Giving top 10 customer service. (Knowing your customers) We got signed in and the soothing started.... Micah was my guy. He was amazing. Very patient, very polite, and the sound of his voice is very soothing. I love that he checked on me throughout the massage, to make sure I was okay. After my massage my body didn't feel the same. My legs and arms felt amazing. The slogan for this spa is 100% true, that's exactly how I felt. "Walk in, float out" I was on cloud 9. The customer service was AMAZING. This is a MUST go to spot. Great location!! Super clean, super nice, super friendly!! Location: Easy to find. Service: I received the deep tissue massage and my friend had a prenatal massage. Pricing: Very reasonable $$ of $$$ Parking: Great parking; garage parking. They do validate parking. Ladies Room: Absolutely gorgeous. Anything you could ever need was in there. (feminine hygiene and more) The lighting in this place is WONDERFUL. Oh my God I was in love with just the ladies room. Wait did I mention the steam room? (You have to go to understand my feelings) Staff: Travis, Micah, Taylor: You guys gave me everything and more. Thank you!! COVID policies: They are doing amazing, sanitizing your mask or jewelry mask. Each chair or glass. Don't let COVID stop you unless you are sick. I don't want to give away the entire experience but a few things that I've noticed: - They currently sanitize your mask while you're getting your service done. And they provide you with a disposable mask when you're face up getting a massage, so that you can get your face/head somewhat massaged too! - You get undressed in the room with the therapist there...so I jumped right under the sheet as she held the blanket up. - The Spa Uilani special massage was more like a sports medicine type of massage that tailored to specific problem areas. - Afterwards, we enjoyed this Hibiscus Tea which was not too floral at all, served alongside this okoshi (Japanese puffed rice treat). - And during the session they remembered me saying that we're celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and they brought out a cupcake for him to enjoy! They even brought out one for me too, so that he wouldn't have to enjoy it alone! Totally unexpected but we are truly grateful for that gesture. - They validate majority of the parking and for 1 hour of services, we ended up paying $3 to get out of the parking garage. Location: This spa is located right in the SALT & Kakaako area in town. It's located right behind down to earth. I just parked in the SALT parking structure & had my parking validated for there. The spa is absolutely beautiful and pristine! I have been to a lot of spas for facials / massages in Honolulu, Chicago, LA, etc. (my favorite self care activity,) & I have to say this spa has to be one of the most beautiful I've been to. EXPERIENCE: When you arrive you are given a beautiful heavy robe and slippers. The locker rooms and changing room also feature a steam room (I didn't get to try it this time but I will next visit!) We then made our way to the relaxation room where we prepped by relaxing over lemon water and relaxing music. For our facials I had the hydra jelly 30min facial & my sister had the retinol facial 60min. The facial was INCREDIBLE (for both of us.) I personally have sensitive dry skin, while my sister has acne prone skin. We both walked out GLOWING! When we were done we were given a delicious matcha and lemon drink and sat in the lounge to relax. I left walking on a cloud! The staff was incredible & my FAVORITE part of the facial was the massage portion. I really felt relaxed, and I feel it was a bit of lymphatic drainage which I always appreciate and love. I came to Oahu for a bachelorette trip and was honestly so incredibly excited for the relaxation portion - a spa day with the girls. We chose U'ilani and made a reservation for 8. Let's navigate through the subpar experience together - 1. They pushed our appointment time back for whatever reason - fine, no issue, we adjusted our plans. 2. When we arrived, they only had enough masseuses to accommodate half of our group. The other half had to wait over an hour to be seen. The amenities were pleasant but we were on a schedule and had to adjust our Bach schedule a second time. 3. The Lymphatic Massage was a sick joke and absolute waste of money. If I could give the massage itself -5 stars, I would. And here's why: - There no skin contact/everything was done with a towel barrier. - No oil was used because again - the skin wasn't touched. Feet were untouched complete. - The masseuse didn't check in once about pressure or lack there of. - It was basically a child's game of patty cake with my body for $160 dollars. - I asked the masseuse if the entire experience was going to be pressing and tapping instead of massaging. She didn't have much to say except "it's different but supposed to be soothing." 4. Validation did not cover our parking. 5. They had limited locker space so we had to relocate some of our stuff into the men's locker room. The staff gave us a few snacks and one mimosa each to apologize for the scheduling issues, which was nice. But again, I was here for a massage, not food. I left this spa more tense than I had entered it (can you imagine). My other friends had better experiences but the bride, who chose the same massage as I did, agreed that it was terrible and a waste of time. Overall, the staff was nice and the facility was clean, but the ridiculous price for a "massage" my friend could've done in the comfort of our hotel was wild to me. read more

I've been wanting to try this spa for a while now. I was happy to hear that they had an opening for me in the afternoon on a Saturday. It is located in Kakaako. Parking is easy, just park in the visitor parking of K lane. The spa is very clean and staff are super friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival they make you take off your shoes and they are stored in a white container. They give you slippers. I love the decor, it is whimsical, relaxing, and fun! They have storage lockers, showers, and a steam room. I loved the relaxing lounge with light snacks and bottled water. When you go in for your service they put your phone and mask in a sanitizing box so it's nice and clean for when you leave. I had a 60 minute massage, I had to wait a little bit as they sanitized the room, but my massuse let me know and she used the whole 60 minutes to do my massage. The price is good. Every time I call the front desk it's always a very calming and gentle voice on the other end. Taylor and Travis at the front desk are always so helpful and has helped me get into the spa on tightly scheduled days. Inside the spa you'll find locker rooms with literally everything you need - The steam room is located in each locker room and it's free for you to use before or after your treatment. My favorite room is the Ola room which is basically where you go and relax before & after your treatment. It always has the most beautiful and breathtaking decorations!!! I love going in there and just enjoying the space and letting go of everything. It's a very nice room that sets this spa apart from other spas... best spa experience EVER. i'm not exaggerating, it was what i always wanted from a day at the spa. we did a girls day here for my friend's birthday. it was so clean, the bathroom was stocked with everything you could need. it was easter weekend, and i've never known that easter decorations could look so sophisticated. then there was the massage. i prefer more pressure because i build up lactic acid so fast & have always had a problem with massage therapists going too light. so i was nervous when i saw yumiko because she is such a petite person, but let me tell you, yumiko knows exactly what she is doing! i felt so restored after & really wish i did 90 minutes instead. we all met back up in the lounge and had some food & drinks that were all very delicious. 10/10 would recommend this place over & over again. read more

I absolutely love this spa! I've been here a couple times before and I always have a great experience. This time I got the 60 minute Swedish massage and 60 minute Marini Luminate facial. Both were super relaxing! I had Derek for my massage and Yuki for my facial. Derek had the perfect pressure and I easily fell asleep during my massage. I told him that my lower back was bothering me and when the massage was done I felt SO relieved. At the end, we could hear loud noises and people talking. He kept apologizing but after such a wonderful massage, I didn't mind. My facial was just as relaxing. Yuki was great at analyzing my skin and sharing some tips, which I greatly appreciate. She was so sweet and told me the products she was using. I can't tell you the exact process because just a few minutes into the facial I was out cold! I think I even snored a few times...sorry! I seriously couldn't believe how gentle and comforting it was. Next thing I knew the facial was over and my skin was glowing! The spa is extremely clean and they make sure to sanitize everything. As soon as you walk in, you check in and they give you slippers and the comfiest robe. They show you to the changing room, which contains showers, lockers, the steam room, and various toiletries. In the treatment rooms you are given a pouch to put your things in (mask, phone, etc) which sanitizes them while you receive your services. I had a short wait in between my massage and facial so I was able to relax in the lounge room. The lounge room is a bit small but I love that they offer bottled water and trail mix. I was able to schedule a facial online through their website easily with my desired date and time and esthetician. For my first visit, I had Amy and the service I selected was the 60 min Marini Luminate which is meant to improve texture and luminosity for brighter vibrant skin. My main goal was just getting my face massaged, but Amy did a great job at providing a relaxing experience for me to enjoy the treatment that left my skin looking and feeling so healthy! My friend even commented afterward how my face was 'glowing' and I owe it all to the treatment and Amy's magic hands! After your service, you can enjoy some time to yourself in the sauna or the lounge where you're given complimentary tea and refreshments (I recommend their custom hibiscus tea blend, which is also for sale in the lobby). This is a mini version of a resort hotel spa. It was affordable, clean and very professional. It's located in the same building as the down to earth across of H mart in Kaka`ako. You park in the parking structure where you'd park if your going to down to earth. When you check in they hand you a hot towel for your hands, have you sign a waiver, then take your slippers and give you a pair of their rubber slippers and a robe. You are then shown to the locker room where you dress down into your robe to your best comfort. The locker room was really clean. There were 2 toilets, 2 showers, 1 sauna room and 2 sinks. They have things for you to use such as towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap, shavers, shower caps, a blow dryer, q-tips, make up pads, lotion, hair combs, toothbrush and toothpaste. The lockers are simple, pick one, put your stuff in, lock it and take the key with you. Once you've changed into your robe and your ready, you wait in the lounge for someone to get you for your treatment. The lounge is tiny and can fit up to 9 people in it. The lounge had bottled water and little trail mix snacks for us to enjoy. I got the uilani massage and the C-Esta facial. My massage was relaxing and perfect. I think My masseuse's name was Asia. She was really great and professional in mannerisms and checking on me throughout the massage. Another woman did my facial. She was Amazing as well. This was my first time experiencing a facial and it was such a relaxing and cleansing experience. I got my skin consultation before the treatment and she even extracted everything from my nose. My nose is so smooth and free of blemishes. it probably hasn't felt like this since I was a child! After my treatments, they had me sit in the lounge to wind down and bring you a beverage and snack. I got a hot apple cider tea and a mini chocolate covered pretzel. Then you can go back to the locker room when your ready to get ready and check out. I like it firm and I got firm all the way to the end of my deep tissue massage. I love they have a steam room, nice shower, lockers, and restroom. They also have a nice relaxation room where they gave me a refreshing drink and a lil snack. They even went further in making my day special as this was a treat from my wife for my birthday where they brought me a nice cupcake with a lit candle in the relaxation room along with a card from the wife...what a nice arrangement. My BFF and I were overdue for some quality girl time and stress relief, so we booked deep tissue massages at Spa U'ilani. Sure, we could've booked elsewhere for cheaper, but wanted to indulge a little at a place where we could lounge a bit and then shower before some retail therapy. Everyone from Travis, who helped us book our appointments, to the receptionist, to our massage therapists were super friendly. Never once felt as if we didn't belong here (which is how another spa-which-shall-remain-nameless treated me). Everyone work masks, and everything was super clean. I could've used more pressure for my massage, but my therapist recommended I go easy since it had been a while since my last massage. After an hour that went by wayyyy too fast (doesn't it always?!), BFF and I were treated to delicious hibiscus tea and some Mac nut okoshi. We giggled with each crunch of the okoshi because it sounded ridiculously loud in the peaceful lounge. And ok, I've never been fond of hibiscus anything, but the tea was DELICIOUS. They also provided some mini bottles of water and some kind of healthy trail mix (BFF had some, but I didn't so I can't describe it). After we had lounged sufficiently, we headed for the showers. The square rainfall type showers were so relaxing, and even though we didn't need it, there was a hair dryer, individually-wrapped hairbrushes, and lotion. I am currently in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy and for my "push present", my hubby gifted me a Spa Uilani membership after hearing positive reviews from our friend. We chose the Keawe Hybrid (60 min) where I can choose one massage OR one facial for $90/month for a 1-year duration. There was also a one time membership fee of $60. Thus, the total for my first visit was $157 including tax but if I hadn't gotten the membership, the 60 min prenatal massage would have been $130 so becoming a member is 100% worth it!!! Now onto the spa experience: I called on Tuesday to book my appt and Taylor was able to accommodate me as the first slot on Saturday. When I arrived, I was greeted by Taylor and Paige. They provided a clear box for my slippers and gave me black spa slippers. I was very impressed Taylor guessed my foot size so accurately because the spa slippers were a perfect fit. Paige showed me the facilities and let me know my massage therapist, Lole, would find me in the lounge. I was provided the most comfortable plush robe to change into and since I was the first client, I had the whole locker room to myself! The locker room has a steam room, multiple showers, private stall restrooms, a huge mirror and lockers for your personal items. *Make sure you take off your hair tie and jewelry!! The lounge was extremely relaxing. I laid there for about 5-10 min enjoying the instrumental music. They provide snacks and bottled water so I made sure to hydrate before my massage. Lole was prompt and walked me to the treatment room. I LOVED the massage! They have a fancy pregnancy bolster pillow where I was able to lay face down and have my belly supported. It basically looks like a "U" and I could rest my belly between the two cushions. SO comfortable! Lole was extremely knowledgeable on prenatal massage and communicated clearly the whole time. She is an absolutely lovely lady with strong hands! The pressure was perfect and individually tailored to my preference. She relieved my hip pain, worked on my sciatica and loosened my shoulders. Additionally, she did a few maternity leg stretches to loosen up my pelvis. The best part was she flipped my onto my back and raised the top half of the bed because she knew I would be uncomfortable fully flat. I felt like I was on a throne with the amount of cushions and support around me! I really appreciated how much she empathized with me, Lole shared she has four beautiful children and she understands how my body must be feeling. Since this is my first pregnancy, I felt incredibly reassured chatting with her. **If there are any partners thinking of what they should gift their pregnant goddesses, definitely consider gifting a Spa Uilani membership! Omgosh where to begin. From VERY start to end my experience with Spa U'ilani was AMAZING. I first requested a quote via Yelp to celebrate our anniversary and Travis(manager) responded in a timely manner. He assisted me on choosing the right package for my wife and I on our anniversary. My wife did a one hour spa U'ilani jetpeel facial, then after we both did a one hour & half Swedish couples massage. Spa U'ilani is located in the Keauhou Lane condos near down to earth & Ya-Yas chophouse. Upon arrival we were greeted by the front desk employee where they give you house sandals and take your footwear and store it in a plastic bin. We were then escorted to the Men & Women locker rooms where we were given a robe to change into and shown where the Ola lounge room was to wait for our therapist to come get us. The locker room had lockers for your belongings, one huge shower, one steam room, and they provide you with disposable shavers/comb/toothpaste/toothbrush, even body spray. My wife said in women's locker room, they had a vanity with blow dryer etc, perfect since we needed to get ready for our dinner after. My wife was doing her facial first, so for an half an hour I utilized the steam room inside the men's locker room. After steaming I took a shower and freshened up to wait in lounge room. The lounge room is a pretty good sized waiting area, with couches and lounge beds to relax. Also snacks & water is provided. Also throughout locker room & lounge room relaxing spa music is played throughout. I actually took a 10 min power nap before my wife came back into lounge area to wait for our couples massage. My wife enjoyed the jetpeel, that she noticed she was glowing while she was getting ready as well as when we got home from our all day date. Our couples massage was one of the BEST experiences We've ever had. My wife's therapist was Hau'Oli, who also did her facial, and mines was Yumi. A few things they do I thought was very interesting & cool, When you 1st enter room they greet you with a small case to place your mask inside, then when they turn you over to lay on your back they put a hairnet over your face to hold towel that's covering your eyes. That's cool cause most times the towel tends to fall off as they do neck and head massages. After our massages they were waiting for us at lounge and there was a snack assortment of cheese & crackers, fruits, their signature tea, and champagne with a Special "Happy Anniversary" note. TOTALLY SURPRISED & AWESOME!! We enjoyed our snacks, then my wife and I both went back to locker rooms to get ready for our dinner. Our overall experience was OUTSTANDING! The staff were all courteous & friendly and our treatments were beyond our expectations. Spa U'ilani lived up to their motto, "Walk in and Float out". Came here last month and it was so relaxing. You get signed in and they hand you slipper and robes and go to the changing rooms where there are showers/steam room. It was very clean and peaceful. I got a facial and massage both great! read more

I give it 5 stars because the service was awesome. You can really tell they want to make sure you have a great experience to fit every request you have. With the pandemic they had to make sure everything was followed by guidelines to have their business up and running. My friends and i went to celebrate a friends 40th birthday and they were very accommodating. My friend made the reservations and the staff planned it out to make sure our massages and facials ended the same time. After our massages we were greeted with a wonderful chacuterie board with champagne and wonderful cupcake. They took care of everything and we didnt have to stress over who is bringing what. They also have a MUST try hibiscus ice tea. Wonderful! Parking is in the parking structure for the public and they validate. I enjoyed the huge showers, fluffy towels and sauna in the bathrooms. They provide body wash, shampoos, conditioners, slippers, robes, and lockers for personal items. Note: go a little early so you can use the sauna before your massage or you could do it after too. My shoulders have been needing a massage lately. Micah was my masseuse and he listened to instructions of my dos and donts. I appreciate that. I suggest to communicate with your masseuse to let them know and you will definitely enjoy your massage. read more

This spa is truly such a gem. From the moment you walk into the spa they are so kind and welcoming, the spa smells amazing and so do their products. My favorite part a side from the facial itself is the steam room!!! Ahhhhh so blissful. I had Hau'oli this time as my esthetician and she was really sweet and gave me an amazing facial. One of the best massages I've had! Definitely worth every penny! Service was FANTASTIC. It was my friends birthday and they celebrated with a mini cake roll. Massages were amazing. Only thing is they have one couples massage room so my SO and I went after my friend and her husband. But they accommodated us in a way that we were able to sing happy birthday to her with the cake after her massage. Massage was AMAZING. Almost too good? I fell asleep when they gave me a head massage. It was too relaxing! Loved how they also had the sauna in the washrooms. Definitely utilized before showering after the massaged. I would like to thank my masseuse, Ernie, for doing a wonderful job and walking me through breathing techniques. Also, Tinny, my husband's masseuse was great! My husband had a shoulder injury a while back and she helped loosen it. Overall, this was the most relaxing experience for my husband and I. We left the spa feeling like we were floating on clouds.
