Let me start off by saying, I am obsessed with this place. My fiancé and I booked two 60-min U'ilani massages using their online booking system the night before, which was super quick and easy to use. The system wouldn't allow me to book two massages for the same time (understandable), so we each created an account and I called the spa to leave a voicemail requesting a couple's room if one was available. In the morning, someone from the spa called to let me know my request was received and we would be placed in the couple's room. You can call the spa directly to make a reservation as well, but we made our reservation after the spa was closed for the night. When we arrived, we were greeted at the front where we removed our shoes and were given a pair of spa slippers to use. Our shoes were placed in separate containers and the staff sanitized them with UV light while we were getting our treatments. We were then led to the locker rooms to change and lock up our personal belongings before meeting in the lounge to wait for our therapists. The locker room and the lounge were both beautiful and immaculate. The chairs in the lounge each had a small blue card on them requesting guests to place the card on a tray outside the room to indicate which chairs we sat on so that it may be sanitized with UV light after using it. Our massage therapists Yuki and Maraea were both fantastic and super professional. The U'ilani massage utilized aromatherapy, warm stones, and massage oil, which were all amazing. Throughout the treatment our therapists wore face masks, and during our treatment our masks were removed and sanitized in small UV light bags. I wasn't paying attention, but my fiancé said the head rest on the massage table had a filter underneath to protect us while we were lying face down and our face masks were removed. We also did the express hydrogel facial later that evening with Allie and Yuki. I had Allie and she was amazing. My skin looked so dewy and felt so hydrated post facial. My fiancé, who has never had a facial before, said he felt so relaxed after his treatment with Yuki. Highly recommended if you're looking for a nice little way to treat yourself! After the treatment was over, we went back to the lounge to enjoy some delicious iced hibiscus tea and matcha chocolate macadamia nuts. The steam room is also available for use either before or after your treatment. We both spent 20 mins in our respective steam rooms post treatment and it was the perfect way to end our experience. I honestly can't say enough good things about Spa U'ilani. The staff is welcoming and attentive, and will go above and beyond for their guests. The safety precautions and sanitizing procedures made me feel super comfortable throughout the entire experience (and as someone who has been extra cautious about COVID, that is saying a lot). And the treatments are so luxurious and relaxing, which is exactly what we needed. We will definitely be coming back! read more

I was very uncomfortable with the co-ed lounge waiting area. I felt claustrophobic and past traumatic ordeal flashbacks. My anxiety level went through the roof & did my best to stay calm before my massage. Everyone is in there dressed in their robes with strangers before and after their services. The sound of multiple people chatting loudly, crunching on their crunch snacks and clinking their hibiscus drink glasses wasn't very relaxing and enjoyable. Celebrated my birthday with a wonderful massage from Kiki. Unfortunately, it was during monthly siren testing and it was extremely difficult to relax. read more

New favorite spot (judged up against our 5 star resort spas on island AND the smaller no frills businesses with the amazing therapists) - immaculately clean, impeccable service, thoughtfully designed, great location, and truly a relaxing experience centered around wellness. I first want to comment on this spas health guidelines that I observed with my first recent facial here. Having a 5 month old at home during this unfortunate time has amplified my anxiety about going to public places so feeling my safety for myself and others around me was one of their top priorities was very important to me. From the moment I got there I had my temperature checked, to being reassured by staff personally and signs everywhere that they wipe down everything after each customer uses the facilities (they also had laminated signs that you would remove if you sat on a chair so they could sanitize it), and to even having my mask uv sterilized while having my facial done was an absolute relief! Now on to my actual experience. I was given a luxurious heavy but comforting bath robe to change into along with some slippers. I was shown to the ladies facilities where they had lockers, showers, bathrooms and a steam room! Which I would highly recommend going earlier to take advantage of those free amenities. I then had to make my way to the waiting room for my esthetician to come get me. This was hands down the best facial I have ever gotten. Johnna, my esthetician had the most comforting hands. She explained every product she was putting on me and made sure the whole time that the pressure she was applying satisfied my needs. I had gotten recommended by a friend to go to her and she exceeded my expectations! I definitely recommend going to her too! I finished up my facial with a delicious hibiscus/rose tea and an okoshi. Overall I had a wonderful experience at this spa and will definitely be coming back or even purchasing a few gift cards as presents for Christmas. I loved my facial by Amy- her massage techniques are top-notch, firms and tones your skin, I could immediately see and feel a visible difference! The jet-peel infuses you're skin with a stream of cooling liquids your skin absorbs, cleansing and adding hydration. I added the hydrogel mask that was amazing- highly recommend that as an add-on! The first time I went for a C-Esta facial I saw Kassidy and the service she gave was amazing. I live right next-door so I felt that it was convenient for me. A week later my card was automatically charged which I found really weird that the spa was auto charging clients after their visits. Awkward situation having to call and grumble about why my card is being charged in the first place but long story short the issue was resolved, the manager refunded me whatever directly withdrawn from my card. Since the service was great with esthetician, I decided to book another appointment one month later, but just pay cash instead to avoid issues again. Upon booking my appointment, the receptionist asks me for my card so they can put it on file and I explained to her that the reason why I do not want to give a card again is because I want to avoid what happened the last time, I didn't feel comfortable giving them my card number since the business had issues with their POS system and couldn't figure out why clients cards were being auto charged randomly . She gave me a hard time and wasn't trying to work with me so I decided not to book an appointment and not ever go back. Sad, because the esthetician was really good. read more

I booked a 60 min Swedish Massage, and my massage therapist was Maryann who did a phenomenal job. Maryann is very professional and friendly. 5 stars for the quality of the facility and the hospitality of the staff. But minus 1 star due to the lackluster massage and another 1 star taken down from the lack of knowledge in facial service. When I asked for extraction, I was told "there is nothing to extract" and that was the most alarming assumption I have ever heard when receiving facial treatment, because they could see my clogged pores here and there but still not acknowledging that. The facial massage was relaxing but tbh not worth the money. When I asked certain technical questions, I was given the same answers but just phrased differently (almost felt like she regurgitated what she read because she didn't have deep comprehension about it). Overall, from the quality of services and the depth of knowledge I observed from the ladies that helped me, they looked like they just came out of training of some kind. I won't return honestly, maybe I will - if they hire more senior and experienced therapists and beauticians. The receptionist and the person who does scheduling were friendly and professional. The ladies that helped me were also sweet, kind, and attentive. Loved the interior design and the artwork on the wall as well. Forgot to mention... all staff are wearing masks, and we need to wear them as well, except during treatment!!!!! 7. I did the JetPeel facial with a Hydrogel mask and it was AMAZING!!! Now, I've had a few facials in my time, but this was a totally new experience. Im not sure the name of the machine used, but all I can say is its like a magic wand. Lymphatic drainage, exfoliating and then it literally pushes the product directly into your skin. So you literally get every drop! 8. JOHANNA was my amazing aesthetician. She was so sweet and informative. She instantly made me feel relaxed and as if she really wanted to help me. She totally knows how to read skin and customized my experience to address the areas I was most concerned with. 9.
