I'm always shocked when I've been getting great service for years and I haven't reviewed them!! Recommended! I have been coming to June for facials for years!! (I swear I reviewed her 15 years ago lol) More than a decade ago I saw her on Yelp and booked an appointment for a back facial. I had little white heads on my back I wasn't used to so had to get it taken care of!! I wanted to book another session after so they would bit return but she was honest with me that it wasn't bad and it may be a one off occurrence. I appreciated her SERVICE not her greed to book me for unnecessary services. That stood out to me. So I didn't return based on her recommendation. Maybe 6 years or so ago from today after a divorce, it was time for some self care. I went back because of the trust I felt from the long ago experience. I've been getting facials monthly since then and I honestly get a lot of compliments on my skin! I do get the brightening and light treatment. Since I've been religious about my appointments I haven't had much extraction work, but she always checks and takes care of any clogged pores. I took my teenage son after a clogged pore kept getting bigger by his nose over the months and was super noticeable gross. The clog was no match for June and it healed up nicely to not blemish his face anymore. See June if you want a facial. I love June and you will too!! Promise! I came here at the recommendation from a friend at a dermatology clinic. I tried making an appointment at my dermatologist's office only to find out that she was extremely booked and I really didn't want to wait months to see her and wait again for a long time in the office just to be seen. I happen to be friends with one of the front staff and she suggested that I see June. Only caveat is my insurance won't cover facials but the treatment I was looking for was something my dermatologist would charge me for each area (ex. 10 spots $10.00 each - I exaggerate of course but you get the picture). Plus no guarantee that my MD will want to meticulously do what I want her to do on my face. Without divulging too much, I wanted June to fix some problematic areas I have around my eyes and despite my lame attempts to fix it I was just too scared to mess with delicate skin around my eyes. June is just the person you'd want working on your face! She'll first steam your face (to soften it up and ready it for cleansing), cleanses it and begins to pick at every spot her keen and sharp eyes could see! She's a perfectionist by nature and quite OCD (just the type you'd want working on you)! She as able to treat all my problem areas without inflicting too much pain on me. The perfect ending was the cool, clay mask that she layers onto your face to end the session. She was just so wonderful! I have a low tolerance for pain but an even lower tolerance for the milia that have been showing up on face over the years so I bit the bullet and booked a facial with June based on the great Yelp reviews. Absolutely worth it! Her place is on the second floor of the Kaheka Professional Center and it was easy to find parking on the street (the meters on Kaheka accept credit cards). June was really cool, very down to earth and personable, I felt at ease with her very quickly and trusted her with my face. After completing a form in her waiting area, she led me to the facial room. After quickly assessing the state of my face, she offered waxing for eyebrows and upper lip, which I was thrilled about since I didn't know she offered those services. The waxing, steaming, face massages and cooling mask at the end were all wonderful, and the extractions were not as painful as I anticipated. She warned me that one particular area around my eye would be scabby if I didn't keep it moist, so I made sure to do so, and three days later, no scarring. I really enjoy going to June's Facials for my extractions as it's really helped in clearing up my skin. I recommend going to June to clear out acne and clogged pores. I usually get the Deluxe LED Lights Treatment, which is her normal deep cleaning extractions + LED Light and my skin always feels so soft and smooth afterwards. Note, the extractions are painful, but usually only lasts 20mins? and comes with a cooling rubber clay mask afterwards. It's only been a few days since I got my facial by June and so far my skin is looking amazing! I have really stubborn acne and have seen multiple facialists and doctors over the last couple years and no one has been able to make my face look as good as June! She was great at replying via text, and communicated very well prior to my appointment. Parking is available on the street (meter) or in a private lot of her building. June washed, cleansed, and massaged (neck, arms, shoulders, back, and face throughout the facial --this was heavenly!! At the end, she placed a mask appropriate for your facial needs & let it set for roughly 15min. The whole procedure lasted about 80 minutes. Just went to June for my third Gentlemen's facial with her. Decided I was going to be a repeat customer after my first appointment. I think June is very personable and knowledgeable/very good at her craft. I've gotten facials from other places and they were really painful but I think with her it's a lot more bearable. Not sure if she's just better at extraction or what. She isn't pushy about selling you other services or products which is really nice. I've been seeing some improvements in my skin. I think some of the acne craters on my face have gotten smoothed out a bit we'll see how much more it improves as this was only my 3rd visit. Parking at the building is free with validation. I am so grateful to June! I took my 17-year-old son to have an acne facial with June (I didn't use the word "facial" with him; I called it a "treatment" because most men aren't gonna do anything called a facial lol). His face was really bad due to wearing his face mask at work all day. Four days post-facial, his face looked so good, and 7 days post-facial, his skin was completely clear. Prior to the start of 2017, my skin was poreless and clear. Then, idk what happened because my diet hadn't changed and I was using the same products I always have but I broke out massively. It started to clear up a little towards 2018 but from having absolutely nothing wrong with my face to all this really got to me. I waited anxiously for a month because June was booked, I'm not surprised! Turns out she is Korean and that was also not a surprised and it was also a relief for me because Koreans are into skincare. They take very great care of their skin and that's also probably why June is fair and flawless lol. At first I was intimidated of how painful the extractions would be but to be honest, it wasn't as bad as I expected. I think the stinging sensation of when she put the disinfecting treatment on my face after the extractions was the most "painful" of it all LOL. I felt very comfortable the whole time through because June was very heartwarming and we talked throughout the facial. She's very sweet and has a very motherly personality It's been 2 days post-facial and I still have the post-extraction scarring hoping they will eventually fade away (the most of my worries right now) and I honestly wasn't 100% sure if it might have done much to my face until today. The moment I had finished with putting makeup on, I noticed that my face looked smooth. Majority if not almost all of the small bumps I've had that bothered me on my forehead, cheek and nose aren't there anymore. My skin feels smooth to the touch as well and that makes me happy.
