Have tried this on a couple occasions and have never been wowed. The food is well presented and portion sizes are decent, though when compared to the multitude of similar Mediterranean options in the area, there is much better value and flavor out there. I have only had it to go due to the pandemic and maybe the experience is better in person as the restaurant and patio decor is clean and new. I've tried both the chicken and beef and both were good quality, though the flavors didn't stand out. So last night me and my girlfriend decided to try this place last night. Upon arrival, we thought the vibe was nice. As we order at the counter, an hour before closing, there was a very rude man with black painted nails that seemed to be in a rush. Another customer had came in behind us, and I was asking my girlfriend about lamb chops, he rolled his eyes and said "Jesus "f******g Christ". Not sure if it was because we took a few extra moments looking over the menu or another customer. We both did not want to confront the employee, but do not recommend. Was in the neighborhood looking for a place to eat within walking distance from where I was having a meeting and to my surprise I came upon this place and decided to check it out. The establishment is very nice and clean. The business and staff are responsibly following all of the safety protocols . I ordered the chicken schwarma wrap and pasta side salad, it was seasoned perfectly and the portion was just right. The ingredients used looked and tasted fresh. They also have a wide selection of desserts and I couldn't pass up the chance to get something but trying to decide was a challenge because they all looked so delicious. The business is clean,responsible and provides its patrons with fresh ,delicious food at a great price. When I'm back in the area I will definitely stop back in. My family was in the area for a funeral and we came to Sotta on a whim. The parking wasn't that easy - there's street parking but we still had to walk a block because all the available spots were taken. We were so pleased with the food! I ordered the Falafel Veggie Plate w/ a side of tzatziki ($13.50) and it was delicious. It was such a generous portion and I couldn't even finish the entire plate of food. They were so busy with both online/phone orders and people constantly coming in, but we didn't have to wait long for our food. I appreciated how quickly they served our entire family! Their desserts looked SO good but I was way too full after my meal - I'll definitely go back to try them out next time. read more

But tonight we ordered delivery and got the chicken and steak kabobs and I LOVED it, I order from plenty Mediterranean restaurants and I have to say that the quality of their food is a notch above many of them. The rice isn't just flavorless, cheap rice, it's airy and flavorful. And the meat? Couldn't believe how tender and tasty. You could cut that chicken up with a fork, it was so moist and savory. I was introduced to SOTTA by a foodie co worker. Conveniently located and dangerously close to where I work in Burbank. I've dined here for lunch a couple of times and they do not disappoint. It is always recommended to come with a group on your first time so you can sample everything! And oh my....everything was on point. I loved my falafel plate but what won me over was the lentil soup. I could definitely use a bigger bowl, it was so delicious. It wasn't until my last visit I tried the salmon plate and I was a changed woman. I'm not particularly fond of salmon and it's so easy to cook it incorrectly. But after the first bite, it was definitely one of the best salmon I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender with none of the fishiness. I have not ventured out much but I have a feeling the salmon plate will be a repeat dish. The restaurant itself is spacious and can get pretty full during rush hour lunch. You order your food at the counter. The waiter gives you a number with your order. Did I mention they have a great selection of fresh made desserts out in the front???? I am totally recommending this place if you love Mediterranean and are in the area. This place doesn't look like much from the outside. Plus it's on a busy street. I recommend parking on the street. You should order first and they bring it. Finding a table was tough because the place was busy. But the food came out promptly. I had a salad with chicken - the BBQ salad. It was fresh, tasty and filling. My guests had the kebobs, which they said were excellent. The salad selection is gourmet and you choose your protein. A very clean place with prompt service. Their kabob plates are a great deal - they come with a generous portion of meat, pita, garlic sauce and rice or salad. I absolutely love that you can choose from dark or white meat! (Although I recommend that if you choose dark, ask for it to be a little well done.) Their bbq chicken wrap is also a delight - and you get to choose pita or whole wheat tortilla. For non-meat eaters, the falafel wrap is pure perfection. All of their sides are tasty, but hats off and major kudos to the marinated mushrooms... they're DIVINE! Don't forget to pick up dessert after your meal - you won't regret it! The berry cheesecake bar is incredible and their s'mores bar is a MUST for chocoholics. The brownie has a hint of black cherry, which was a pleasant surprise. Can't really go wrong with any of the sweets here! Where should I start, how this place has the reviews and ranking it does baffles me. First off what are you SOTTA? A coffee bar, an American dessert bar or a Mediterranean restaurant? We went thinking this would be a great Mediterranean food spot but we were disappointed. First off don't order their cocktails. There is like zero alcohol in them plus it took 20+ minutes to get our drinks when they weren't even busy. Cleanliness...floors were kinda gross with food scraps under most tables. Then the food, we got the chicken swarma wrap and the chicken gyro wrap. Pita bread was cold and not fresh. My wrap was super dry and fell apart. Hummus was so so and lacked flavor. Overall I think this place is trying to do too much and should focus on cleaning the table areas and improving their food. Your not a coffee shop too SOTTA. Lots of other Mediterranean spots in this area. Go there instead. read more
