I constantly deal with Emmanuel and find him to be very honest and helpful in all of our interactions. He and his sister are very caring about their community and also give back to it. If only all businesses used their model, the eyeglasses and sunglasses experience would be over the top. Thanks for always being so pleasant. read more

Always have a great experience at Hye Optic. Emmanuel and his family are so helpful and personable. Good selection, prices and service.

Truly this is the best place to get glasses (also repair etc)! They have an incredible selection of beautiful frames, modern and vintage. Specifically I love the vintage frames, what a damn collection. the staff is super knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. they are so fun to go on a glasses journey with lol. The pricing is great, too. everything is great quality, and these folks are Not trying to rip you off. They will tweak to make it perfect, and welcome you back if you need more tweaking. I live out of town, and wait to come here to even consider getting new glasses. Love this place!! :-) read more

This review is way overdue. I guess that's because I always felt like I was just coming to my own boutique, so writing a review never crossed my mind for over 20 years. I can't speak highly enough of Hye Optic co-owners! Emmanuel and Shakeh always treat me like family. They remember my specific preferences and provide honest recommendations while patiently addressing all my questions and concerns. It is rare to find such personalized and genuine service--highly recommended! read more

They have awesome sunglasses and eye glasses here to for your needs. I also like what I saw and bought one pair from Hye Optic too. Nice selections here, and not so expensive either. I will be back again soon. read more

I can't say enough things about hye optic. This review is overdue as I've been coming here for over 10 years. I have a very high prescription, and they have always cut the pricing of other places such as lens crafters. They've turned sunglasses into prescription reading glasses for me, and even when i bought an expensive Prada frame for a $1k, there's literally no other place i would trust to handle them. I went in the other day cos i bent them up bad from accidentally sitting on them. As well as another pair that was missing a nose pad and needed to be realigned. After they were finished making them all brand new, i asked to pay, and they said please don't worry about it. I know it was a simple fix, but i still appreciate people's time and good service. They refused for me to pay. Anyway, it's that kind of place. Family owned. They're always friendly and have a great sense of humor and they also have a great designer selection of frames to choose from and they do their best to give u a speedy service of getting your glasses back. I always look forward to being taken care of here. read more

I've been here plenty of times, Emmanuel is a very fair and an excellent business owner. Their turn around time is very fast for custom lenses and I've found no reason to go elsewhere. Excellent work, great pricing, and overall a very positive and seamless experience. Very wide selection on frames as well. I'd give 10 stars if I could. I'll never go to another place for glasses. Hye Optic is my first and only choice read more

These folks are SO friendly and encouraging and helpful! I've been dying to try on some Cazqls after having the same pair of tom fords for over a decade - Emmanuel and Joy took the time to ask the Cazal rep to meet me and I got to peruse 2 giant trunks of glasses all on my own. Talk about the royal treatment! I'm having a hard time choosing frames but when I tell you the service is unmatched! You can't find a better place or better people and as I told them, it's not a question of if I'll be purchasing but how often! This is customer service that makes me a very vocal fan for life! read more

Always terrific. They stand by their work. They have a great selection and do super work. Wonderful people all! I love this store!

They are so nice there. They have a great assortment of glasses and the young guy who helped me kept pulling out glasses he thought would go with my face. I got two very different glasses that I love plus the cost of the two frames and prescription was a great price. read more

I really hate when a business does something wrong and doesn't admit it. I took a brand new pair of Thom Brown glasses to have my corrected lens put it. I tried them on there and they complimented me on the way they looked on my face. When I return to get them with my lens in I noticed that they didn't feel the same. I ask the lady who was helping me to adjust them and she said that someone had weld incorrect and I should take them back where I purchased them. I explained that they weren't like that when I initially brought them in. She just looked at me and said they didn't do it. I assured her again that they weren't like this when I initially gave them to put I my corrected lens. I'm very disappointed. I've used them several times before with no problems. read more

Hye Optic is the only place I trust for eyeglasses. They have a wide range of choices and prices. The biggest reason I go is because Emm is invaluable when it comes to service. Most people won't care what you choose for your eyeglasses and perhaps the bottom line for them is what you spend, however, Emm has a skill which many lack -- confidently and tactfully telling you which glasses are (or are not) a good fit for your face and look. He can recommend several options and I know I'll be very happy with my decision. What was usually a paralyzing process for me became exciting ever since I learned about Hye Optic. read more

Wonderful customer service. Beautiful frames to choose from, designer, low cost frames and unique ones too. They are awesome at helping you find frames that suit your face/style if you like. I love taking my frames and updating my lenses once the prescription has changed or if I want to have them be colored lenses. They are awesome, check them out. If you want them in an hour so this Ain't the place but it's worth the wait and cost. read more

Hye Optic - My last pair I got there. Just what I was looking for! - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I had them replace the lenses in my glasses and they were fast and efficient! And I can SEE! It's glorious!

I was referred by my girlfriend who is extremely picky! So since she is satisfied with their service I'd figure I would give it a try as well..I must say I am completely satisfied as well. I have gotten my glasses at Costco before and I love Costco prices but the Optical does not give you the type of personal service You will receive at HYE Optic! The office is located in Little Armenia but the amount of foot traffic in the store is very diverse and they do not treat anyone any different. Everyone that I saw coming in were treated with respect and politeness; they are very flexible to your needs! So if you are looking for great customer service and satisfaction I would definitely recommend this place! They can also turn your favorite sunglasses into prescription sunglasses read more

Hye Optic - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - Los Angeles, California

The no. 1 spot to go to in LA for anything lenses & optics. Been going here for 3 years and was always 100% happy. Best prices, best quality, and a truly remarkable service. Keep up the amazing work. **updated - 3 stars** Ok. It used to be a 5-star. I recently got a prescription change, and brought both pairs for new anti-reflective lenses. Been less than a year, and something really awkward started happening; the coating literally started peeling off both pairs, one with very light use. Their prices are still hard to beat, but the quality.. not so much. read more

I came into Hye Optic about a month ago in desperate need of some frames since I had accidentally sat on my glasses earlier in the day. You're in good hands with Emmanuel and Rachel at Hye Optic! They were able to show me several hip and stylish frames, pop my old lenses into my chosen frame, and ring up my order in under 20 minutes. The store is located within a plaza with ample parking on a weeknight. Thanks, again! read more

Fantastic shop. I had two pairs of glasses and one pair of sunglasses set with new prescriptions here. FYI, I am super anal and freak out over the slightest imperfections. Happy to say that all three pairs came out meticulously. In fact, at Emmanuel's recommendation I went with a thinner lens that made my glasses lighter and alleviated my headaches. Manny is super nice and very specific on when you should expect the order to be completed. Finally, the price, as excepted is quite reasonable. I will have all my frames set here in the future. read more
