Dr Duong is one of the kindest doctors I have ever come across. She took time to explain each test, what to expect, and was extremely affable. She conducted each test with the utmost professionalism. At the conclusion of the exam, she explained the results in an easy to understand way. The selection of glasses at Specs is excellent. You will have plenty of different types of brands, price points, and styles to chose from. The location is extremely polished and is in an upscale shopping center- so bring someone to the exam and you can eat at one of the local shops after! Overall, I can soundly say- I don't think I have EVER had a more pleasant experience at an eye exam location in my life. Bear in mind, I have lived in LA and NYC and have had exams in those cities and neither compared to the hospitable and nurturing care provided by Spec's. I will be back to Spec's for future eye exams! read more

Called ahead to see if I can walk in for an eye exam. Got an appointment at 2pm Front desk was extremely helpful and patient when I asked him a million questions and then a million more questions to clarify lol. The doctor was informative, I used to be a salesmen so a second nature of mine when I'm the customer is to identify and analyze the "up sale." But far as I'm concerned when it comes to thing like glasses and this establishment things are pretty lax and they make sure it's a recommendation and don't use any weird stats as a scare tactic. Front desk- great customer service, patient and informative Doctor - answers most questions before you even ask by explaining her decisions step by step. Time- Registration (new client) 15 minutes Exam: average time Glasses/contacts: they don't pull off a hard sale or any sale for that matter. Just kinda let's you browse and pick something. Read in a previous comment they weren't very helpful in picking out glasses. Far as my personal experience goes most places don't really have much input besides "pick w.e you're most comfortable with" haha. Waiting for glasses to come in now, ordered past Friday June, 30th. If glasses come today if be extremely happy, but being a holiday week they informed me Wednesday would be a safe bet. read more

Pros: Great customer service, easy eye exam, variety of glasses, hip atmosphere, extremely friendly to military! Cons: Absolutely none. I am in the military stationed in Germany and was back home for a wedding. I visited SPECS Vision Care with my wife on a Saturday afternoon at around 1pm in need of glasses. I was greeted by Edward who immediately showed me a great deal of hospitality. I was introduced to Dr. Duong and she was able to give my wife and I an eye exam as we did not have our prescriptions. She was extremely friendly and accommodating. More importantly, she was able to do the eye puff thing in one try! Normally it takes the military optometry tech multiple times (very frustrating), but she was a pro! After the exam was complete, Edward proceeded to show me a variety of glasses. He educated me on all the different types of glasses and lenses. He was not pushy at all and answered my dumb questions. He introduced me to transition lenses. It tints the lenses when exposed to UV light. It was exactly what I needed when I didn't want to wear contacts. I finally chose a pair of black Banana Republic glasses that had a slick silver design above the ear. It was a huge upgrade from the BCGs (Birth Control Glasses) that I was issued from the military. My wife also bought a pair of Ray Bans that had a black and dark brown leopard pattern. The best part of my visit was that she was extremely appreciative that I was in the military. She didn't have to, nor did I ask, but she gave me an awesome deal for the glasses that my wife and I bought. I left SPECS much happier than I came in the store! On a side note, I also really enjoyed the chill music that was playing in the background. It really enhanced the experience while I was there. Overall, I definitely recommend SPECS Vision Care to everyone. Dr. Duong and Edward are an awesome team and are the friendliest people I have ever met! read more

Specs Vision Care - Dr. Jess Duong and Edward helped me find these sick Banana Republic glasses! - Optometrists Near Me - Riverside, California

My daughter referred me and my husband to Specs. We couldn't be happier that she did so. Our experience was awesome! The office was decorated beautifully. We felt very comfortable. Dr. Duong is a fabulous doctor. She explained everything thoroughly and has a great personality. She took her time with each of us and gave us plenty of options. Next was the fun part with Edward, aka Office Manager. He's such an asset to Dr. Duong's team. He has a great personality and has plenty of knowledge in this area. I tried on lots of glasses and his truthful opinion was greatly appreciated. I got two very sheik looking pair of glasses and have received so many compliments. Husband got two pairs as well. Couldn't be happier with becoming a Specs patient for life. read more

I was only able to give a 5 star revue, but Specs and the people who work there, are just awesome and deserve more than that. My daughter just happened to break her glasses in half last night. So after work we went to specs to see what our options were. Eduardo gave me options and he was able to find a set of frames that he could take our existing lenses and modify them to fit. That alone was enough to get a rave review from me, but when he said he could have them tomorrow around noon, I was just blown away. I can't thank them enough for all they have done and they will for sure be getting more of my families business in the future. read more

Best experience at an optometrist I have experienced. From the exam to paying, I was treated with care and kindness. The doctor knew her stuff and was really kind. Everyone at the front was also very considerate and made sure everyone in the office was being taken care of. Also during COVID, everything was very clean and I did not feel uncomfortable at all. read more

Everybody in here are very chill a dope vibe I've never have gotten at a glasses spot. Nothing gut good thing from this spot and quick.

Consistently the best optometrist experience. Staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. They are genuinely interested in your vision needs. They offer a wide range of frames and work with you to ensure complete satisfaction. The office is meticulously cleaned and provides a relaxed environment. Purchased 2 pairs of glasses and they even helped me adjust a previous pair of frames. Prices are competitive and they will work with your insurance to get you the best deal. Will definitely return for all my future vision needs. Highly recommend spec vision to anyone in the market for an eye exam, frames or contacts. read more

Specs Vision Care is a modern and hip optometry office compared to other locations in the area. They carry frames for all budgets including many high end brands like Oliver Peoples and Tom Ford. I came in for my first eye exam and Dr. Duong was very welcoming and professional during the whole process. Afterwards Danny walked me through their vast selection of glasses and helped me find a pair I absolutely loved. The knowledgeable staff and friendly atmosphere made for a very pleasant experience! Highly recommend! read more

I look forward to getting my eye exams yearly. Staff here are always so helpful. They also have a great selection on glasses.

Great selection of glasses & staff is very friendly & helpful! Highly recommend this place!

Just had another AMAZING experience! My puppy chewed up my glasses and I needed replacements right away. Went to Specs and they were able to replace my lenses on the spot within the hour. Everyone here is so friendly, and they truly put customer service first. I'll never go anywhere other than Specs! read more

Very welcoming and excellent service. My 9 year had to get a check up. She usually is scared of any kind of Dr's appointment but felt very comfortable and didn't shed one tear. She can't wait to pick up her glasses. read more

I went to Specs Vision Care for the first time and was extremely impressed. Not only is the interior beautiful, but the doctor and office manager were of the utmost help. There were so many beautiful frames to choose from. The office manager (Edward), took his time and helped me select just the right frames for my face, which I have received so many compliments on since. Dr. Duong was extremely welcoming and very professional. With great pleasure, have recommended Specs Vision Care to everyone I know. Looking forward to my next visit there. read more

Jessica Duong is definitely *the* unfriendliest doctor I have ever encountered... She does not greet her patients, say thank you or goodbye. I noticed this during my visit, with myself and other people coming in and out of the business. Edward, however, is great. She should definitely learn a thing or two about customer service from him. read more

Great vision center. Prices seem to be a little high but totally worth it. The Dr there is attentive and caring and will explain everything in as great of detail as you would like. They have a wide selection of frames amd many different styles to choose from. read more

Lots of frame options and friendly staff. It does take a while even when you have an appointment so just make sure you allow an extra 30 minutes of your time. And they are better priced than local competition. read more

Dr. Duong and Ed are a great team. Friendly, fast, and efficient. Great selection of glasses without any pressure while browsing. Attentive to my needs and actually adjusted my prescription (unchanged by other docs for the past 6-7 years) and now see a lot clearer. read more

Specs is great! Very professional staff, they're smart, warm and friendly! I walked into specs, because it's so close to where I live, however, I'm so glad I did... I had my glasses in about 4 hours, beautiful Versace frames, awesome price, and both of the staff, not only knowledgeable, but fashion conscious also!! I'd highly recommend to anyone who needs to get an eye Exam (literally 15 minutes) very thorough, and you're on your way in a few hours! 5 stars... 2 thumbs up!! read more

Overall, I cannot express how professional both Edward and Dr. Duong were. They were very accommodating to any requests I had and settled any issues immediately and without hesitation. They definitely do have a quality place going on here and I highly suggest coming here for your eye exam! read more

This is my first time getting an eye exam since I got married and moved to riverside and was scared to trust another doctors office other than the one I'm used to going, but the at vision specs welcomed us with open arms and smiles. Dr. Doung was very nice and answered all of my questions. Edward was also very patient and very accommodating and so was Hugo. When I first got my glasses I was so excited but there were a couple of scratches so they ordered me a new one without hesitation! To be honest I had to come in a couple times, but with such good customers service and patience it was all worth it! I'm glad to be part of this new family of vision! Thank you guys for all the hard work! read more

After struggling for years with my prior Optometrist getting my prescription right, I FINALLY decided to change. I went to Dr.Duong and on my first appointment, she got the prescription right on. I know this sounds crazy but I have no idea of why I kept going back to my prior and correcting the prescription each time. I suppose just kind of like an old shoe. I wished I would have changed years ago! Eddie was patient and very helpful with my selection of glasses. Do yourself a favor and try this office! read more

I don't have the time to sit here for a hour and type away. This store will know me by name. Your word is your word and this place has left me with the sour feeling in my mouth. I've been in four separate times, the last three times to get my second paid of glasses and was never told anything about price chance until they were actually there. Cause the prior two times I was told they were and ended up not being there. The agreed reason for buying a second pair was that is need to pay the difference in cost which was agreed to be $15 but no more then $25. My third time I finally get there and they have them in told it's $180....really? That's not a couple dollar difference. This price is quite significant and I'm sure anybody will agree. Working in customer service the way you go about this was hey it wad a mistake on my employee but I will honor his word even though it was a mistake. At the cost of keeping my customer happy. Not telling him it is what it is and to kick rocks. I was not even mad about coming four times for the same thing. This though is unacceptable service. If I could leave negative stars I would cause one is not even earned like this. read more

Easy to find, great location near great places to eat. Beautiful inside and clean. 5 star customer service, we were seen on time and greeted with friendly smiles. Doctor is knowledgeable and very helpful. Edward aka Jack Sparrow ( could be his twin) helped to find the perfect fit glasses and perscription sunglasses for my hubby. He explained the options thoroughly and worked within our budget. Hubby and I both walked out feeling great about our experience with this great group of professionals. Looking forward to our return to pick up our glasses order. I will refer all my friends to SPECS. read more
