have to repair my phone. Update they ran diagnostics and determined my phone would need to be replaced. They gave me a replacement phone. The person I worked with literally just handed me the phone and said I was all set and walked off. I started to try and enter my information and then quickly discovered that the phone was locked. It took was truly felt like forever for them to figure out what the passcode was. I know what you're probably wondering well surely they went ahead and activated the phone for you but of course they didn't. I had to leave and go upstairs to T-Mobile for them to activate my phone. When I got upstairs they weren't able to activate the phone. We contacted several customer service support agents with no luck at all. Only for T-Mobile to tell me that apple gave me a lock device. At this point I needed to go back downstairs to the Apple Store where I would wait even longer only for them to give me a new loaner. At this point the phone was unlocked so that was a plus the negative is that it took them so long I couldn't go to T-Mobile to get it activated. So after several hours later and a couple phones later I left with a device that didn't work for certain but eventually it would. Yay me. read more

We are an Apple family, that's a good thing an d a bad thing only because Apple is not cheap. During Covid we needed to buy our daughter a computer for school. We priced them out online and of course they get you with updates. We didn't realize till the following day they charged us $100 more than online. But by the time we could go back the online price changed so we didn't get the match price. My only suggestion is if you see a price online print it and bring it with you. I had to come here a few months ago for a phone replacement. Their Covid protocols are great. But they really dont help like they used to. Maybe they have modified again and are better. But I went and it was "here's your phone, now get out". Not the usual "make sure it works" etc. I didn't like that AT ALL. So I've knocked odd a few stars. Recently went here because T-Mobile referred me for more phone options. We probably encountered about every possible issue getting a new phone set up, but Ray was knowledgeable and persistent. I have been to this store on many occasions and the service is always good. Would highly recommend. read more

My first time in the apple store! Made an appointment online which was great because everyone walking in were getting told there was a 2 hour wait. Was very busy inside the store as always. I was trying to get an IPAD charging port fix. They was going to order me a replacement IPAD, but I was not going to pay triple the price I paid for my IPAD originally. I brought in my laptop for help with OS installation. Long story short, when I came back after (as directed) taking a walk for about an hour, said laptop was open on the public table with cretins and their BEVERAGES hanging around my keyboard. I gathered it up and left. Throughout, the Apple rep who was helping me kept obnoxiously exclaiming about how "people drive for hours to come see me." I related this experience a week later to an Apple rep in NYC who was shocked. He said it is against Apple policy for a rep to say anything like what I was told to do, i.e., leave the laptop out in the open like that. (Wound up buying a new laptop from that rep as he was honest and intelligent.) As it's the only Apple Store in the WNY area, I guess a lot of people are stuck with it and that is too bad. read more

Normally, coming to the Apple store is the closest thing to being in a ant farm. So many people actively keeping busy checking out new phones, tablets and other gadgets. But now during covid, it's so scaled back, you would think they are going out of business. You always had to make an appointment, for any type of service. They are doing a great job enforcing social distancing, and they are on top of things as regard to sanitizing. As busy as it use to be (pre-covid), for a person like myself. That avoids going to the store, and rather do things online. I have no problem coming here, and taking care of my business. read more

Where do you even begin with this location? Apple sells an amazing product And I will probably always have an iPhone. However I will never again succumb my time to the Apple Store at Walden Galleria. Today my hubby & myself had an appointment at the Apple store in Walden Galleria. We got extremely lucky with our technician, Wade. He is amazing!!! He walked & talked us thru everything there was to know about repairing my existing phone vs upgrading. Helped me w ICloud back up & saved us money as we could have put money into old phone via battery & screen protector BUT He explained that it would have been a temporary fix. I got into a new phone, he transferred everything & was patient as I am not the smartest when it comes to new technology. He made an expensive purchase a wonderful experience! No pressure just Love. I had a very difficult situation with my iPhone and they were very helpful and understanding. Specifically, the apple genius named Tina helped me immensely. She was extremely patient and kind to me. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I really appreciated how she walked me through every step of the process. She also thoroughly explained what they were doing to help with my phone which gave me a better understanding of my iPhone. I highly recommend Tina for her amazing service and intelligence!! read more

The worst customer service!! Mark the Team Leader stands at the front of the store like the Gestapo, "you must wear a mask or leave". Vaccinated or not or I will call mall security!! No greeting, no welcome to the store, nothing even remotely friendly. I will never go that store again! I can't say much for their onsite approach to Customer Service. I visited the store to purchase one item, a USB-to-Lightning adapter. Upon entering, I was greeted by an Apple employee, who asked how he could help me. I indicated my need, and was directed to wait for assistance at a particular table, where three other customers already stood. After a few minutes, I retrieved the adapter from the shelf, and returned to the table. As I waited to purchase the item, I couldn't help but overhear conversations between other customers at the table and Apple employees who had been assigned to them, and I realized that these other customers had relatively complex issues. I waited a few more minutes, saw a few "greeters" staring at the door, waiting for customers, and walked over to one. I asked if she - or someone else who was similarly not working with a customer - could enable me to purchase the item. She said that she couldn't, because she was assigned to "check-in", and that I can wait at the Express table (where I had been standing). [That's also when the definition of the word "Express" expanded into unknown territory for me]. About 10 minutes later, someone came over, and thanked me for being so patient. I don't know if it was intended sarcasm, but I ignored it, and asked "shouldn't a customer who's already in the store, and ready to purchase your product, take higher priority than someone who *might* walk in, and *might* purchase something?" I don't blame the guy who walked over, or the woman who wasn't allowed to stop staring at the door, but I couldn't understand how a few Apple workers could stare at a door, waiting for potential customers, when a customer already inside the store is ready to purchase. From an efficiency perspective, it doesn't seem like the resources are being leveraged remotely as well as they could be. If I wanted to purchase 10 laptops instead of 1 adapter, would those "check-in" people continue to stare at the door, or would they leave their post to facilitate the purchase? I think that part of the problem is that Apple is now so big that individual purchases have become afterthoughts. In any case, my experience at the Galleria location fell short of expectations. read more

The best...Great quality and very nice and if u are buying a product form them like iPhone,iMac,Ect they will set it up for u and get I in and out in about 10 minutes or less. They will also fix your apple product for less money or sometimes for free than would any other store would. Why don't you stay a while? They have wifi to.Hungry? Well your in a mall so why don't you bring the food you ordered into the store and just chill a little while? You can also come in to just go on wifi or hang out with friends. I'd leave this Apple a zero if I could. I've never been so disappointed in customer service before in my life. Especially! From a company as large as this and to customers who have only purchased Apple their entire life. We brought my boyfriends phone into be repaired however were refused after waiting two hours. We replaced the battery and because we did were turned down, even though we were willing to pay because it was out of warranty. We followed up the second day and came in "too early for the appointment" and I wouldn't be able to to just drop it off ahead of time for an apointment and pick it up the next day, and the employee stated it was too much of a liability. He also made a personal comment based on my boyfriends work uniform and said "we can't do the appointments until their scheduled time Much like you cannot at your shop". Excuse me? We walked out infuriated, we will not be returning and will consider alternative cell phone providers in the further.
