I walked in with a particular frame in mind, which they didn't have in stock, but started to show me other frames that were comparable in style and look. Ended up finding a frame that was fit my face. The purchase process was smooth, as I still needed to get new prescription (they recommended an optometrist they work closely with) and the whole process took about 2.5-3 weeks (getting my eyes checked took longest). They'll help to recommend what would be good based on your face shape and eyes. And they'll offer similar styles, etc. They're also really quick and knowledgeable. She pulled a bunch of different options for me to try. And they'll keep the glasses pristine. They'll even offer to clean your own glasses. Once you have your purchase, they'll help adjust the nose bridge and/or the ear area to help fit on your face better. I recently purchased a pair of frames that unfortunately didn't fit my nose bridge well, and ended up visiting Eye Holics after some extensive Google searching for "add metal nose pads to acetate frames". Great experience! Hailey was the one who helped me throughout. It felt very easy to talk & ask her for honest opinion from her with the (many) frames I have tried on. Overall , I'm very happy with the customer service here, their selection & the pricing. They carry mostly Korean brands, and some Western & Australian brands as well. I appreciate their cleanliness too. As others have mentioned, the only downside is parking. It's located in a plaza with small parking lot shared with other businesses so it can get filled up fast. I would like to say that from the time I spoke with Michael on the phone, and then meeting him, Gemma and Hailey when I came to the store, it was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had from any company. They're up there with my dentist who I've been going to for about 17 years. I'm not one to give out good ratings without having experienced top quality service. Prior to reaching out to Eye Holics, I called the usual big chain eye glass company (where I got my last prescription glasses) to ask them if they would install executive bifocals into existing frames, I was immediately shut down. They said they're not able to provide those anymore. Really? Was that because I wasn't going to purchase one of their own frames? Well, everything happens for a reason, and because of that, I was able to discover Eye Holics. I ended not going wit the executive bifocals and decided to upgrade to progressives instead, which I love. Oh, although I had them installed into my own frames, I noticed the frames Eye Holics carry. I'm looking (pardon the pun) for some new peepers. I'm pretty particular about what I want. I'll know it when I find it. It's located in a small mall with several eating and drinking establishments so finding a place to self-park is not very likely. They do have valet parking for just $2. I found street parking very close which was much easier than dealing with the congested lot. Eye Holics is a beautiful boutique eyeglass establishment. I love the way the store is laid out. They have high-end frames. Don't go there expecting to find a deal for $100 that includes frames and lenses. You won't find it here. If you wear glasses all the time, paying extra for good quality and service is worth it. People have no trouble paying $400 for a suit they wear just once in a while, so paying $300 for something you wear every day and everyone sees isn't really so bad, right? The staff is awesome. Gemma helped me out. I told her what I was looking for and she cheerfully gave me several different frames to try. She really knows her products. The other store associate was also very helpful and pleasant. I didn't find the frames that I wanted, but Gemma said they get new inventory all the time. I plan on checking back later this month I'm glad I took a visit over there. If I owned a store of any kind this is how I would like it to be run. I've never given five stars to a place that didn't have what I was looking for, so that tells you a lot about how sensational this place is! read more

I always have a hard time finding the right pair of sunglasses for my particular face. Many sunglasses are either too narrow or it doesn't fit my nose structure. Sunglasses would slip off my face due to this. It would also hit my cheek bone easily. My bro's gf was the one who bought her sunglasses here so I gave them a chance. They're known to have very stylish sunglasses/glasses that fit asian structured faces. Upon arrival, the lady who was there is very welcoming! I told her I want to spend some good money on my first pair of sunglasses. I wasn't sure what shape but I did know I want black/dark lenses. She brings different pairs that she thinks would suit my face shape. After picking the one, she asked if I would like to polarize them which I said yes. It took them around 20-30 mins to polarize them. After, a wonderful guy fitted the sunglasses for my face. I told him whenever I wear sunglasses/glasses, one side of my face feels asymmetrical. One lens feels further away than the other eye. He understood what I meant and adjusted according. One side of my face isn't symmetrical. One ear is a tad further back than the other. After the wonderful fitting, it fit my face so perfectly. It doesnt budge either!! I love my new sunglasses! read more

My experience with Eye Holics was phenomenal! I came by Friday Afternoon, literality "eye" shopping, and was immediately greeted by an employee. When she found out what I wanted, she show-cased bunch of glasses that I really liked. With trendy and bunch of great selections to choose from, it took me maybe 10~15 minute to find the perfect glasses, which satisfied my budget ($200~300). Since I was a "first-time" client, whose recent eye exam was more than 5 years ago, they had me visit a nearby optical place to get my sight examined. I honestly expected the glasses to be ready by next week, but after getting my eye-examined, the employee called to notify that my glasses was ready to be picked up (30 minutes? after the examination)! I searched high and low for the best selection of eyeglass and sunglass frames. I went to stores on Melrose. I went to Orange County and went to South Coast Plaza. Fashion Island in Newport. But still I keep coming back to this store. They have the best selection of frames. Michael, the owner, has an eye for the frames that you would love. I bought multiple frames here. My favorite is my DITA frame. Michael had the foresight to convert a DITA sunglass frame into an eyeglass frame. I picked it up and put it on. Wow! It was different. I don't like to wear the same frames like everyone else. I want something that stands out. I always get compliments when wearing this DITA frame. I bought a few other frames here. Thom Browne and Alexander McQueen eyeglass and sunglasses. All my frames stand out. The store is not that big and is located in Koreatown Los Angeles. There's a ton of other eyeglass shops here but Eye Holics is by far the best. Once you enter the store, you will be greeted by Michael, Gemma or Hailey. They are super nice and helpful. It's unusual for a glasses store to stock them in the first place, so I went down today to see what they had, and I was pleasantly surprised! They literally have every model for you to try on! When I said try on as many as you want, I meant as many as you want, and they don't rush you at all. A fun, efficient shopping experience! I say efficient because they can tell which frames are flattering for your face shape, and which glasses will actually stay up on my nose without touching my cheekbones! I've gotten all my glasses here since 2015! I even got sunglasses here in 2015- and had prescription lenses put in them in 2021! I came here and found the CUTEST glasses rather quickly. Customer service was top tier! Fast forward 3 years later and I returned to get my prescription updated in those same glasses. Eye Holics is the definition of customer service. I bought a beautiful pair of Spring Strings sunglasses from them late last year. They come with a marvelous case that folds flat. While visiting family over Christmas, my Dad's overly energetic, ill-behaved dog mistook the (thankfully empty) case for a chew toy and destroyed it while we were out. Needless to say I was unhappy! Fortunately, Eye Holics was able to sell me a replacement for cheap, even though these cases are difficult to obtain from their supplier. I just love small businesses that do right by their customer. As a die hard fan of Weylie & Wah, I have been longing to go to California to just buy a pair of sunglasses that fit my Asian face! The only luxury brand of sunnies I owned were your classic Ray Ban Aviators. Finally, my sister and I got our butts over to Cali and made sure that we were going to stop by Koreatown to pick up a pair of sunnies. Do not fear, they have parking available but it can get crowded fast. At Eye Holics, the shop is small, but is saturated with sunglasses and glasses all over the walls. We were greeted by the lovely smiles of the staff and the owners. I cannot emphasize enough how AMAZING THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS. They encourage customers to try on whatever their eyes desire and to place the glasses back on the glass counter so they can wipe it after it's been on a person's face. Brownie points to them for cleanliness and letting customers explore all the different styles they have to offer. After trying on a handful of sunglasses, my sister and I each walked out with 2 pairs of sunnies. The owner would help narrow our choices and tell you if the sunglasses were the right look on your face/head shape. I can't rave enough about their attention to detail with how they manually repositioned the nose pieces and maneuvered the eye stems to ensure that your brand new sunnies will fit perfectly on your face/ears. The last step was satisfying as you watch your spectacles being dipped into a sanitary solution, then wiped gently with a microfiber cloth before being placed in a sturdy case.
