After calling around to several places that could work on a PS5, this spot seemed like the best…read moreoption. They're conveniently located right outside the JCP department store on the second floor, across the way. Everyone was very friendly both on the phone and in person. They also went over the repair agreement thoroughly, including the $75 diagnostic fee, which goes toward the cost of any repair. At first, I got a call saying the motherboard was completely damaged and likely beyond repair, which was disappointing. Then the next day, they called back and said they had spent more time looking into it and were actually able to fix it. The repair ended up costing an additional $150, but it was absolutely worth it. My kids' PS5 had stopped accepting discs, and now it's working again. They also advised against relying on random YouTube repair tutorials (oops), since DIY fixes can sometimes make the problem much worse (especially if you're clueless like me). Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back here again, although hopefully I won't need to anytime soon!

TLDR; do NOT recommend. They're liars/scammers…read more The R2 button on my 2-3 month old Scuf controller wasn't responding to 90% of inputs. Over the course of the week it went from "am I imagining this" to "something's not working properly" & got worse from there. I didn't wanna be without a controller for a couple of months (the amount of time it'd take to ship it back to Scuf, have em fix it & send it back) so I brought it in to WeFix n Customize on Wednesday night to a gentleman named Donte (who seemed great) Kid tells me it sounds like the mouse-click trigger in the bumper has disconnected, but they have to take it apart to be sure & to do that, it costs $100 before any repair is done. He goes on to explain that within a couple of days, BEFORE THEY REPAIR ANYTHING, they'll give me a call, explain to me what they found, tell me how much it'll cost to fix & I can then decide if it's worth that amount to have it fixed. Said if it's just a connection issue, they may not even charge me. Tells me it could be anywhere from another $25 - $75 dollars, & absolute worst case scenario -- if the button is completely broken & they have a new one shipped from Scuf-- another $150 Keep in mind, I bought this controller 2-3 months ago for $220. It's never been dropped & it sits in its case. Spending $250 all-in to repair a single button WOULD NOT have been something I'd be willing to do. I ask if the repair is covered by a warranty, he tells me it is. So I pay the $100 & leave out. I think yall know what's coming... Saturday I get a phone call from Cameron at WeFix n Customize. Says he's my technician & much to my surprise, that I can come pick up my controller... for another $150 ($250 all-in) No phone call to tell me what they found out & see if I WANTED to have it fixed. He just fixed it & it'll be another $150 to be able to pick it up. Tells me he had to fix the R2 button - they (miraculously) "had one in the back" & says he "also had to fix one of the sticks on the back" (???) When I get to the store, I ask him to explain what he meant by "fixing one of the sticks on the back" -- he was talking about the removable paddles... But when I point out the fact they're just REMOVABLE paddles, he says "oh, I know" & insists he "didn't charge me for that anyway" ... I'm then informed that their computer is having issues & as a result, he's not able to ring me for the repair... he has to instead, ring me up as having a "cleaning".... (Suspicious, but whatever.) I ask him if that'll give me any problems if I have to come back for some reason. He tells me no... which reminds me to ask how long that warranty is good for... His response: "there isn't one, but we'd probably give you a discount if you needed it fixed again" .... As if I'd give another dollar to the literal scammers at this absolute chop shop shithole.

When people ask to speak a manager I roll my eyes. I had an incredibly unpleasant experience at this store while attempting to upgrade my phone. The employee who assisted me spent approximately 20 minutes asking me questions, all while avoiding eye contact, wearing earbuds with music actively playing, speaking so quietly that I repeatedly had to ask him to repeat himself, and generally giving the impression that interacting with customers was an enormous inconvenience. After all of that, he finally asked which phone I was interested in upgrading to. When I told him, his immediate response was, "That's not in stock.". What makes this experience particularly frustrating is that this entire interaction could have been avoided with one simple question at the beginning: What phone are you looking to upgrade to? I was holding an iPhone, and my intention to upgrade to a newer iPhone wasn't exactly a mystery that required 20 minutes of investigation. What makes of even WORSE? We called five minutes before arriving and verified that it was in stock. We also checked online prior to that. So not only did the employee act like he hated interacting with us, but he hated us enough to lie about a phone being in stock. The visceral look of disgust we got when I explained I'm on my husband's plan, who was standing next to me, kind of said it all. It's the first time something like this has happened to me. I left feeling really sad. Now I'm just kind of disgusted and angry. I completely understand that a particular model may be out of stock. Inventory issues happen. What I don't understand is the apparent lack of interest in providing even basic customer service. Eye contact, audible communication, removing your earbuds, and asking a customer what they're actually looking for seem like fairly reasonable starting points. I left without upgrading my phone, but more importantly, with absolutely no desire to return to this location. AT&T, this is not the customer experience you should be offering.
