My experience here was great. The doctor made me feel very welcome. The ambience is beautiful inside and there's quick service. The doctor genuinely cares about her patients and is quick to respond to the needs of a patient. The front desk ladies are very informative about insurance and what you are and are not able to get. I was sent over here after sears closed down. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses. 1 generic frame and 1 pair of Coach sunglasses. They stated I had picked them up, or a relative. I never received my Coach glasses and I paid for them. It's only me and my son who can't drive so there's no way anyone else could pick them up. But Moises kept insisting that they were "dispensed" and when they're "dispensed" I had to of picked them up. Be careful they'll steal your money!! And you won't get your frames. read more

Complete waste of my time was told frame was at the place when I went I was told that they were not and that they made a mistake when they could've called and told me that they didn't have them instead of driving for 35 minutes just to be told that they never got the glasses will be taking my business somewhere else read more

Dr. Pham-Diaz is wonderful. I've been going to her since her office was located at the Sears and recently found out that they relocated to this location. Dr. Pham-Diaz answered all of my questions and is sweet and knowledgeable. I've been to other eye doctors but Dr. Pham-Diaz has always left a wonderful impression on me for how thorough she is and how nice and friendly her demeanor is towards her patients. Office staff were also sweet, friendly, personable and professional and the office itself was very clean and orderly with a comfortable seating area, displays were kept clean for the glasses and there was also a water cooler inside. So glad I found her again after their Sears relocation. read more

I got in right away. They are SO FRIENDLY and helpful. Ive not had my eyes checked in several years. They made me feel comfortable, explained and took their time and answered all I had to ask and nice selection of glasses.. And VERY through on cleaning all before and after any use.. I stopped by this location, because my wife referred me there, and my kids absolutely love it here. I needed some new glasses, and I was tired of driving to TJ every year or so, to get new ones. So I tried them out. Excellent customer service, excellent presentation, and I ended up buying 2 pairs of glasses. One for daily, and one for my Harley. Dr. Pham is awesome, and was extremely accommodating, when I needed to change my schedule date from a Monday to a Tuesday. Sales isn't pushy, and they give you what you want. I would spend about $300 for some glasses in Mexico, and it would take about 3 days to finish them, and they would either ship them to me, or I would have to go pick them up. I spent a little over $400 here and got 2 pairs of glasses. I'm also looking into Lasik now... Thank you for the GREAT customer service! ~JD read more

We brought my daughter for the first time to see Dr.Thao. She has had glasses since the 5th grade and is going into high school so we wanted to get her contact lenses. Dr.Thao sat with her and taught her how to put the lenses in and out until she felt comfortable. Told her how to clean them and how to care for them. It was a great first experience. More like Rotten Apple of my Eye Optometry... Poor customer service - reception was rude and condescending! Doctor produced a wrong prescription for me and charged me $$ to correct it, better read the fine print for how long she will honor her prescriptions...oh wait, there is nothing in writing for her policy/policies, and they won't honor their own services! Lots of Yelp complaints about this optical office and their poor customer service and wrong prescriptions. Were other complaints taken down as well? Why was my review taken down? I never review businesses; I simply return for service and refer my friends and family to support the great business in our community! However, my experience was so poor here, I am resubmitting my review after it was somehow taken down from Yelp!! I'll fight the crowd at Costco optical next time instead of returning to Rotten Apple of My Eye! Very disappointed with 3 wrong prescriptions consecutively...I also have a very mild prescription so it shouldn't be that complicated! She obviously has enough walk ins that she doesn't need returning customers! read more

I absolutely love Dr. Pham and her associates. I been going to them since Sears and now that she has her own facility. I take my whole family here. Had a grrat experience here today! I have gone to an eye doctor in Huntington Beach for 12 years, so I was a little nervous to switch (we are moving to the Riverside area), but actually I loved it! They had all the same modern eye testing machines as my other doctor, they were very nice and accomodating (I was late so sorry!!), but they still saw me, Dr. Thao Pham-Diaz was so nice and informative and had a very supportive and calming presence aboit her. She was very professional and I trusted my eyes to her. Her opticiams were great too and really helped me out with my insurance and ordering new contacts. It is a very clean office, so don't be nervous to go! They were not too many people there so everybody could maintain yheir space. If you are looking for an eye doctor in the Riverside or IE area...she is great! I'm pretty picky too so you can trust my opinion! read more

Dr. Thao Pham and her staff went above and beyond to ensure that I was safe, well taken care of, and happy with my overall experience.This was my first Doctor appointment since the COVID pandemic began, so I was a little nervous. The first thing I noticed when I booked my appointment is that they're only taking one patient per hour, that way they have enough time to disinfect all equipment between appointments. This is a huge deal to me, so I'm happy to say they exceed the CDC guidelines for safety measure implementation and also require masks to be worn while in the office. The office had flexible availability for appointments and I was able to get a next day appointment thru their online booking service -which I found to be incredibly user friendly. When I walked into the lobby I noticed the office was sleek, stylish, and smelled very nice and clean, as if they had just sanitized the room. Staff working the front desk were incredibly helpful throughout the appointment and answered all the questions I had. I walked in with hopes I could get a pair of glasses and maaaaaybe looking into booking an appointment for contact lenses (which I've never really worn before). I have MetLife vision insurance and for under $200 Dr. Thao Pham was able to help me get my glasses prescription, contact prescription, new pair of glasses with transition lenses (something I've ALWAYS wanted), and some trial contacts. The office offers an amazing array of frames that were totally covered under my insurance, in addition to Gucci, Chanel, Ray Band, and many other name brand frames. Lots of choices all around. I would definitely recommend this office for anyone in need of high quality vision care. I know I will be making my annual appointment with Dr. Thao Pham next year, and -in a perfect world- also get my mother switched over to this office too. I Went here a few months ago, first of all don't get me wrong the Doctor was very nice, but I purchad a set og glasses and they were not right at all, I did come back and the tried to correct them and they still was not right, the second set of lenes were bad, but I tried to work with them, I believe the lenses was of cheap materal they scrached very easily, I have had other glasses before and have never had this issue, I spent over $ 400.00 on a set of glasses that I cannot even wear, I just want people to know I believe they use inferior Materials, I have never written anything Like this Before I usually just take the lost and move on, But by me owning my own business this is not good read more

Fabulous experience here! I came in as a new patient since my previous optometrist no longer took my insurance. This office is so clean, neat, and pretty! I came in for contacts, but they had a great selection of glasses and carried designer as well. Dr. Pham is the absolute nicest, made me feel comfortable, and she explained everything and was informative the whole way through. The woman who helped me at the desk (sorry didn't catch her name) was very nice and straightforward when explaining pricing to me. I would also like to mention that when I scheduled my appointment over the phone a gentleman answered the phone and he had great customer service. Overall, I'm very happy with my visit here. Dr. Pham and the staff at Apple of My Eye Optometry are wonderful! They were all professional, friendly, and diligent during my visit. I could tell that Dr. Pham is passionate and caring towards all her patients and she made my experience there very pleasant. I was done with my exam and visit within 15 minutes of arriving. I was a patient when her office was located in Sears so I am glad to know her office relocated not too far from her old location. I would dread going to the optometrist because I need follow up at an ophthalmologist but I was very pleased to find out that Dr. Pham has the equipment necessary for me to be seen at her office for my reasons without referring out to an ophthalmologist.
