Service, AMAZING Food, AMAZING I got the bánh mì pork sandwich and it was delicious!! SO much food and make sure you put both sauces on like they suggest! Chefs kiss! I will definitely be back to try some Phó!

WOW! I saw Souper Bowl when I was at the mall and decided to try something different. And I am extremely happy I did. This is a family run place. I ordered a shrimp rice bowl. I asked if they where spicy? Was told they aren't but they could add spicy to it. I was, please make it as hot as you can. The lady looked surprised and said okay. It took less than ten minutes and my food was ready. A younger woman brought my food up and wanted me to see if it was spicey enough. I took a bite of the shrimp. It wasn't spicey but wow was the taste extremely delicious! The woman told me it was her grandmothers recipe and that they don't usually service but for special occasions. The flavor was out of this world! I cannot put into words how much I loved it! I am extremely happy I stopped by and will definitely be visiting again!

The Pho is absolutely amazing. Two thumbs up. I didn't have to wait long and the service was very friendly.

Never have I've ever had pho at a mall food court. So Souper Bowl checked that off the list. However, I know my pho like the back of my hand and just a few days ago, I made my own. It's probably the one thing I ate the most in my life. I think Souper Bowl is not actually that bad for mall food court food. Don't expect something amazing but as long as your expectation is at normal level, you will be left getting the pho fix like I did. There are a few things that are different. All the garnishes are thrown on top already, that means if you usually don't eat pho with mint, bean sprouts, jalapeño.. well .. too bad. Take it out ASAP! The quantity and quality of the meat is not high. I had about 3-5 slices of 1 beef of variety. That means no brisket, no tendon, no chunk, no shin, just cooked flank. They also had 1 meatball. I would love to see more added to the Pho or at least have the cost lowered just a tad bit to match the quality. Otherwise, it's just as good as it sounds: mall food-court Pho.

Spicy ramen bowl

Based on the Yelp reviews I decided to stop in and give it a try. Spicy Beef Ramen was in the menu. The gal at the counter recommended it and said they only have it on the weekend and that it always sells out. Now I know why! For 'mall food' this was incredible. Got the smaller-sized bowl for $9 and it was more than enough. I love spicy food so I ordered it medium-spicy and that was enough for me. My only complaint is that the beef chunks were a bit large, but the meat was so tender you weren't really challenged to eat it. Broth was good and fresh. The baby bok Choi were cooked just right and brilliant bright green. I ordered two of the egg rolls with my lunch because I hadn't had breakfast. They wre a crispy note to the soup but didn't really add much flavor. I like this place and would go back.

This was the best pho in Eugene. Does anyone know if they just moved to another location?

I dislike when restaurants skimp on the fresh ingredients, but this was perfectly balanced. Bun Thit Nuong: The vermicelli bowl was tasty, though the noodles were a bit too al dente at first, so I mentioned it to the staff, and they promptly communicated with the chef to correct it. The pork belly was a highlight - very flavorful! Pho King Special: The broth was incredibly authentic and served piping hot - I was very impressed. The bone marrow and brisket were standouts, and I love that they offer it this way, as many places don't. It reminded me of how my family always served pho, and it's the only way I'll have it! A fun tip: try dipping the donut into the broth. My grandfather always did it, and it's a legit way to enjoy the meal.

But the market parking is always full, so parking is challenging here. First impressions weren't great in all aspects... there were 3 tables in total but we had to wait to order. Although we did get the complementary shrimp chips and water immediately. THE WATER TASTES FUNNY... like a hint of dishwashing liquid was still there, it was not just me, I asked the entire table and they agreed. It's a great space so definitely hip... but not without a cost... trendy location means higher burden for the business and higher prices. I didn't think I'd see a pho special priced at $24 yet in Oregon but here we are. Granted bone marrow is not cheap and it's a very unique rendition. The other problem is the volume of noodles... literally the cheapest part of the dish... there was very little for a $24 bowl. We asked for extra noodles and they obliged for $2. Also that bone marrow was DIVINE if you're into that... but yet again... it's "butter" so what do I eat it with? The tiny amount of noodles or the fried donut that has a lot of oil content as well... my answer is... MORE NOODLES! Oddly enough the bun xeo which usually is a lot of work to put together the omelette was a good value. Yet once again just the lettuce pieces. I'm comparing to pretty much every PDX joint... which gives more than 3 lettuce leaves... because honestly the omelette has enough protein to make at least 5. They need to rethink this. Certain herbs are harder to get and we're in Eugene, the palate is different but more than just mint would be nice. Flavor wise it was fine... and I enjoyed it albeit on the tame side. The Staff was very attentive on water refills and clearing dishes. A lot of potential... but some things are just off balance.

The veggie banh mi had a good amount of avocado and was flavorful and filling. The small spicy beef pho was pretty good. It came with a couple of fully cooked beef slices and the broth had some chili oil in it. I like my soup spicy, so I was happy to see that there was a self-serve sauce bar with extra chili sauce and chili oil. I wish they also had hoisin sauce, sriracha, and chili oil that looked fresher. For the toppings, they had cilantro instead of the Thai basil that I'm used to, but it tasted fine since I like cilantro. Some tables were a bit dirty, and it looked like they hiked up the prices of the dishes compared to the photos of the menu on Yelp. The combos were over $20. The service was fast. We received our food within 10 mins of ordering. Was filling, satisfied my pho craving, and served as a good pick-me-up before walking around the rest of downtown.

Kim's Asian Cuisine is close to me, and I wanted to try them out. I walked in, and was surprised how spacious the location is... there is a large section in front with almost literally nothing in it. There were a few people at the bar.... although I did not see anyone else eating. Did see some takeout orders being picked up. I was seated... and got a beverage quickly. Menu is a mix of different Asian cuisines... no real theme though. I was debating on the Vietnamese Shaking Beef, or the Honey Sweet and Sour Chicken. I decided to go with the chicken. It was good... portion size was adequate, and fried rice was tasty too. I would order it again. In speaking to the proprietor, he suggested the Shaking Beef next time... and I will do that. I asked about his chef/s and he said they were mostly Vietnamese. So I will definitely try the Viet dishes on the menu next time.

I went in expecting a quick bite and left wondering if I should cancel my flight and commit to a long-term relationship with their menu. The service was the kind that makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit: attentive without hovering, friendly without forcing it. You know, the sweet spot most places miss by a mile. The ambiance strikes that rare balance: polished enough to feel like you made a good decision, but relaxed enough that no one's judging you for aggressively enjoying your curry. Now, the portions. Let's just say I arrived hungry and quickly realized I had made a tactical error by also having a flight to catch. The plates are generous. Borderline ambitious. Under different circumstances I would've happily taken half of it home. And the price? Genuinely refreshing. You get high-quality food, generous portions, and excellent service without that subtle sting of regret when the bill arrives. It feels almost suspiciously reasonable. I walked in trying to kill time before a flight and walked out wondering if I should start scheduling layovers in Eugene on purpose.

We got seated right away at a booth with a window view. My waitress was an older Asian lady. She was very nice, not too talkative, but she was on top of her things. I was craving soup and decided on the highly recommended tom kha with tofu. To start, we had thai tea, thai coffee and the shrimp triangle. For our entrees, we decided on the pad see eu (they spell it pad se eu here), panang curry. The shrimp triangles were very yummy. Definitely get those. The thai tea and coffee was good, but just a little watered. I expected the taste to last in my mouth for a little bit. But it didn't. For the soup, I was excited to taste the soup! It smelled really good and it was boiling hot. My thought after my first sip of Tom Kha was, ok, this is good, they got it, but it just wasn't quite there. I couldn't pinpoint what was missing. Then I figured out that they didn't use full coconut milk. It was just a little bit and it was the lighter version. How disappointing! I wanted the robust tang, spice and coconut like how I have at home. The entrees made me sad. I really, really wanted to love it. The panang curry should be rich, thick and creamy. Instead it was soupy. I was really expecting and wanting the curry to stick to my rice, but instead it made soupy curry rice. My daughter pointed out that the curry and the tom kha soup was the same color and consistency. I didn't want to believe, but I think they used the same base and added the appropriate toppingss and seasonings to make a soup and a curry. My saddest dish was my last one that came out. It was the pad se eu. The wide rice noodles was wet and in broken pieces. I'm Asian and I'm from Vegas via Hawaii which means we have a lot of Asian cuisines, we know our food and have friends who work in high end Thai restaurants. (Think Lotus of Siam) When rice noodles break into smaller pieces, it means the noodles are probably not fresh and got hard. To soften, the cook used extra water and the heat was not high enough to cook, so it stuck to pan, making the cook mix it around more...broken wet noodles that doesn't brown. Overall, I really wanted to love this place. It has potential. Maybe it was an off day but on that day I went, it didn't give me the wow I expected. Most of the items has the taste on point. Please don't water down the curry or use lower fat coconut cream. I'm not used to having regular brocolli in thai food either, but I guess this is what Eugene likes or what we can get. And people, share your food! Thai food is family style! Share it! Put it in the middle of the table and let the other person have some! I was people watching around my table and my table was the only one that didn't have our own entree per person. lol
