Having lived in LA for over 10 years, I've finally found an eyeglass store as honest as this one. I wanted to get prescription lenses for my swimming goggles and asked about the price. To my surprise, Sam, the owner, told me it would be cheaper to get them on Amazon. I couldn't believe his honesty. I had recently gone to Warby Parker, which is quite popular these days, but the eye exam was too expensive, and it would take two weeks just to get my glasses. Frustrated, I started looking for other options and decided to come here based on the great reviews. The prices were reasonable, the service was friendly especially Johnny and Ryan. And I got my glasses in just one hour! Eye Love Optical stands out for its honesty, great prices, and quick service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality eyewear. Trust me, you can't get this quality at this price anywhere else. Only here. read more

Went in for an eye examination to see if my prescription needed changed. My VSP covers exam with co-pay. I received a $200 bill for a cataract medical diagnosis. They then submitted a claim to Medicare (which only covers glasses after cataract surgery). A vision should know this. Of course, it was declined. I did not ask for a medical diagnosis for cataracts but I got one. Good way to increase their profits. read more

I've been a happy customer at Eye Love for many years bc it's the best! The entire team is wonderful and so very helpful. Inventory is great and prices are also great. Top notch! read more

My partner and I had our car stuck in the parking structure across the street from Eye Love Optical and didn't know what to do. I called this business and they were the most empathetic and kindest people you will meet. They called my number back when the business across the street opened the parking structure and we were able to retrieve our car. I would trust this business with any glasses inquiries that I have. They are extremely helpful and kind even when it comes to service outside of their expertise. I would choose this place over any other location for their glasses. read more

I cannot say enough about this place! My family and I have been coming here for over 15 years and the service is spectacular and the entire staff is so friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of glasses to choose from and they range anywhere from $60 to designer prices which is a good range. They also offer eye exams at a cheap price on specific days and the optometrist is also really sweet. Sometimes I buy glasses from other brands online but I always come to them to get my prescription on my glasses. Truly the only place I trust with my glasses. I love the owners and their customer service is out of this world! Check them out and support local read more

Got an eye exam here and everyone was so nice and helpful! Really quick and easy process, thank you so much :)

I noticed one of the nosepads on my Oakley sunglasses missing literally about 5 minutes prior to passing by here, so I figured I'd just drop by to get it fixed (and I did not even look this place up beforehand). There were two guys working and greeted me with perfect English before I was about to say hi in Korean. The man who greeted me (pretty sure he was the owner) stopped what he was doing and immediately took my sunglasses and replaced the missing nosepad AND the other old one within like 2 minutes (I didn't even ask for the latter nor was expecting it). + I'm pretty sure he did some minor adjustments to fix few angles. Meanwhile, they greeted some regulars whom they knew by name that came in while I was waiting, but the owner himself didn't take his eyes off my glasses the whole time outside of giving those other customers the same smile he greeted me with. I was surprised how focused he was even though it was a minor repair. He topped it off with cleaning my sunglasses in one of their machines (which alone looked like something they could charge for since the other employee was working on another sunglasses with it). I already had my wallet out and was ready to pay whatever, but the owner said "all finished! and it's on the house" and waived my wallet away. I kinda did a double take before asking if he was serious. I mean he refused payment, so the least I can do is give him this review and help his business somehow. I was in and out within like 3 minutes so I forgot to catch his name, but thank you! read more

I went to two chain stores to have my favorite glasses repaired, and they could not do it and recommended I buy new ones for over a hundred dollars. When I went to eye Love Optical, they fixed my glasses for free and refused any payment even when I offered. This level of customer service is over the top. read more

I love this place. I've been coming here since 2018, and while their selection is not huge, it is well curated. The main star of the show, though are their lenses, exams, and support. They do a good job with progressive lenses, especially, giving you the right balance of distance depending on your needs, and have helped me fix an older frame that I bought there, for free, twice. Super kind, very reasonable prices for the lenses as well. In fact, even out of network, you're out of pocket price will likely be similar to places that accept your insurance directly. Most highly recommended. read more

I love this place!! This is my second time coming back and I had a very lovely experience. Staff are always so helpful, patient, and friendly! I appreciate the patience with picking frames. I got an exam, picked my frames, and walked out with my glasses with its prescription!! So quick and easy, thank you guys ! read more

Don't walk run!!! I cannot recommend Eye Love Optical enough. Value, customer service and urgency is above all. I had a pair of designer glasses that more than a handful of repair shops turned down. Owner stared at it for 30 seconds, went to the back & came back with a nearly brand new pair of glasses. Owner & his associate were extremely kind, accommodating and very patient. I ordered a pair of custom colored lenses on a pair of designer sunglasses and they returned it in an even better condition than they were dropped off. I was carless at the time and they arranged a delivery. In a city where customer service, kindness and sense of urgency is very lacking, I thank you - Please support this small business HIGHLY recommend. read more

Consider getting your eye exam here. Excellent and Fast service and very informative. You will find good value for your time and money here. Stopped by today with my girlfriend earlier in the afternoon after calling several different places. She got her eye exam done for $50. Cheapest in area considering it's around $80 anywhere else. Very welcoming and good hospitality! Advice doesn't sound like they're trying to sell you on anything trying to make a quick buck. Walked in with no appointment but recommend you just calling first. Thanks again read more

I'm not going anywhere else for glasses! They have a wide variety of glasses (especially a wide range for children, and many options that don't break as easily) and good prices! Even if they may be out of network with my vision insurance, it's still much cheaper to come here and claim out of network benefits. And you can't find a quicker turnaround service for lenses in the area! Plus the people who work here are all super friendly, genuinely kind, and helpful so I'm happy to give them my service. Unfortunately I've had bad experiences with other places overcharging and and nickle and diming me. Grateful to have found this place. Thank you Eye Love!! read more

From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, taking the time to answer all my questions and ensure I was comfortable throughout my appointment. The optometrist was not only knowledgeable but also took a genuine interest in my eye health, explaining everything clearly and making the experience enjoyable. The selection of frames was impressive, with stylish options for every budget. Overall, this place is a gem in the community, combining professionalism with a personal touch. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of eye care! Ps, you even get birthday texts! read more

Johnny is amazing! I'm an optician and I can tell you from first hand experience how amazing the prices are but also the service and quality. I buy my wife a lot of frames, and I always come here to put the prescription in them today. It was done in less than 15 minutes and again their prices are amazing $60 for plastic with anti-reflective coating while everywhere else it's 80 to 100 they have deals for frame and lenses for $100. You can't beat that single vision I'm not too sure what the bifocal or the progressive price is but absolutely amazing and they have really great quality frames like Lindbergh and Tom Ford I saw vintage frames as well. I love this place. read more

My family and myself are all regular customers of this optical place. They have a lots and good selections.

Been coming here for my eyeglasses and sunglasses needs. Impeccable customer service and lens quality. They even have broad selection of frames in diff. great brands. Today i had my plastic frames sunglasses installed with metal leg nosepads. I'm pleased with the final outcome. Nosepad sits perfectly on the frame. See the photo for result. I broke the lenses of my glasses at the gym and needed a new pair as soon as possible. Eye Love Optical was the only spot I found nearby where I live where I can just walk-in for an eye exam and get glasses ready by the next day. The owner was super helpful in helping find a pair of glasses that fit and frame my face properly and was suggesting I stop looking at the expensive frames because they're a waste of money. Got a great deal on a pair of new lightweight titanium frames, replacement of my broken lenses on my original pair, and an eye exam. Paid way less than I did at Costco a couple years ago. Lovely local family run business. Will definitely come back again. read more

Absolutely love this store, so many options for low bridge fit!! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and friendly! L - O - V - E this place!! I came here before covid and after and they just keep getting better (if that's even possible). The owner and his associate are the most knowledgeable and sweet. They don't pressure you into buying anything!! They just ask you to look around and if you have questions, they answer all your questions and concerns. I actually wasn't planning to get glasses because I usually import mine from Korea but their selection was so nice that I had to get 2 pairs. Coming back for my sunnies next week I get my eye exam from Dr. Nguyen inside the store and she is amazing! So sweet and knowledgeable. read more

My girlfriend and I walked in and the staff was so welcomin. They fixed both of our broken glasses in less than 5 minutes. They were extremely professional and helpful. I am so impressed with this place. For an entire morning, I tried calling several places to get a same-day appointment. I know that's a lot to ask, but I happen to get a last-minute day off from work, so I crossed my fingers and tried calling several eye doctors! No luck with 6 different places. Finally, as I was walking around Korea town, I saw this place. I just walked in and asked if they had any available appointments and they kindly said "It is only walk-ins here!" I was sooooo happy. I came in and filled out one sheet of paper. I asked them their cash prices and they were very upfront about it all. I only waited about 10 minutes and was already in to see the eye doctor. I asked for a contact lens prescription in addition to my eye glass prescription. It was such an easy, fast process. I picked my glasses. I picked the cheapest ones they provided. They then told me that i could return same-day in a few hours to pick up my new glasses. I was in shock. I came back at 4pm and they had my glasses ready!! They adjusted it to my face and made sure I was satisfied. I only spent $125. That includes the glasses with prescription, contact lens prescription, and I had a small removal of a tiny eye lash that had been poking my eye for months. I didn't even realize that it was that one lash that had been bothering me. I had always thought it was my make up, but the doc was able to see the little lash poking my eye every time I blinked. So awesome! Everyone was so fantastic. I highly recommend this place to all. read more

Great customer service! We are very pleased! I was here last year to have an eye exam from another optical shop and l was pleased with the wide selections that they have here. So I told my husband that I would come here the next time I buy a new pair of glasses. But last week my husband's glasses fell apart, maybe because of normal wear and tear. I suggested that we come here and check this place out. Surely that late afternoon we came here eventhough the optometrist is not avail which Mr. Young mentioned when we called. When we came into the store, He helped us right away. My husband needed wide frames. He gave us multiple glasses that fits him. My husband was so happy to wear all of them because it fits him. He loved 3 out of 6 and had a hard time choosing "the one" he liked the most. We love shopping here, the experience was great! We will be back here for sure. And by the way, thank you so much for the great discount. read more

Been a loyal customer at Eye Love Optical for about five years now and I have to say I'm so glad I have a go-to optometry who can take care of all my eye needs. I have purchased Maui Jim sunglasses, eyeglasses, and contact lenses here as well. I've always left with a positive experience. The service is great and quick. I've never had to wait too long to get my eyes checked or to purchase something. The owner and his assistant are both very personable and accommodating. Definitely recommend! Finally I've found the perfect place for glasses and contact lenses :] I've been to Gold Optometry and Germany Optical and both of those places had SUCKY ASS customer service. Every staff member here are very friendly and helpful. A sweet lady welcomes you at the door with a smile and everyone who works here are happy people! Plus they have a wide selection of frames. My BF actually had a hard time deciding on which one to go with. My BF changes glasses once a year and I get eye exams once a year for contact lenses so we will be back here every year! We got great service, a great deal, and we can't wait to tell our family/friends about this place. Parking: meters are available all around the block.. and they do have a small lot but they won't mind spending a quarter or two for your meter :] Highly recommended :] read more
