Nashville Chicken Sliders with mashed potatoes
    Jacqueline A.

The food here was absolutely terrible. The servers are nice, but I certainly will not be returning due to poor execution of temperature by the kitchen and everything coming out horrid in taste. I have never eaten somewhere and been offered a substitute for everything that came out. The deviled eggs have crushed potato chips on top with a balsamic drizzle and the flavor once you bite down was a salty, wet mess lol. I bit into my burger and realized it was partially rare when I asked for medium. Ahi tuna tacos - extremely salty with sauce that didn't pair well on top. The macaroni and cheese was the only thing OK. This is a place you come to for drinks.. drinks only. Good luck.

Meh. Overpriced. I've been wanting to try Southern Provisions for a while and it was just kind of meh. The service was really good. Our server was attentive and pleasant. My friend and I shared a Caesar salad which was decent but nothing to write home about. She had the Mac and cheese with brisket and I did the pick two with brisket, pork belly and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was very basic - it honestly tasted like boxed Mac and cheese. The brisket was very bland but was okay with the provided bbq sauce. I did like the pork belly. It had an interesting flavor profile. I don't think we'll be coming back to Southern Provisions, at least not for the food.

Really nice space they have a large inside space with plenty of TVs. they also have a large tent coveted outdoor space. The bar tender that served us was very friendly and poured a very good drink. Can't say that about all bar/restaurants in Canton Square. Definitely will be back

I came here for happy hour on a rainy Friday night. The drink prices were great. I didn't order food but I've heard great things before. Also, the service was good, I think if you are cheap drinks and a calmer happy hour this place is good. It might have been because of the rain but the restaurant was pretty empty.

This brunch is so good! They updated their menu and it's a really great upgrade. Highly recommend the Nashville chicken waffle sandwich. They also serve giant mimosas that are very delicious and refreshing. Really nice summer vibes when they can open up the garage door front. Been back multiple times for this brunch

Picked up takeout on a semi warm winter day and it was super easy! Ordered online and food was brought to the side door. They didn't give us napkins or anything in the bag so had to go back for that which wasn't an issue but would have been nice to have have been included. I got the southern burger which was cooked perfectly medium and so flavorful! The fries were crispy just like I like them so no complaints about the food at all! With a going on I honestly prefer when I can order online and pickup opposed to calling in an order but maybe that's the millennial in me

Yelp Fam!!!! I'm back with another review of a Canton favorite. As a whiskey Fan, Enthusiast & consumer SP provides many varieties of whiskey to try. I took advantage of that and had a Manhattan! Our server was very helpful and nice. The whole staff checked on us several times during the happy hour to make sure we were good. We ordered Manhattan- tasty Beers Wine Brisket French dip - was a generous portion of brisket it will need some of the delicious BBQ sauce they have to take it to the next level Fries- hot and crispy Overall this experience & the whiskey selection will definitely have me sitting in the bar again for happy hour!!!!

This was my first visit here. I ordered my burger over the phone since the kitchen closes at 11pm and it was 10:45, I asked for no cheese and to add carmelized onions & tomato. When I picked up my food I checked it at the bar counter, there was no tomato or carmelized onions. The kitchen staff was already gone when I got there a little after 11 so I couldn't get any carmelized onions but I was given the tomatoes on the side to add. I'm going to come back for dine in and I'll update my review after that experience. I do have a suggestion to add, dill pickles for the burgers/sandwiches should be an option. Not everyone likes bread & butter pickles, having dill as an option as well would be lovely.

A great place to go to for happy hour. They have a great variety of drink and food specials Monday thru Friday until 7pm. I can't remember what time the happy hour starts but I think it's at 4pm. I had a Kona draft beer which was 4$ on the Happy hour menu and got their Mac n cheese egg rolls for 7$. The Mac n cheese egg rolls were really good, and the sauce given for dipping had a little kick to it. We came on a rainy Friday night and it was pretty empty though, so I don't recommend coming here then if you're looking for a place with a lot of people and a good vibe. Will definitely be back again to enjoy the happy hour, and is a great spot to start off your night at.

Pimento Mac and Cheese Spring Rolls

MAC-N-CHEESE Spring Roll is a MUST TRY. Literally, absolutely AMAZING. Honestly, the greatest way to combine two comfort foods. My last day in Baltimore- some colleagues and I met here for our last friend lunch. We order the Mac-n-Cheese spring rolls for our starter. Let's just say we were all beyond impressed! So, hot and fresh and crunchy and cheeses and just damn good! The dipping sauce was so good. For my meal I ordered the BLT and potato salad. The BLT was not a normal BLT. It was loaded with bacon cooked in some sweet, savory, and spicy glaze. The tomato was a deep fried green tomato. The entire sandwich was PERFECT. I finished every bite. The potato salad...... yeah. Um. Never again - the only reason I cannot give all five stars. Overall, I truly enjoyed my experience. I strongly recommend!

If you're looking for a private space to rent for an event, I highly recommend Southern Provisions. I had trouble finding a space around the city to host about 40-50 people for my friend's 30th birthday party. From unanswered emails, pricy minimums, unavailability, the process became quite frustrating. Jodie, the GM, answered my request right away and was very responsive throughout the party planning. I stopped by one random night to scope out the upstairs event space and without hesitation the manager, Andrew (aka Tomato), kindly showed me around. The space is full of fun, colorful decorations and lights, has its own bathroom, multiple TVs, a projector screen, and private bar. I even had the option of connecting to their sound system and playing music for the night. It was $200 to reserve the space from 7-10pm which went towards our minimum. The night of the party, we were allowed to arrive at 6pm to set up. The bartenders, Chelsea and Stephen, and the manager, George, were there to greet us. They were extremely helpful and took the time to hang decorations and help rearrange chairs and tables. We opted for the buffet style option for food and had a cash bar. All of the food was delicious and gone by the end of the party. We danced, sang, and cried (when the Ravens lost to the Titans). Nonetheless, it was a wonderful party. Thank you Southern Provisions for your hospitality and great service. The party was a hit.

Cool little bar. The food was better than I expected. I had the Deviled eggs and Chicken sliders, my friend had the wings. It was ladies night so they had half off drinks and also a DJ. Our bartender, Steve was cool too

Cozy bar, best place in canton square to go. Live music at Tuesday , the music is good but very LOUD! Sat and Friday they open upstairs as well Great place to hang out and party and have a good time. Kitty is an amazing bartender. She makes best old fashion drink. Give it a try. Local place to try for food and drink .

For food, I started with the crudo, which was super fresh and beautifully done -- light, bright, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. She left us with no attempt at an apology and promptly put reserved signs on all the open tables. When we left an hour later, one booth and 4 two-tops had never been used. Much to our dismay, we saw people seated outside even though we had received a text before arriving saying the patio was closed for the evening. To add insult to injury, even half empty, the noise level was so uncomfortable since everything was tile, marble, or wood that the alarm sensor on my smart watch sounded because of the decibel level. Knowing a spring Friday evening would likely be busy, we wisely made reservations in advance. Upon arrival, the restaurant was buzzing with energy, yet we were seated promptly at a window-side table offering a beautiful view of the harbor and the fading colors of sunset. Service throughout the evening was polished, courteous, and knowledgeable. Our server, KJ, walked us through the menu with concise yet thoughtful descriptions of several dishes and their flavor profiles, while also offering cocktail and entrée recommendations. We followed several of his suggestions and were glad we did. I chose the Bygone Daisy while my companion ordered the Back Alley Blues. Both cocktails were beautifully presented, balanced, and genuinely delicious -- so much so that we each ordered a second round, which is somewhat rare for us. To begin, we shared a dozen oysters and a Caesar salad before moving on to Dover sole for my friend and the filet for myself, along with an order of mac and cheese for the table. The oysters themselves were excellent: chilled, fresh, and flavorful. However, the accompanying sauces didn't quite rise to the same level. The cocktail sauce lacked the horseradish punch we prefer, the mignonette leaned a bit too heavily into vinegar, and the hot sauce, while decent, felt somewhat ordinary by comparison. Still, the quality of the oysters carried the dish overall. The Caesar salad was perhaps the evening's weakest note -- a rather modest portion of roughly chopped romaine hearts with decent dressing and cheese, though the anchovies were particularly good and appreciated by my dining companion. KJ paced the meal exceptionally well, checking in thoughtfully without ever hovering, and we were also greeted by a manager who seemed genuinely invested in ensuring guests enjoyed their experience. Our entrées arrived just as the sunset painted the harbor in vivid evening color, which certainly elevated the moment. My filet was tender and enjoyable, though slightly below my preferred medium-rare temperature. The Dover sole, which I sampled for the first time, was excellent -- delicately crisp on the exterior with a rich buttery lemon sauce that complemented the fish beautifully. The mac and cheese was flavorful, though just a touch dry; a creamier finish would have made it more memorable. We ended the evening with the Peanut Butter Bar, crème brûlée, and an espresso martini. The desserts ranged from pleasant to good rather than exceptional, though the ice cream accompanying the Peanut Butter Bar was easily the standout bite of the trio. Overall, The Bygone delivers exceptional service, expertly crafted cocktails, and one of the best dining views in the city. The food itself ranged from good to occasionally very good, though not always at the level its premium pricing suggests. Certainly worth experiencing at least once for the atmosphere and hospitality alone, even if it may not become an immediate repeat destination given the many outstanding dining options in the area.
