We came to Sotta for a late lunch on the weekend and the restaurant was not too busy. There was almost no line to order (you place the order at the counter, get a number and they bring the order to your table). The wait for the food once the order was placed was relatively long in my opinion but nothing excessive. I was not too hungry so I just had a Lentil Soup which I didn't care for as it was too watery and plain. The lentil was also still too hard in my opinion. Would not reorder that item. For drinks, I got the cold Passionfruit Matcha which was pretty tasty. Forgot to take pictures of the food/drink, however. The restaurant is cute and clean. The chicken breast itself was moist and flavorful, but slightly more salty than desired (perhaps due to the brining?). Sauces were washed out from the moistness of the vegetables. Not sure if I'm correct but the pita bread tasted most storebought rather than made on-site. Babaganoush was too subtle in flavor for me, not a huge fan of the sumac. The sweet potato fries tasted average, was not crispy. The dessert averaged to about $5 each. There is a large variety so I tried a classic dessert and a Christmas themed dessert. The cheesecake is smooth, but tasted quite generic. The snowball tasted more like just yellow cake with coconut shaving, I did not taste the raspberry layer in between even though I can clearly see it. Being celiac having a menu that is clearly coded is my only option these days. They had plenty of gluten free options. We parked behind the building. There was limited space but we did find a spot. The service was great. Everyone was super nice and informative. We ended up eating outside. They had plenty of seating inside and outside. The food was really fresh and tasty. Great place in Burbank very close to the Griffith park with lovely ambiance. Had come with kids and had nice wraps - chicken shawarma wrap and salmon wrap - meat was stuffed with extremely fresh veggies . We felt plates would be have been more better as the wraps got little soggy so maybe for next time . Tomato soup was the best, my son loved it. You order at the register and sit where you please they also offer outdoor seating but it's so cute inside (even the bathrooms are cute) We ordered a lavender lemonade and an iced chai latte for our drinks and an arugula and caramalized onion salad with chicken and a bbq chicken wrap. Came by today for the first time, I ordered a falafel sandwich and my husband got the chicken kabob plate to go. I was in sort of a hurry so without really checking I asked the woman at the cash register what they had for gluten free items and she directed me to the falafel wrap which I did confirm with her a few times that it was gf, however when my 'to-go' order was up and I took it to the car and looked, I realized that it really wasn't gf. Luckily I'm not allergic to gluten, just sensitive and the fault lies on me for not making sure. It's walk up to order, then food is brought to your table. My meal of choice was the chicken shawarma. It is a sizable portion and I definitely had leftovers. I found my meal to be good and satisfying. The rice was dry and I needed to add sauces to it which I usually try to avoid. The matcha latte was a little more bitter than i'd like. I've been to SOTTA many times, and each time I get the plate. I've gotten chicken (white meat) and just tried their ground sirloin. I love the shirazi salad (cucumber and tomato salad). The pita bread is pretty good! I also tried their chocolate chip cookie which had yummy chocolate chunks in it. Service is always good. The space is beautiful. I am curious to try their coffee next time, as they use Canyon Coffee! I believe they use a medium roast, which I enjoy. read more

Sotta is a beautiful restaurant with SO many food and drink options. They have indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor is pretty limited. Parking on site is pretty limited and located in the back. We went pretty early in the day around 2:30, it was empty and you place your orders at the counter. They have an entire display of desserts and they all look really yummy, definitely planning on returning to try some. The service was friendly. The food was pricey for the serving size. We thought everything would be much heftier for the price. I paid $41 for two wraps, a fry and a drink. The sweet potato fries were the absolute best, they were missing a little salt but otherwise delicious. Lavender lemonade had a very strong lavender flavor, that I really loved. But was very muted as a lemonade, there wasn't any tartness. Wrap was nice but again, missing some flavor. They charge for a side of hummus but I think a spicy hummus would have been really nice. Through the magic of my handy dandy yelp app, I stumbled upon Sotta while looking for a place to have a satisfying lunch with Pop's. The place looks very nice and inviting, I like their chill comfortable yet chic vibe, one of their lovely staff told us we can sit anywhere that is available and so we did - a nice comfortable spot to enjoy our lunch. You order food by the cashier and you are given a number once the transaction is done - we both have their Boneless Chicken Kabob served with rice, pita and shirazi which I have to say was quite a lovely and satisfying meal! Service was actually quite expedient and the food presentation was delectable - Lovely Service, Appetizing white plate presentation, it's one of those weird things about me, I love attention to the little details aside from great flavors, they sure know how to entice me to give those twinkling yelp stars. The sweet potato fries were excellent with the ranch dressing. Also enjoyed the baba ghanoush. The garlic sauce that comes with it was delicious. My wife, daughter, and myself all agreed that the food was very tasty and fresh and that we would come back again. We also agreed that we would bring somebody with us. The food here is really scrumptious and they also have a huge selection of Dessert and a coffee bar and they have beer and wine available. There is indoor seating as well as patio seating out front and they have awnings to keep the sun off of you. The staff is very friendly and professional. The food here is so good that I drive here about three times a week., and it is very healthy. Last night a group of friends and I order dinner from there to be picked up. First thing we notice is they don't show there prices unless you show your credit card and pay $1.00. Then when we searched the Internet for the price, we found prices but everywhere we look they were different prices. Up to $4.00 differences on items. My order was the falafel wrap, I misunderstood because I thought it came with french fries but no, the french fries were in it and it said it came with tahini sauce, which I never got the guy even said I put extra tahini in the bag when we picked it up they're was none . The worst wrap I ever had, I didn't even finish half of it, $16. Wasted. 4 of the girls had to pay $4 more for there items then they thought. Plus the guy was not very nice when we picked it up.
