An amazing venue
Joel H.

This was just a delightful place to enjoy some lunch and a meeting with friends. We came here for an official Kiwanis meeting and it was just the perfect place. Very centrally located in town, we drove and parked with no problem. Being that this building is an old warehouse, there was plenty of parking and room inside. I just loved all the old pictures and nostalgia items throughout. Our dining area was very large and easily accommodated everyone very easily. There was enough space for a check-in and raffles. We conducted our meeting and proceeded on to lunch. I was surprised that there was only one server but she did a great job with our group. We all received our drinks in a very timely basis and all the main meals came out together and were served. Isn't this the way it's always supposed to happen? I had the cannelloni while my wife had a grilled chicken salad. All of the above was tasty-fresh and perfect temperature. This is definitely a fun place to come. They do a great job of welcoming you and helping you enjoy your time here. Food and service was wonderful. KUDOS's to the team at Spaghetti Warehouse.

Park and enter down here

It was hard to find this place, and once we did find the entrance down the sloped driveway, we found that there is an actual parking lot that was empty because everyone else like us thought the only lot was the street level one that was full, and parked on the street. See my photo for where to pull in to park. The atmosphere when we went in was questionable with a girls seating us who did not look like she wanted to be there, and a very confusing blend of decor of industrial factory and intricate stained glass and trolley car in the middle of the restaurant where families with kids were seated. But then things turned around when we had a nice waitress and the bread was delicious with a garlic herb butter. The eggplant parmesan was nice and crispy on the outside with a large portion of spaghetti. And the chicken riggies are labeled spicy and do have a nice little kick to them. It's not a fancy restaurant and is a good place to bring a family. They were not that busy and it's nice to have a place where you can stay and talk and not feel rushed, and still have good food at reasonable prices.

DONT DINE HERE. If I could rate this place ZERO stars, I would. However the 1 star is for the server who was working her butt off to accommodate my group Restaurant: as soon as you walk in you'll be hit with a very rancid smell- think dirty wet dogs who shook the water off & it seeped into a carpet that has not been changed in over a decade. The layout of the restaurant is cute- there is a train inside which you can dine in. My friend said he dined here years ago & the place has gone down hill since then. I didn't need to hear it has gone down hill, you can literally see & smell it By the bathrooms were FILTHY, I attempted to walk in but was hit with another very rancid smell & based on all the toilet paper that was by the entrance- I did not even bother to enter Unfortunately I was visiting from NYC & most of the restaurants in Syracuse were unable to accommodate a large group for early dinner so we got stuck with the Spaghetti Warehouse. I ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo and my friend got the scampi. We had to literally drown it with salt, pepper & cheese to add flavor. The food was so bland I almost thought I had Covid & it took away my taste buds but no, that was not the case If you think this review has a silver lining- it does not. I ordered a glass of Chianti to pair with what I thought would be a good spicy seafood meal. I took a sip- it tasted old, as if they just opened the bottle & never recorked it. I looked into the glass & Low & behold there was a FLY in the glass of wine. & not only was there a FLY, it was a LIVING FLY, it was swimming around in my wine. We immediately got the check & informed the server Super disappointed, this was my last dinner in Syracuse & it was not even enjoyable. I would NOT recommend this place. If you care about health and safety I would recommend shutting this place down, gut it then rebuild it with new ownership/management team.

We arrived late on a Thursday evening and place was virtually empty. our wedding soup was subpar and just didn't seem to be like regular wedding soup. we ordered the manicotti and an order of spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parm. The manicotti was undercooked and flavorless, the chicken park tasted like they pulled a frozen chicken tender out of the freezer and microwaved it, and my spaghetti and meatballs never made it to the table. When the waitress was serving us, the spaghetti ended up face down on the floor. They offered to put a new order in but at that point it was too late. We had almost finished, and the waitress was using a sweeper and cleaning the floor. she came to clear the plates when we were finished, and she came over with the vacuum!! why would you bring the vacuum? Then when she went to clear the dishes, she had the vacuum with one hand and picked up the other dishes, and once again they started to fall. This time I was able to catch the dishes for her. I was done at this point. she did point out that they "comped" the spaghetti dish. really?

I went their over the holiday weekend since it's been years since we last ate there. The place hasn't changed a bit! It still has the train car inside which was always fun to eat in. The place was very understaffed but those working were really hardworking and managed to pull everything off! The food was okay as far as pasta goes. The portion sizes are quite large and I enjoyed the ravioli. I tried a couple bites of the fettuccine alfredo but the sauce was lacking a bit of flavor sadly. Hopefully once they can increase their staff the quality will go up!

Stopped here to support local businesses with my wife while we are in the area. Friendly staff and good food. We ate around 7pm and the restaurant seemed a little light of customers and the food was really good. I had the chicken riggies and my wife had chicken and broccoli Alfredo. We both had a bit leftover to have for lunch tomorrow.

There was a lot of tension between staff, wasn't busy in there yet took an hour to get our food, and then when it did come out it was cold.

When we got there and added our name to the list, we didn't have to wait long to be seated. It was quite cozy inside and they have an outdoor patio as well. My friends ordered a drink they saw their Instagram which was the Cucumber Watermelon Sangria. They both loved it, I opted for water since I drank a bit this weekend already lol. We ordered appetizers and individual pizzas. I'm a sucker for a brussels sprouts appetizer and had to try theirs. This will be a repeat order, all the flavors balance each other so well(sweet, salty, and that mustard glaze yum). My friends enjoyed this as well. My friend's ordered the zucchini fritte and they enjoyed that. I ordered my favorite, tried and true The Calabrian (I love hot honey on anything lol). My friends ordered the Garlic & Broccolini (which would be my second choice). They both enjoyed their pizzas, my friend and I shared a sliced with each other. I like the garlic and broccolini as well, I enjoy a white sauce based pizza at times(I love broccoli on pizza, huge garlic person lol). They ordered dessert and coffee, and they both loved the pistachio crème brûlée. Overall it was a great evening with friends, delicious food and atmosphere. The service was friendly from when we arrived to the end. I'll add it to my date night list for my husband and I.

Service was so prompt and nice, and being able to order straight from your phone and pay/being able to walk away easily after was super convenient. I got the Meatball Riggie Turn Down (side) since I wasn't super hungry after traveling, and I definitely recommend this as a lunch portion - the side size was really filling and still pretty big. The meatball was incredible (and large) and the sauce of this pasta, while it had a little heat to it, was well seasoned and smooth. Great chill place with an awesome playlist of oldies music and the opportunity for indoor and outdoor scenic views.

We had dinner reservations elsewhere but were downtown early and were looking for a drink before dinner. We tried our usuals and the bar at each place was full. We ordered our usual (Manhattans). They were awesome. He offered us some bread and sauce to go with the drinks and we said sure - outstanding bread and the sauce was awesome. We ordered a salad with burrata and tomatoes which was also excellent. We had a great visit even though it was a short one. Why 4 stars? We are visiting again in October and our bartender helped us secure a dinner reservation. I figured I'd save the five star for that.

Moving inside was easy as they had a great table already set up in case of rain. I got the seafood risotto special. Because it was a special, the prices were not attached. If I knew it would've cost $42, I may have paused and not spent the money on it. However, I am glad I did not know the price and ended up getting it because it was the best dinner I have had in about a year. The fish was perfectly seasoned and complemented the risotto so well. The strawberries on it seemed like an odd choice, but the flavor combination was outrageous. It was extremely delicious. I got a summer risotto dish from Francesca's last year as well, it was also excellent. They do their flavor combinations so well. Overall, our group was extremely happy with our choices. It's not accommodating when you give me a table that I could have reserved myself because it was available. She did nothing for me and had a callous attitude towards my condition. She pretty much said take it or leave it. Nice!!!! Our server was nice but inattentive. Took 15 minutes to get water. The sauce with the bread was delicious. Some of the best I've had. The Arancini was ok. They use way too much breading and there's not enough sauce. It's supposed to be rice balls, not breading balls. My Chicken Parm was very tender but had no flavor. None. Needed more sauce. Pasta was very good. My wife had the Gorgonzola fillet medallions which were very rich ....to be expected. The portion was huge. She seemed to really enjoy it. There's enough leftover for another meal. In total, I was really put off by the callous attitude of my condition and how the manager pleaded with me that she was trying to accommodate me by giving me an open slot I could have reserved myself on open table. I pleaded with her about the condition, yet she didn't seem to care. Thank you!

I found this very odd and since I was on my own, I ventured on down anyway to see if I could score a spot at the bar, which I easily did because they were only 1/4 full and the bar only had 3 other people at it when I arrived. I believe the bartender's name was Justin and he was great... very friendly and helpful, as well as engaging. He constantly checked on me and discussed the menu and restaurant, as well as their offerings. I chose their All 'Amatriciana with their slightly breaded chicken breast on top. The chicken was so very good! The All 'Amatriciana itself was so bland. I was disappointed in how bland it was. There was no spice at all to it, so I asked for their crushed red pepper and ended up putting several spoonfuls on it - turns out their crushed red peppers are either old or stale, but they're definitely bland and useless, as they didn't add any spike to the flavor of this dish and if the chef used these to season this dish while making it, that would explain some of what it was so bland. I will say that their table bread was outstanding! It came with their whipped butter, seasoned with honey and parmesan and that combo was so good! Too bad I didn't order something else, like pizza, as this is what I initially saw in reviews that looked amazing. I'm sure they normally are great here, I just came on an off night.
