Just horrible customer service- arrogant employees- I ordered a simple $20 cable for my phone - paid for it in advance... it was almost two hours and still no notification it was ready ... went by the store on my way home and went in ... they would not give me my cable - told me to sign in - 12 people ahead of me.. I did then I thought WTF... I'm not waiting any longer . Went to my car, called Verizon while sitting in their parking lot and cancelled my order.... This Openbank promotion is a scam!!!!I joined Openbank on May 27, 2025 and I have still not received my five dollars off per phone for the thousand dollar deposit I put in. This is the 7th month that I have had to call questioning where is my discount. I've had to call the last four months to Verizon and each time they tell me it's all set. It takes over a hour on the phone each time. Verizon doesn't inform their representatives about their promotions. I called angain the end of October and they don't even know what Openbank is. Hello, I signed up for Verizon business two years ago. It has been a nightmare. You can NEVER get customer service because the res for business are during business hours! I spent 26 hours either at or on phone to fix problems in 2022. In 20/3 I spent another 16 hours and my employee paid four hours! And the problem with router still exists! Regardless each month I pay $80 though it cannot be used. I moved my phones to personal and owe now tom's of money because you get NO HELP AT ALL on business accounts. It is the most theft of service I've ever experienced and worst service ever too. You have been warned! read more

The employees here are awesome. This is my go-to spot for any phone-related business I need it. So I'm on my father's cell service plan, and we have been for a couple of years now - he used to get a good deal through his work service plan, but we recently switched to another plan that isn't supported by his work. But, we're now getting unlimited data (we use so much of it between myself, father, and brother so it was necessary), and we have to make payments on our phones. Going back to when we had our old plan (getting good, cheap deals on phones and having a set amount of data we could use each month), I got a refurbished iPhone 5 (my first iPhone, ahh the memories) for a pretty good price. Within about a week or so, the camera just stopped working, so I brought it to this store. I explained my situation to them right away, and they immediately took me in to check my phone out. This was a few years ago, so I don't really remember what was done exactly, but since my phone was under warranty and it was under 30 days of me having the phone, they offered to just replace the phone entirely. They ordered a new one on the spot for me, it mailed in under 2 days and I enjoyed an iPhone 6 for a couple of years! Flash forward to my most recent visit - that very same iPhone 6 had seen better days, and my dad suggested we just go and get new phones (he needed to replace the one he just bought, since it wasn't very good for pictures/video). We were helped immediately after walking in, and we explained exactly what we were looking for to the man who was helping us. He was very helpful in describing the iPhone models they had, plus recommending my dad try a Google Pixel phone if he wanted to take fantastic pictures. It didn't take very long for us to upgrade our devices on site - I think we were only there for a little over half an hour. But all of our needs and wants for our phones were easily communicated to the Verizon employee who was helping us, and he was very thorough in explaining our package options, updating our devices, and setting up our new phones. We both walked out of there with brand new phones, plus some accessories. This Verizon store is definitely my favorite in the area, and I know I'll be returning whenever I need some assistance with my cell service! read more

I ordered AirPods Pro via the Verizon app on Tuesday. They came in the mail on Thursday. The ear buds come charged and can be recharged in the charging case. The charging case loses power each time you charge the earbuds in them. I don't have a wireless charger or a computer to charge my AirPods case. Well, the support tech via the Verizon app suggested that I make an appointment at the closest store that's currently open. I'm so glad she did. I had such awesome customer service. Everyone had to wait outside, six feet apart. It was such a beautiful day though so I wasn't bothered by that. The tech employee came to the door and helped one person at a time. Only one customer at a time was allowed in the store, if you had to/were allowed to enter. I told him my issue and he brought out a USB-C wall adapter that I could connect my charging case into. I mentioned that my phone charger that I bought from another Verizon store last summer or fall wasn't working well and that I had to plug it in three or four times for it to start charging my phone. He said their chargers are under a one year warranty. He looked me up in the system and gave me a new charger for free. Oddly enough, there was a security guard at the door but he said that they have had issues since the pandemic started. I'm so happy that my issues were resolved so quickly and efficiently. I recommend this location 100% and will definitely return. read more

In Oct 2022, I attempted to sign up online, to get free activation, but I had to place my order by phone after an error message provided a number to call it in. I was assured that the 5 activation fees would be refunded by the next billing cycle. After many hours online & by phone, I finally received the credit in April 2023. But I still haven't received $720 in rebates. And after more countless hours, I couldn't deal w Verizon's incompetence anymore. So in July 2023, my daughter took over & she's been thru the same bs, providing the same info every time and every time an agent would assure her that the credit would be issued within 2 billing cycles. So I went to a Verizon corporate store today & after explaining the situation to an agent, I had to wait another 15 minutes while a manager was filled in, who then sits down across from me & asks what my problem wasAfter I explained it again, the manager claimed that I already received one credit in April 2023, when I tried to explain that it was for the 5 activation fees, the manager insisted it didn't add up to the $200 credit & claimed she couldn't provide further details of the credit bc the record wasn't accessible. When I pointed out that $35+NY state fees x 5 = $200, she said that they couldn't help me anyways bc I prev mentioned to the agent that if they couldn't solve my issue, I would have no choice but to file a complaint w the NYS attorney general's division of consumer affairs. read more

Horrible experience in this store! My friends suggested Verizon many times to me, so I am trying to switch from T-mobile to verizon. I saw a $100 off code to smartphones from VZ website and loved to use it in a local store. I went to the store and the salesman was very happy when I told I want to buy a smartphone. When I try to pay and wanted to apply the $100 off code, the manager suddenly said they need to run a credit check. I am OK with it, since I have a good credit score. however, they transferred my case to the fraud department and hold it for one week even I showed them my drivers license, social security card etc. I am a new customer and never owe any bills to VZ. I don't understand why they transfer it to fraud department. They told me I should be clear in 2 days. However, after 2 days I went to the store again, the manager told me verizon will call me for my credit result. I don't believe verizon will deal with every new customer the same way: Happy with full price purchase, unhappy with $100 off coupon code. I called the customer service, and the representative was also surprised that they have a credit team in the store who should tell me my credit result in the store immediately. I went to another local store next week, and used the same code there without any harassment. Will Never go to the store again, what the manager wants is only more money from customers! read more
