Joey's came highly recommend by the hotel staff... I choose the Joey's upstairs and really enjoyed the food. I had their Italian dinner which was lasagna, stuffed shell, egg plant Parm, Italian sausage, and a meatball. It came with a salad. The bread and butter were delicious. The food was really good. The service was really slow. It was a wait for everything.

Baked Rigatoni
Dan O.

The Pronto version of the Syracuse Classic. I haven't been here for several years but the food remains unchanged. Good quality salad with your pasta entree. Basic but fresh. Warm bread with a seasoned butter a nice accompaniment. Full menu, my selection was baked rigatoni. Great portion, enough to not be able to finish, but a few bites left if your one of those folks with a massive appetite. No fake cheese here, this is fresh whole milk mozzarella baked to just the right level. Did not disappoint. Excellent meat ball as well. Be warned, the sauce is good, tart and fresh, heavy on the garlic to the extent you should plan on a Zantac an hour after, but it felt great going down. Here's the kicker, all this for $20 & change after Tax & before tip. Better tell Joey to charge more so he can fix those potholes in the lot but there's nothing but good quality here.

The food- was really good. Home made ravioli, mozzarella sticks and red sauce/gravy. Meatballs were soft and tasty as was, I'm told the chicken parmigiana. Upstairs casual was how we went. Stairs are either up or down which is for dressy atmosphere. No handicap access. Bathrooms were in back and unique in color and design, but, clean. Colorations of design on floor, lights and pictures were bright and of a Poppy upbeat choices. (see pix) Had leftovers put in containers. 1 container was leaking. Waitress changed it out and had taken both containers. Lost the second one and was planning to give a new fresh order. Shortly after she came back with the second container -without the cover. Made me wonder where it had been. She put a new cover on it and gave it to us to take home. Service was good and night enjoyable.

I will start this as I always do by saying that I don't give out five stars unless I am really blown away. I eat here often for lunch. This is one of the best places around to get lunch. Best to get a reservation as it can fill up in a hurry. The food here is top notch and the portions are grande. I have never had a bad meal and doubt I ever will. Just starting with the bread and butter. The bread is so good I could fill up on that and the butter. Then comes appetizers I have tried a bunch but I like the Utica greens best. They have some real kick and that gets me every time. If you skip the shareable but want something before you meal get a bowl of the greens and beans. I could probably just do a bowl of that and the bread and be full but really I am here to eat to my heart's content so let's go! Hit that lunch entree button and away we go. If you like Italian come on in an put your bib on this place is your jam. The chicken parm will fill you up and then make you take a nap. Tell your boss what you had for lunch and they will be fine with you taking a nap at your desk. The ravioli's are so good that you should get a second order of them so you can have it for dinner too. If you need something lighter get the steak salad but get the dressing on the side so can control the amount. Otherwise (this is my only complaint) you may end up with tasting only dressing and missing out on the real flavors in the salad. If you get any sandwich or burger you will be very satisfied. The chicken parm sandwich is killer as well as the Philly. If you have not been here then you are missing out. Go now and have a great lunch.

Lemon cake 6.5/10 it was dry, the dollop of whipped cream really helped. I wouldn't order it again.

I brought my husband for a celebratory dinner. Our meal started off strong with friendly waiters and a killer appetizer of stuffed mushrooms. For entrees we got the lasagna and tortellini. Both were good, just small things that weren't our personal preferences. We came for their table side bananas foster, but it wasn't available that night. We ordered their lemon cake instead which was subpar. I hope when we return they have the bananas foster!

Homemade Ravioli
Olivia M.

BIGGEST RAVIOLI EVER! I absolutely loved the homemade ravioli at Pronto Joey's. I haven't been there in a little while but the ravioli is huge now! As Joey's is one of my favorite places for ravioli, I was very happy! They really take "Go big or go home" to heart. I really enjoyed the meal we had. The table got some toast with delicious garlic butter and salads came with most of our meals. The service was great! I'm always glad to go here for some fresh pasta and I can't wait to return again! One of these times if I have enough room in my stomach, I want to try out the delicious looking desserts I always walk past on the way in.

Fantastic Italian restaurant in Syracuse. I got their Eggplant Parmesan with a meatball and sausage. The sauce was delicious! It comes with a side salad. The parm peppercorn dressing is also delicious. My grandson got manicotti which he declared it was the best he's had. He got soup that tasted like a stuffed pepper soup. So good. All served with warm bread and whipped garlic butter. I definitely recommend Pronto Joeys!

Joey's fun decor.

I was very impressed! All fresh, authentic and high quality food. The calamari steak is a must. The bread came with garlic butter. No room for dessert but they looked great. Right off the Thruway! Such a nice treat.

Joeys veal parmigiana with Gluten free pasta! It's tender and crispy! They're fast and consistent. Worth the stop!

Service is excellent and the outdoor seating area is amazing. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Syracuse. The only problem I have is the parking. I highly recommend the arancini balls and the Utica greens for appetizers. The pasta I tried this time just needed a little salt but otherwise the dish was excellent. If the weather is nice sitting outdoors is awesome. It doesn't fell at all like you are in downtown Syracuse. The price is a little high but totally worth it with the food being so good and the helpings you get. I don't usually get dessert but the cheesecake looked so good I had to try it and I wasn't disappointed at all. I was overly full afterwards but totally worth it. I highly recommend you give this place a try

A little advice, try to make reservations before 7 PM because the restaurant gets very crowded later in the evening. The complimentary focaccia bread was absolutely delicious : soft, fresh, and full of flavor. We shared the mozzarella triangles as an appetizer, which were excellent. For my entrée, I ordered the pecan-crusted salmon salad and it was amazing. My lady bug had the ravioli, and so did snore bug , both really enjoyed it. Our waiter was outstanding: bubbly, attentive, and made the whole dinner even more enjoyable. The ambiance was vibrant and lively, perfect for celebrating after graduation weekend. Another plus is that the restaurant offers complimentary parking with several parking lots available nearby. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and would definitely come back!

We decided to share everything we ordered - risotto balls, fried mozzarella, wedge salad, chicken cutlets and pasta and it was fun! There's not too much seating but we didn't have to wait for a table and they do have an outdoor patio. John the owner is amazing!! We walked out and forgot our leftover box on the table and he ran them down the street to give to us! My friend also dropped her retainer and we didn't realize until after, once we got back to the restaurant he had it wrapped in a napkin for her! We went during the week so it was a quiet afternoon and we were seated immediately. We started off with a bottle of cab and their fried gnocchi and meatballs for appetizers. Wasn't able to get a picture of them as we dug in very quickly. They were both delicious and the marinara they use for sides is very flavorful and smooth. My boyfriend got the lasagna and I got the chicken cutlets with a side of pasta with their diavolina (spicy pink sauce). Both were fantastic and I loved the diavolina sauce, just the right amount spicy and very creamy. It went great with the chicken cutlets which were the perfect crisp. The owner actually came out to check on us throughout our dinner which was a nice surprise and was great to meet him. Love to see new restaurants on Westcott and look forward to trying other items on our next visit.

Then, For appetizers, the arancini, the polpette, the crab crostini, and the trapanese pizza. The Arancini were good, very cheesy. I loved the polpette - the meatballs had almost a crispy exterior, mix in the ricotta and they were excellent. The crab crostini special was just okay, not too special. The trapanese pizza was phenomenal - thin, crispy, cheesy. For entrees, with whatever room we had left, we tried the bolognese and the zozzona. Bolognese was good but the zozzona was great. The sauce was good and the sausage was very tasty. Wrapped it all up with an affogato. Would recommend!

I checked OpenTable for 6:30PM on a Wednesday night and it said there was nothing within 3-1/2 hours. I found this very odd and since I was on my own, I ventured on down anyway to see if I could score a spot at the bar, which I easily did because they were only 1/4 full and the bar only had 3 other people at it when I arrived. I believe the bartender's name was Justin and he was great... very friendly and helpful, as well as engaging. He constantly checked on me and discussed the menu and restaurant, as well as their offerings. I chose their All 'Amatriciana with their slightly breaded chicken breast on top. The chicken was so very good! The All 'Amatriciana itself was so bland. I was disappointed in how bland it was. There was no spice at all to it, so I asked for their crushed red pepper and ended up putting several spoonfuls on it - turns out their crushed red peppers are either old or stale, but they're definitely bland and useless, as they didn't add any spike to the flavor of this dish and if the chef used these to season this dish while making it, that would explain some of what it was so bland. I will say that their table bread was outstanding! It came with their whipped butter, seasoned with honey and parmesan and that combo was so good! Too bad I didn't order something else, like pizza, as this is what I initially saw in reviews that looked amazing. I'm sure they normally are great here, I just came on an off night.

Our apps of meatballs and calamari were good but when we got our red wine, it was freezing. Then we were waiting for at least a half an hour for our food. My sister was starting to worry about getting to her graduation despite us booking 2 hours ahead of her ceremony. When we received our food, all meals came except mine which was about 10 mins after everyone else. The best meals were the Chicken Riggies & Chicken Milanese. The Chicken Piccata was very heavy of Dijon and the Chicken Marsala tasted like Chicken Teriyaki; needless to say, neither dish tasted like its traditional description. Lastly, the Clam Provencal was void of flavor. Half of our party left as soon as I got my food and we paid the check so we weren't late to the ceremony, but then the rest of our party was asked to leave for another group. Sadly, it was different than what we were hoping for.
