He said my bill would go down by $30.00/mo if I changed autopay to my checking account. The iPad was free. My bill went up by $53.00/mo. I called AT&T, they refused to help. I called the store. The manager groaned and said oh he meant the iPad would be free because you would get $30 off with autopay so your bill won't go up. It's not free. The service is $21.99 per month plus the payments for the $500.00 iPad. This is blatant bait and switch and fraud. Stay away from this store and AT&T. They are scammers

We have been to other smaller stores out of a mall, but each time we were welcomed and told of a wait. Most times were 45 minutes or longer. So we came to our normal store at the galleria mall. Well we were not greeted but we noticed 2 reps working with customers and another table full just waiting. We asked them if they took names, so we started looking at phones. Well a customer was finished and took the table that were sitting there waiting. No big deal. Then a few more people were looking around and we would have thought we would have been next...but the next available rep went to another customer. So we asked him were they here earlier because we were next. Thank god the customer did notice that we were there before them...other wise we may have waited over an hour to purchase a phone. Well the representative not even sure of his name waited on us, we had a few questions about our billing and he told us to call over the phone...so they were there to sell not about fixing our billing issues. I really didn't want to purchase the phone walk out and cancel at this point. But of course they got you with contracts. So we got the phone, with not much help, didn't even advise us what would be good. Got our phone, gave us what we asked for, told us he couldn't move any contacts or photos because they wouldn't move over. But said we could keep the old phone to move ourselves. This probably was the worst service we had ever at AT&T. I will be calling about my billing issue this weekend because they would not help me at the store. Poor customer service, maybe it was because we called him out in front of another customer, but we were there way before the other customer and it was only fair after waiting almost 40 minutes but wanted to take care of someone that just walked into the store. They need to get their act together and take care of everyone to the fullest.

The employees here are awesome. This is my go-to spot for any phone-related business I need it…read more So I'm on my father's cell service plan, and we have been for a couple of years now - he used to get a good deal through his work service plan, but we recently switched to another plan that isn't supported by his work. But, we're now getting unlimited data (we use so much of it between myself, father, and brother so it was necessary), and we have to make payments on our phones. Going back to when we had our old plan (getting good, cheap deals on phones and having a set amount of data we could use each month), I got a refurbished iPhone 5 (my first iPhone, ahh the memories) for a pretty good price. Within about a week or so, the camera just stopped working, so I brought it to this store. I explained my situation to them right away, and they immediately took me in to check my phone out. This was a few years ago, so I don't really remember what was done exactly, but since my phone was under warranty and it was under 30 days of me having the phone, they offered to just replace the phone entirely. They ordered a new one on the spot for me, it mailed in under 2 days and I enjoyed an iPhone 6 for a couple of years! Flash forward to my most recent visit - that very same iPhone 6 had seen better days, and my dad suggested we just go and get new phones (he needed to replace the one he just bought, since it wasn't very good for pictures/video). We were helped immediately after walking in, and we explained exactly what we were looking for to the man who was helping us. He was very helpful in describing the iPhone models they had, plus recommending my dad try a Google Pixel phone if he wanted to take fantastic pictures. It didn't take very long for us to upgrade our devices on site - I think we were only there for a little over half an hour. But all of our needs and wants for our phones were easily communicated to the Verizon employee who was helping us, and he was very thorough in explaining our package options, updating our devices, and setting up our new phones. We both walked out of there with brand new phones, plus some accessories. This Verizon store is definitely my favorite in the area, and I know I'll be returning whenever I need some assistance with my cell service!

I did then I thought WTF... I'm not waiting any longer . Went to my car, called Verizon while sitting in their parking lot and cancelled my order.... Just ridiculous that you have to jump through hoops to get something you already paid for.

Got two SIM cards. One worked dandy. The other did not, despite multiple calls to tech support…read more 6.5 weeks later: "We have not heard back about whether it's posted, can't refund." So I called credit card company and told them to stop payment (THAT, by contrast, worked like a charm: 5 minutes and I was done). When it works, great, if not: caveat emptor. The best part is how every time you call the time required "by policy" to process a refund jumps by 2 weeks. First two, then 4, then six, now eight. Not making this up. AND, they have a web page where you can see that the card was not used,. My God. They were dumbfounded when I pointed out that MY policy involved not paying for things that did not work. It was amazing: no answer, just repeating that I had to wait another two weeks. Ahh, no. Here's the thing: what these folks do is buy SIM cards in bulk and resell. There is minimal ability to help out if things do not work. Now you know

After a call to their customer service they managed to get the service to work after 3 days. Well, I asked for a credit for the days that it didn't work, no answer. My credit card was charged for the next month, which I did not authorize. Just try to get someone on their customer services lines, there are at least 3 of them. They all go to the same recorded message. I stayed on the phone for almost an hour with no human answering. I called the credit card company to get my money back, still waiting. Don't get sucked in, I thought the idea was good but no customer service if things don't go right.

They're conveniently located right outside the JCP department store on the second floor, across the way. Everyone was very friendly both on the phone and in person. They also went over the repair agreement thoroughly, including the $75 diagnostic fee, which goes toward the cost of any repair. At first, I got a call saying the motherboard was completely damaged and likely beyond repair, which was disappointing. Then the next day, they called back and said they had spent more time looking into it and were actually able to fix it. The repair ended up costing an additional $150, but it was absolutely worth it. My kids' PS5 had stopped accepting discs, and now it's working again. They also advised against relying on random YouTube repair tutorials (oops), since DIY fixes can sometimes make the problem much worse (especially if you're clueless like me). Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back here again, although hopefully I won't need to anytime soon!

Over the course of the week it went from "am I imagining this" to "something's not working properly" & got worse from there. I didn't wanna be without a controller for a couple of months (the amount of time it'd take to ship it back to Scuf, have em fix it & send it back) so I brought it in to WeFix n Customize on Wednesday night to a gentleman named Donte (who seemed great) Kid tells me it sounds like the mouse-click trigger in the bumper has disconnected, but they have to take it apart to be sure & to do that, it costs $100 before any repair is done. He goes on to explain that within a couple of days, BEFORE THEY REPAIR ANYTHING, they'll give me a call, explain to me what they found, tell me how much it'll cost to fix & I can then decide if it's worth that amount to have it fixed. Said if it's just a connection issue, they may not even charge me. Tells me it could be anywhere from another $25 - $75 dollars, & absolute worst case scenario -- if the button is completely broken & they have a new one shipped from Scuf-- another $150 Keep in mind, I bought this controller 2-3 months ago for $220. It's never been dropped & it sits in its case. Spending $250 all-in to repair a single button WOULD NOT have been something I'd be willing to do. I ask if the repair is covered by a warranty, he tells me it is. So I pay the $100 & leave out. I think yall know what's coming... Saturday I get a phone call from Cameron at WeFix n Customize. Says he's my technician & much to my surprise, that I can come pick up my controller... for another $150 ($250 all-in) No phone call to tell me what they found out & see if I WANTED to have it fixed. He just fixed it & it'll be another $150 to be able to pick it up. Tells me he had to fix the R2 button - they (miraculously) "had one in the back" & says he "also had to fix one of the sticks on the back" (???) When I get to the store, I ask him to explain what he meant by "fixing one of the sticks on the back" -- he was talking about the removable paddles... But when I point out the fact they're just REMOVABLE paddles, he says "oh, I know" & insists he "didn't charge me for that anyway" ... I'm then informed that their computer is having issues & as a result, he's not able to ring me for the repair... he has to instead, ring me up as having a "cleaning".... (Suspicious, but whatever.) I ask him if that'll give me any problems if I have to come back for some reason. He tells me no... which reminds me to ask how long that warranty is good for... His response: "there isn't one, but we'd probably give you a discount if you needed it fixed again" .... As if I'd give another dollar to the literal scammers at this absolute chop shop shithole.

No empathy or compassion whatsoever. Finally I got him to discontinue the service. He said an email confirmation would be sent which I never received. The next day I was on the phone for 48 minutes trying to get an email confirmation. No one could do it. What a horrible company!
