We've been jonesing for a good shawarma for ages, so we went with beef shawarma over rice, and lamb chops over rice. We threw in some beef sambusas and eggplant salad. The only complaint we had was the wait time. We showed up when they told us to, but ended up waiting about 25 minutes in store for the food. The staff were really friendly, and had we not ordered to go, it would have been a comfortable place to dine in. The lamb meat was tender and delicious. Not a ton of seasoning, but probably because it didn't need it. I'm seeing more and more places doing red and white sauce like the Halal Guys in NYC, and I'm all about it. The red sauce is bold and spicy, the white sauce is cool and refreshing, like Greek yogurt. They go amazing together, and I'd eat them on anything. It included two heavily seasoned pieces of pita. I'm guessing they were seasoned specifically for this meal, because the fresh mint garnish added a huge layer to the lamb meat. If you order this, I recommend asking for a ton of extra pitas seasoned just like that, even if you have to pay more. The shawarma is one of our favorites. They're not stingy with the sauce, and there's a good mix of veggies and lettuce. Extra credit for Lebanese pickles, they went a long way. The beef was a little chewy, but packed a punch. It's coated in a thick brown sauce that tastes similar to A1, but the meat itself is packed with different tastes - most notably nutmeg. I'm guessing they season it with garam masala. We definitely would have ordered some pitas if we knew it didn't include them. The sambusas were packed full of ground beef. The texture was pretty tough, but once you get past the corners they're so packed it doesn't matter. It seemed to be mostly just ground beef with little or no seasoning, but it came with a pretty flavorful dip. Not sure if it has a name, but it's Greek yogurt whipped into a frothy mixture and mixed with mint. It had a super light and airy texture that didn't match our expectations for a yogurt based dip. If you leave it for too long, it'll fall back down into an unpleasantly thin liquid like whipped cream. Texture aside though, the taste is immaculate and turned a bland sambusa into a full spectrum of flavor. Finally, we have the eggplant salad. This was our first time trying it, so I have nothing to compare it with. We tried to Google it to get a feel for what we were ordering, and the images were all over the map. I'm not sure if there's a standard or if it's a free for all. What we got was a very creamy mix of eggplant, roasted red peppers and onions. I'm guessing a lot of the creaminess is tahini, which gives it a toasted/smokey taste. It was unlike anything we've ever had before, and we're absolutely hooked. I'll definitely make sure I have pitas for it next time, it's pretty intense eating something this creamy by itself. This has been one of our favorite take out meals in a while. I hope these guys are here to stay.

The ambiance was upbeat, energetic, and fun, and it made the evening feel extra special. We also ran into so many friends throughout the night, which added to the celebratory atmosphere. To start, we shared the arancini and the burrata. The burrata was definitely my favorite of the two , fresh, creamy, and very flavorful. The arancini was good, although not quite as memorable for me. For my entrée, I ordered the sea bass with a mango sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked and the mango sauce added a great balance of sweetness and freshness to the dish. The risotto on the side was okay, but the sea bass itself truly stood out. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner here and would definitely come back. The atmosphere was vibrant, the food was enjoyable, and what made the experience even better was the service. Our waiter was incredibly kind, attentive, and sweet throughout the evening, which made us feel very welcomed. It turned out to be such a fun and memorable night.

They serve cold bread when you're seated and drinks took forever with an almost completely empty restaurant. My pasta tasted fine but there was much more sauce than pasta. I appreciate that they have mocktails listed on the main menu, the cocktails are pretty good, and the cucumber feta appetizer is great. I'd maybe use this an appetizer/drinks spot if you have to be in the area. It's too pricey to be this mid

This is the type of place where you have to make sure you have time because they have a small staff and make everything with lots of care -- but the wait is worth it. The employees will bring your order right to your car when it's ready (if you don't want to wait at the window.) The Buck is one of my favorites. It has strawberry jelly and peppery cheese and is scrumptious. Often I like to eat it right away in the car, but it's wrapped in a foil later and does keep well if I go home. A very unique spot unlike anything in Syracuse and I'd recommend stopping by to try at least once -- even if you're not vegan or vegetarian!

I really like that everything is vegan as someone who used to be vegan I think it's great to have some options around Syracuse. My coffee was AMAZING! Some of the best coffee i've had in a long time and I can't wait to try some other coffees on their menu. I really want to try their strawberry milk cold brew but they were out today. I tried the rambler and it is huge, filling, smells so good, and tastes even better! I'm not a huge fan of the fake bacon but again, it's great to have a spot with vegan options. Everyone who works here is amazing as well! You order at the window and they come out and deliver it to your car. Today was a cold snowy day, with snow banks taking over the sidewalks and they are all still out here delivering down the street right up until close. I told the man who brought the food to my car how amazing he is and he said I was amazing for coming out - such a great attitude as well! I will definitely be coming back!

We ordered the Large Fricassee Chicken (with chicken leg and chicken tender) and the Small Curry Chicken. The woman who was working was very kind, answered all our questions, and gave us recommendations! The small entrees came with 1 side which was the Cabbage (meat also served over rice and beans). I absolutely loved both meats I tried. The Fricassee Chicken had both juicy and some slightly tougher spots but was overall very flavorful. It came with bell peppers which brought a nice bright crunch to the heavier meal. The Curry Chicken was also very flavorful and saucy. For the sides: Personally, I'm not a mac and cheese fan but this was soo good. I highly recommend getting the large; great portion size and definitely can fill you up for 2 meals easily. I loved trying a bit of everything together - the chicken, the mac and cheese, the sauce, the rice and beans... soo good. I'd recommend you come and support a locally owned business!
