Such an incredible first time experience having my first facial done. I've always been nervous to have one done because my skin is super sensitive and I tend to be very hypochondriac/ anxious to try anything out of fear I'll have a allergic reaction but after reading the reviews about the organic products that are very sensitive skin friendly, and after reading the wonderful reviews about Dominika, i decided to come in and try for the first time and it was the most attentive gentle and wonderful experience. She is incredibly skilled , deeply focused and detail oriented - and very easy to talk to . She was always checking on me and asking if I was okay and she emphasized very kindly if anything was too much or if I wanted to even lower the steam to not hesitate to ask her so the experience would only be enjoyable. She's very easy to talk to about having issues with sensitive skin . I scheduled the appointment very last minute on the same day when I called on the phone to see if she had any possible availability and she kindly said she could squeeze me in at 7:00pm - and when I arrived I asked her a bit last minute if we could add some waxing and she was kind enough to try and accommodate since I was the last appointment of the day and I came a little early - even though I definitely should have scheduled it in advance out of respect to her work flow - I will definitely plan and schedule in advance through the app for next time ! I'm very grateful to have had my first experience with someone so focused, detail oriented- kind and attentive and thoughtful especially as an anxious person with sensitive skin- oh and the products felt and smelled so lovely- they weren't too strong at all for me which is normally the case- they felt so natural and refreshing and had such a lovely feel and scent. My friend invited me to this new Spa shop to do a facial treatment. First time doing an awesome spa treatment. I was a bit nervous because I'm not used to people touching my face. As we walked in we were welcome by Dominika. She showed us the room and told us about their new shop. The room was really nice and peaceful. The light was a bit dim and there were music and an essential oil smell. Very relaxing and calming. Dominika looked at my skin and knew what treatment to do for me. I have bad acne breakouts in the last two years, and I'm willing to try anything to make my skin better looking again. I like that she explained how and what the treatment will be like. This makes me less nervous knowing what's going to happen. I laid down comfortably and let Dominika do the magic. Along the way, she would tell me what she is putting on me and what it is for. She first steamed my face to open up the pores. After, she put on a facial cleanser. Next was a mask. While waiting for the mask, she gave a bonus hand/arm massage. It felt very relaxed and I just wanted to fall asleep. After the mask was washed off, she used a high-frequency machine to work on my acne. She told me it would be a little tingle but will not be painful. She put a cloth on my face when she used the machine on my face. I felt fine. It took about 5 minutes or so. This was my first time at Organic Spa and I loved it! I got a facial done by Dominika, who was kind, pleasant, and professional. The facial lasted about an hour, which included relaxing music, a face steamer to open up pores, exfoliation, blemish extraction, different kinds of clay masks (depending on your skin type and area of the face), a high frequency oxygen treatment to kill acne bacteria, and moisturizer/serum at the end to soak in. Organic Spa is the first spa in Honolulu to use all natural and organic products, so I was really excited to get a mini facial there. I don't usually get facials because I feel like I don't really need them. My skin doesn't break out THAT often, but when it does I always wonder how and why... Is there something that I should be doing that I'm not? Dominika was very helpful and knowledgable. Based on my skin type, she determined what cleanser and mask would be most beneficial for my face. Before she did anything, she would explain the treatment to me and I really liked that. Dominika started off by steaming my face to open up my pores and then she used an eucalyptus cleanser all over my face. I could feel it cleansing and relieving my skin without drying it out. Eucalyptus is also known for having anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties. Next, was my favorite part - the mask! The one Dominika chose for my skin type was an organic red lava mineral mask. It provided light exfoliation with purifying benefits, which was perfect because I had a small pimple on my cheek... and afterwards I could see it was less red and flat! It was amazing. I could also feel that my face was much smooth and softer. I was super comfortable during my whole facial experience that I almost fell asleep. Had a relaxing anti aging facial with Dominika. I booked my appointment through the yelp app and she responded right away. I didn't need to provide my credit card to hold my appt and she was able to see me last minute. I believe she rents space in a neurologist office so when I went they were already gone for the day = quiet. Only thing is I had a hard time finding the ofc because the signs for the neurologist were more prominent. Look for pictures of a brain. It is literally a couple doors down from First Hawaiian Bank. Park in a Visitor stall. I didn't pay to park. I liked the smells of the organic products. She also used infrared light on my age spots. So decided to try this place because I have super sensitive skin and my skin was in need of a facial. Dominika is SUPERRR sweet, she's the owner. I was hesitant because my skin is super sensitive but I could tell right away I wasn't going to have a reaction. As soon as she put on some product my face wasn't tingling and stinging. Everything was great. The products smelt good too! Just part is the parking is small, so try not to go during peak time. I came for my first acne facial and Brazilian wax. I was so nervous but Dominika was very calming and made the experience fantastic. She told me everything she was going to do before she did it. I asked to do the Brazilian wax first as it seemed the most painful. I'm not gonna lie, It was painful but only for that brief 2-3 seconds. I think the acne facial was more painful during extractions but was very soothing and relaxing. Overall they were both great experiences and I will definitely be pack. I have done several treatments at Organic Spa such as microdermabrasion, signature facial and back facial. I was always very very happy! My skin is oily and acne prone - finally I decided to try the Green Peel which Beata recommended for me a long time ago. During the treatment I felt warming sensation for just about 10 minutes, after the treatment my skin was little red and very sensitive . On the 3rd day it started to peel but I was able to hide it underneath the hat and cover with the products I received. It took 5 days and my skin had a complete makeover! Is now smooth, younger looking with less visual lines, reduced pores and I feel so refreshed afterwards. I needed to kill some time today while I waited for my car to be serviced. I yelped this place and saw that not only was it close but it had great reviews. Self scheduling on their website was fast, convenient and effective. I scheduled a mini facial and eye brow wax with Beata this for afternoon. The spa is in a shared office so when you approach the staff behind the desk, make sure you say that you have an appointment with the spa or else they will look at you with blank stares. Once it was clear that I was there for the spa, the girl behind the desk brought Beata out who was very nice. I felt comfortable and although it's in a shared doctor office, the spa room is very relaxing and quiet. The mini facial was great! Beata's massage was wonderful and the products felt and smelled really nice. My face literally beamed after my facial. I wish I could say the same for my brows. The eye brow wax was concerning and the reason for the 2 stars. I've been getting my eyebrows waxed for over 10 years so when Beata applied 2 layers of wax on my eyelid before stripping it off, I thought it was odd but figured she's the professional . She waxed my left eye lid 3 times. Usually under my brow, it's waxed once. After the 3rd wax, my eye lid started to burn but again I figured..new wax? Different technique? Give her a chance. She finished waxing and started getting things ready for my facial. My eyelid would not stop burning. I asked her to look at it to see what was going on and she said she didn't see anything but she would be careful of that area with my facial. When all was done I looked in the mirror and I had red lumps in the area that was burning. We both looked at it in the mirror and Beata said it was just sensitive skin. It's been almost 2 months since I last waxed so I thought, yea..maybe just sensitive. I paid and tipped her and hoped to see her again however my eyelid burned all day. I thought it would go away or the swelling would go down but it's literally 8 hours later and now I see what had happened, she ripped my skin off with the additional wax she applied. I have a little skin ripped off my right eyelid as well. Bummer because I really like the place, Beata was sweet and the facial was good but this was a first, my eyelid skin ripped off with what should have been a simple eyebrow wax.
