Came and got a bite to eat. I got the Smoked Brisket sandwich. My sandwich was so good. The place was cleaned and pristine. The staff were kind and friendly and even walked over and gave us our food when we didn't hear them called us.

Disgusted - I have enjoyed Sourdough & Co at the Ygnacio Valley Rd and Oak Grove location many times. This location has been disappointing to say the least. I ordered my sandwich and clam chowder to go. After driving home I noticed my soup was missing. Rather than blowing it off I decided to drive back and get what I paid for even though it was extremely inconvenient. I was expecting some form of compensation, maybe a bag of chips or a cookie, something to make it right. I came to the counter and noticed my cup of soup sitting at their prep top - they forgot to put it in the bag. I let the individual know that I was missing my soup and it looks like the one sitting right there. She handed me the soup and said "sorry bout that." No bag, no cookie, no chips, nothing! As I drove back home I was so angry at the whole experience and said to myself, I will never go back to any of these establishments and figured that was that. Well, guess what - I get home, unwrap my sandwich and something looks off. I'm seeing a lot of lettuce and very little meat. I decide to deconstruct the sandwich and see what is going on. See pictures - WOW, 1 slice of fat filled ham and mangled turkey so thin you can see through it. No additional information needed - judge for yourself from the pics. I should have driven back for a refund but by this time I was just done.

No food since breakfast at 2:30 so it was time for a sandwich. I was torn between Honey Baked Ham and Sourdough & Co since it's new to me and in the former Capriotti's space. The place is clean and has an open feel. Easy to order although not very welcoming. My hope was for a hearty sandwich on a crispy sourdough roll. Not quite there. The bottom of the roll is soft with a bit of crunch on top. For a $12.95 6" sandwich, I expected it to be hearty. It wasn't anything remarkable. It was made and delivered quickly. No upsell for chips, cookies or a drink which is always a standard when selling IMO. I ate half and brought the other half home for the hubby. It was okay. Parking is available in the nearby parking garage or you can be lucky to find street parking as I did. Give it a try.

Sourdough & Co. is a hidden gem! Despite the negative reviews I decided to give this place a try and I'm so glad I did! The location is clean and the staff is friendly. There is plenty of parking around the area so that is not a problem. Now let me start by highlighting the quality of the ingredients. The bread is freshly baked and it is absolutely delicious! I've come here several times now and the quality and consistency never disappoint! I can order something and be out of there fast if I'm on a time crunch. Every sandwich we have ordered here has been delicious! I usually get a Turkey sandwich with the standard, jalapeños, pickles and pepperoncini. The sourdough bread it comes with is light, and fresh. My husband has tried to pastrami and he loved it. Every time I want a sandwich this is my go to place now!

No meat I guess they cut the meat portions to make up for their lack of clientele

They are sooo cheap at this location . I got the French dip large and I got 3 strips of meat only . It's all bread I don't understand this place . Go to Martinez way better .

It was my first time i tried sourdough & co special flat bread( bbq chicken). It was delicious and i had a great experience there.

Not my greatest photo of the crispy chicken sandwich.

So the rating of this S&Co. is not great, but honestly I've gotten takeaway twice and they've both been great. Bread is fantastic, which I would hope for given the eponymous product. I really don't think the S&Co. of today doesn't deserve the rating of the grand opening iteration.

Right off the bat I thought the restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. The employee who took our order was nice. I ordered a 6inch peppered turkey sandwich with a side of tomato soup. I thought the sandwiches were a little over priced. For both my boyfriend and I we spent a total of $52 on two sandwiches with a soup, no drink. However, the sandwiches were really tasty and the soup was perfect. Although it was over priced in my opinion for a sandwich that was pretty basic, and the small cup of soup was almost $6.... They do offer combo options which is the sandwich with drink and choice of soup or salad or chips, but even those are still overpriced since they charge extra for everything. If you want a bowl it's extra, avo, extra, etc. I would come back if I'm ever in the mood for a deli sandwich, but I'd make sure I have some room to spend first. They definitely are worth it, but beware of the high prices.

I have wanted to try this place for a while. $18 and change for a regular sandwich that was not worth it.

Annoyingly loud music and super expensive sandwiches. Service is never great. I come here because the sandwich options are not great.

We looked at the menu and ordered, and then we got some of banchan / veggie side dishes for our meal. We ordered the following - Japchae - noodles appetizer. Was a very decent size for an appetizer as well. The kids really enjoyed this. Tofu Stew - i usually get this spicy, but since my daughter didn't want spice, we got it not spicy at all. Tofu was soft and the beef was alright. This dish was on the more saltier side in our opinions, but wonder if the spice they would have added would have balanced out the saltiness. The side of rice helped cut the saltiness as well. Bimbimbap - love these stone bowl rice dishes! Was pretty standard and we added a fried egg on top as well. My son was a fan of this dish. I expected a bit more. Kalbijjim - the must dish to get here! We ordered the MINI one since we were sharing everything, and we didn't add on any toppings. The dish came and it was really big and amazing. However, either the person didn't hear me or ignored me, it turned out it was the regular size as we were charged $80+ for it instead of the $30 mini size one. It was really tasty - both the short ribs on the bones and not on the bone. There were radish, potato, and rice cakes mixed in there as well. If we knew we were getting a regular one, I would have liked some toppings such as corn or something... not too sure what happened there, but it was still really tasty. We had a bit leftover and were given a box with no lid. They would seal the box with the plastic wrap thingy. Would come back again.

The minced pork sauce clung onto them really really well. The minced pork had a nice balance of sweet and savory, although it leaned towards a little sweeter than I personally prefer. But it wasn't a problem at all, since I was able to adjust the flavor to make it more savory by using the Chicken Granules, Cumin, Chili Oil, and White Pepper condiments. Overall, it was a very satisfying dish! We also tried their new shaved ice dessert. It wasn't like the Hawaiian style shaved ice which is based on frozen water, but more like Korean style Bingsoo with a milky shaved ice base. The flavor and texture were both good, but I thought it was missing the toppings. It relied solely on syrup, and I think it would've been much better with fresh fruit or other toppings to add more flavor. It was $5.99 per order as of July 2026.

Got Pig Ears and Cold noodles take out at the end: very good. Not too salty. Service was quick, accurate and finely. Very clean, simple store. Not overly decorated. Parking was easy.
