Amazing!!! I've been trying to find a way to explain just how wonderful this owner and his nephew are!! I came here on a Saturday because I was having an issue with my glasses. They figured it out in no time and fixed my prescription. They made progressive lenses in one hour in the back room. They also explained what my issue was and were very patient. Absolute Genius!! They are also just a pleasure to talk to while you wait. What a fabulous experience. I cannot say enough. read more

This is the best optical store in all of West Los Angeles. Absolutely professional and they make your eyeglasses in the store itself.

The owner is a genius. I was overworking at a state agency and was getting severe headaches. My parents sent me to him after I was unable to get help any help from numerous eye doctors. Some even told me to get scans, get physical checkups. Within 10 minutes, he figured out that a lens adjustment was needed. He grinds lens himself in his on site lab. I never had any more headaches! He also finds me his strongest frames so that the glasses last a long time for me. I've been his client over 20 years and highly, highly recommend him. He has been totally wonderful. Value is the greatest. Save time, energy with a genius! read more

Went here based on Yelp reviews as my blue light lenses broke, and my prescription had expired, to boot. He was able to do a temporary fix until we could source the right hinge in less than an hour and refused to charge me! A rare, true gentleman in LA. read more

Very nice owner took care of my adjustment I will be back for all future glasses needs

I have a very high prescription and have always had clunky glasses. I decided to invest in quality glasses. Steve at I Care Optical did a masterful job of hand-creating my new glasses. I love them! I no longer feel self-conscious when I need to take out my contact lenses and wear glasses. Steve brings a lifetime of experience to the outstanding workmanship he creates. read more

I'm satisfied with the Groupon that I purchased and used at this optometry office. It paid for the eye exam and $150 toward new frames and lenses. The optometrist was very friendly, professional, and took the time to answer any questions I had or explain different scenarios my eyes go through during the day. The frames selection isn't as vast as, say, a large retailer like LensCrafters, but it's decent and serves its purpose. I recommend looking on Groupon for the deal or just visiting this office for your optometry needs. read more

Amazing service very profession. STEVE and MARIE are professionals who care. They are consistent and extremely knowledgeable.

I-Care Optical is the best place to buy prescription eye glasses in L.A. My family and I have been purchasing our glasses from I-Care for many years. Our individual prescriptions are filled to the highest standards, and the selection of frames includes the most fashion-forward trends as well as traditional styles. The staff is friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. If you don't see what you're looking for... ASK. Often times, different sizes, styles, or colors have been ordered for me. I'm picky, and I will only buy my glasses from I-Care. The way I feel is that when people look at me, the first thing they see are my glasses... and my glasses allow me to see the world! read more

My family has been going to I-Care Optical for over a dozen years and during that time, we have purchased many pairs of glasses. We all have different issues (I need bifocals, my husband has light sensitivity and my son is very nearsighted) but we all appreciate the courtesy we are met with, and the professionalism we are served with. The frames are stylish and the prices fair. When we order our glasses, we know they will be done in a timely fashion, and will done correctly the first time. And there's always street parking, a plus in L.A. read more

I have been getting all my glasses at I care for the last 20 plus years. I live in the west San Fernando Valley and it is definitely worth the drive. Stephan Ritoper and his staff are skilled technicians. Everytime a patient of mine cannot get their glasses correct I send them there and they come back satisfied and praising their expertise. This is a word of mouth practice and has been well established for at least 30 years. Marie besides being extremely knowledgeable can help you find eyewear that is not only funtional but stylish as well. I can only hope he never retires!!! read more
