Service was so prompt and nice, and being able to order straight from your phone and pay/being able to walk away easily after was super convenient. I got the Meatball Riggie Turn Down (side) since I wasn't super hungry after traveling, and I definitely recommend this as a lunch portion - the side size was really filling and still pretty big. The meatball was incredible (and large) and the sauce of this pasta, while it had a little heat to it, was well seasoned and smooth. Great chill place with an awesome playlist of oldies music and the opportunity for indoor and outdoor scenic views.

This is a much shorter review than usual for me. We literally have been going to Syracuse for years…read morenow and have never been here because we can never secure a reservation. We had dinner reservations elsewhere but were downtown early and were looking for a drink before dinner. We tried our usuals and the bar at each place was full. Believe it or not, there 2 seats at Pastabilities. The bar was comfortable and the inside was dark and cool. We sat and were greeted by a very jolly bartender who took great care of us. We ordered our usual (Manhattans). They were awesome. He offered us some bread and sauce to go with the drinks and we said sure - outstanding bread and the sauce was awesome. We ordered a salad with burrata and tomatoes which was also excellent. We had a great visit even though it was a short one. Why 4 stars? We are visiting again in October and our bartender helped us secure a dinner reservation. I figured I'd save the five star for that.

Moving inside was easy as they had a great table already set up in case of rain. I got the seafood risotto special. Because it was a special, the prices were not attached. If I knew it would've cost $42, I may have paused and not spent the money on it. However, I am glad I did not know the price and ended up getting it because it was the best dinner I have had in about a year. The fish was perfectly seasoned and complemented the risotto so well. The strawberries on it seemed like an odd choice, but the flavor combination was outrageous. It was extremely delicious. I got a summer risotto dish from Francesca's last year as well, it was also excellent. They do their flavor combinations so well. Overall, our group was extremely happy with our choices. The service was impeccable. I wish I remembered our server's name. He was engaging, patient, and had a great personality.

They could only get us a bar section table at 7:15. I explained that I have a condition where breathing the toxic air would be harmful, yet the manager kept telling me she is trying to accommodate me. It's not accommodating when you give me a table that I could have reserved myself because it was available. She did nothing for me and had a callous attitude towards my condition. She pretty much said take it or leave it. Nice!!!! Our server was nice but inattentive. Took 15 minutes to get water. The sauce with the bread was delicious. Some of the best I've had. The Arancini was ok. They use way too much breading and there's not enough sauce. It's supposed to be rice balls, not breading balls. My Chicken Parm was very tender but had no flavor. None. Needed more sauce. Pasta was very good. My wife had the Gorgonzola fillet medallions which were very rich ....to be expected. The portion was huge. She seemed to really enjoy it. There's enough leftover for another meal. In total, I was really put off by the callous attitude of my condition and how the manager pleaded with me that she was trying to accommodate me by giving me an open slot I could have reserved myself on open table. I pleaded with her about the condition, yet she didn't seem to care. Thank you!

I checked OpenTable for 6:30PM on a Wednesday night and it said there was nothing within 3-1/2 hours. I found this very odd and since I was on my own, I ventured on down anyway to see if I could score a spot at the bar, which I easily did because they were only 1/4 full and the bar only had 3 other people at it when I arrived. I believe the bartender's name was Justin and he was great... very friendly and helpful, as well as engaging. He constantly checked on me and discussed the menu and restaurant, as well as their offerings. I chose their All 'Amatriciana with their slightly breaded chicken breast on top. The chicken was so very good! The All 'Amatriciana itself was so bland. I was disappointed in how bland it was. There was no spice at all to it, so I asked for their crushed red pepper and ended up putting several spoonfuls on it - turns out their crushed red peppers are either old or stale, but they're definitely bland and useless, as they didn't add any spike to the flavor of this dish and if the chef used these to season this dish while making it, that would explain some of what it was so bland. I will say that their table bread was outstanding! It came with their whipped butter, seasoned with honey and parmesan and that combo was so good! Too bad I didn't order something else, like pizza, as this is what I initially saw in reviews that looked amazing. I'm sure they normally are great here, I just came on an off night.

About as good as you can get for fried haddock. The sides include coleslaw and seasoned french fries. You get a bunch of delicious seasoned french fries but a very small portion of coleslaw.
