I've been working through a complex, months-long process of finding the right contact lenses, and the level of patience, understanding, and thoroughness I received here has been unmatched. Steve Romero is truly a guardian angel and one of the best professionals I have ever worked with. He has gone completely above and beyond - not only helping me find a comfortable, well-fitting frame after a frustrating experience elsewhere, but even stepping in to help secure replacement lenses when my glasses were accidentally damaged at a work offsite. His dedication to making sure I was taken care of every step of the way means the world to me. Dr. Ito is equally phenomenal. She is brilliant, perceptive, attentive, and incredibly thorough. With her, I always feel like my eye health is in the most capable, thoughtful hands. Finding an office of people who genuinely care about their patients makes all the difference. From my very first…read moreconsultation, I had a terrific impression and immediately felt that I had found the right doctor. Dr. Brandon Cohenmehr was incredibly thorough, attentive, and knowledgeable, and I never felt rushed during any of my appointments. During my initial complimentary consultation, he not only placed trial lenses but also identified that I had MGD. I'm very thankful this was caught early, especially since no other doctor had detected it before. His attention to detail is truly phenomenal. My scleral lens fitting went incredibly well. My lenses arrived in exactly a week, and he was able to get me to 20/20 vision, which was especially important to me because glasses could not get me there. I also had an issue with the trial lenses fogging up, and he immediately recognized that my dry eye was likely contributing to the problem. He recommended hydro-coated scleral lenses, which turned out to be an excellent solution. My official lenses with the coating have not fogged up! I really appreciate how comprehensive and personalized the care is. He is a great problem solver, explains everything thoroughly, and genuinely pays attention to the details. The staff is also friendly, helpful, and responsive. Appointments are always on time, and I've never had to deal with a long wait. Overall, the entire process was smooth, efficient, and exceeded my expectations. I'm very grateful for the care I received and absolutely cannot recommend him enough!

I had just had laser surgery on my eye at UCLA earlier in the day when I suddenly developed severe pain in the affected eye and nausea. Based on my ER experience, I knew this was a bad sign and knew that the pressure in my eye was likely dangerously high. I called Sunny optometry and even though it was late Friday afternoon, they squeezed me and immediately diagnosed the condition and immediately initiated emergency treatment on my eye. Dr Sun's management and customer service was superlative and saved me from damage to my vision. When I followed up with an ophthalmology specialist at UCLA, they too were super impressed with her quick thinking and "spot on" management. I have been a patient at Sunny Optometry for quite a few years now and I can say that everyone who works there is friendly, compassionate, efficient, and very knowledgeable and professional.
