Outdoor setting is awesome, and staff were friendly, but I find it very frustrating when the menu on a website doesn't at all match what is offered on site. I made plans to come her with friends after seeing they had an appealing happy hour with options that appealed to all the different tastes in our group. Upon arrival the options were very different. Since none of us wanted light beer, seltzer, or rail liquor we moved on. I know restaurants are impacted by inflation, and I get it that menus change, but I had been hoping to find a place to get a good beer or a cocktail for happy hr.

I was looking for somewhere to go for happy hour. Most of the Happy hours in the area are over by 6 PM and I have already missed that this place has happy hour until seven. It was a slow day so there weren't many people in there, but I didn't mind that. There were two bartenders who were super friendly and on top of things. The place was clean, and I really liked that. There were multiple TVs playing different games. I was happily surprised by their beer selection to see that one of my faves was on the list. I felt like trying something new so I had the horseradish wings. Surprisingly they were actually really good. I just asked for a side of sauce because there wasn't much on the wings. The sauce was a creamy, sweet horseradish, which was very good. I also got some cheese curls. I think they are called. They had bacon, ranch cheese, and some type of queso cheese With green onions. Very good and fresh. I like my french fries and things to be on the crispy side and they were cooked to perfection. Definitely will come back to watch a football game or baseball game and take advantage of their other specials.

I've only been to the white marsh location so figured I'd check the OG location out. It was happy hour when we arrived so we took advantage of $5 apps and ordered the soft pretzel and mozzarella sticks. The mozz sticks were nothing special but the soft pretzel and dip it came with was really good. It reminded me of the queso they had on the old menu. For entrees, we ordered the OG burger and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The Nashville hot was not playing around, it was hotttt. The OG burger was good and the bun was toasted making it v yummy. Our server was attentive and very nice. I'm a lil bitter that they removed the brisket from the menu but still enjoyed the visit!

I didn't care for the food or beverage, but the atmosphere and service was fine. I stopped in for appetizers with my sister and little brother. He likes the place, so I assumed it would be good. He said they had the best crushes in the city, so we had to get one. I ordered the grapefruit crush, which i didn't care like. I also had the soft pretzel, which had NO flavor whatsoever. None of liked it, so most of it went uneaten. We didn't care for the dipping sauces either. We also shared the fries that were decent. It's hard to mess up french fries, though. My brother liked his drink (he had alcohol), but he likes anything alcoholic. He's also worked as a bartender, so he appreciates a well-made drink. My sister also liked her drink. As I said, the service was good. I don't recall her name, but the bartender was awesome. She was fun and very personable. The vibes were good as well. I'd go back for that reason alone. Overall, though, I wasn't impressed.

Wings, brisket Mac and cheese, impossible burger.

I was looking for a chill place to have dinner with my husband for his birthday and Wayward was beyond what we expected. We definitely came hungry and I was super excited that it wasn't too cold outside because their outside seating area is a must. We ended up sitting outside enjoying our food which consisted of brisket mac (to die for! an absolute must try!); wings with house wing sauce; fries; and the impossible burger. For drinks, we ordered from their Happy Hour menu - I got a glass of Pinot Grigio and a glass of Rose, while my husband ordered 2 rounds of the Sweet Heat mule (I tried it and it was ok ONLY because i'm not a fan of spicy stuff and this definitely has a kick to it, but other than that it was good). All in all - Food: brisket mac is an A++++++; wings were yummy, you could definitely tell they were smoked and grilled as the flavor was in each bite - I would like to try the old bay next time (yes, we will be back!); fries were bomb.com - they're shoestring, crispy, and delicious!; and my husband finished his impossible burger! Our server (as well as the other employees) were great! The attention the employees give to their customers is greatly appreciated. Oh, and their women's restroom was immaculate - thank you!!

Wayward just opened a brand new outdoor patio and it definitely takes this Federal Hill bar status to the top level! The new patio provides such a great outdoor option in Federal Hill. The patio is two levels, has plenty of seating and offers space for outdoor games like corn hole and even live music. Wayward has a really great crush menu and I definitely recommend trying some (or all ) The food is definitely your solid normal bar fare! Especially with this new outdoor space, would totally rec this spot!

    Country Plate and rosé

I visited this venue for a Night Brunch, so I'm not going to factor service into my review. It was packed to the gills in there and they were likely understaffed. However, I felt I received reasonable service given the amount of people that needed tending. That said, the rosé I ordered was delicious (I had 3!). For food, I decided to go with the Country Plate, which consisted of a biscuit, meat of my choosing, 2 eggs, and "smashbrowns". I chose the brisket and asked for eggs fried hard. The brisket was official, I ate every little piece. The biscuit looked really good, homemade, but was dry and I ended up only eating half. The eggs were runny, I didn't touch them. And "smashbrowns" are curly fries - I was pretty disappointed they weren't breakfast potatoes (which go along with eggs and biscuits, I'd think). The fries were tasty though and made up for me not eating the biscuit and eggs. I'd try Wayward again, if only for the brisket.

One of my go to bars for when I go out in Fed on a weekend night. It's also a good spot to go to on Thursday nights for their "flip night" where you can win drinks for a penny. I came on Friday night for some happy hour drinks to start off the night. They offer happy hour drink deals Tuesday thru Friday from 4pm -7pm, with other specials throughout the week. They have a full dinner menu here, but I haven't tried much of it yet, other than the mozzarella sticks that were good. They have an inside area with lots of TVs, high tops, and plenty of bar seating and an additional outside back patio area. Great spot to come for a night out or to watch the games with friends. Late at night on the weekends they usually have a DJ and an area inside where people can dance. I would have given this place 5 stars, but when I came in the weekend prior the bathroom stalls in the women's bathroom had fallen over while inside. When I let the bartender know it seemed like they had already known that this was happening. Hopefully they get it fixed so that this won't happen again.

The platter #4 brisket, wings, 3 sides, ribs!!! Enough for four people with leftovers!

This is a great, downhome Smokehouse. The staff, especially Kelly (our bartender) was very warm, friendly, and accommodating. Kelly researched ingredients to ensure nothing she served had my food allergies. Unfortunately, I couldn't try their signature moonshine because it's made of corn, but they have some seemingly delicious cocktails using it. The food was nicely flavored; however, the brisket and ribs were a little dry the serving sizes are massive, so you may want to bring a date or a couple friends to help out! Overall, I enjoyed it and if you're looking for friendly staff and a great value, you will too!

Great experience. Came on a weekday for lunch. Quick prompt service the waiter Brandon was on his first day and I wouldn't have known unless he mentioned it. Nice atmosphere quick service. We would have liked the food to much hotter. Good amt of food options on the menu to choose from. Seems to be a good wknd spot

Very nice setup! It was my first time at this establishment and I came for a Yelp event! Very nice space! Very open. The event was packed so there weren't many places to sit but it was definitely a great location and I would return! We found awesome, FREE street parking which is always a plus but there is also the West St Garage which isn't far at all. We didn't have much interaction with the servers but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I also saw a server wall by with someone's burger and fries and my mouthed watered a little bit! It looked very delicious! Would be open to returning in the future and being able to sit down and actually order some food. The hot toddies were good and got better as you continued drinking them. Mine was with Rum and my hubby's, Whiskey. Thanks for being the host of a great event that brought together fellow Yelpers while helping the homeless!

Somehow never came here though been to the neighboring bar. They have plenty of outdoor seating and due to large open window can do edge seating. They also are allowing inside seating. Due to that figure they likely able to serve as many people as when only had indoor seating. They are a mix of Korean and southern bbq with Texmex dishes. With that much muddle usually food not good and that is case here. Chopped brisket more cut up and seems to be done to hide how fatty meat is. Pork belly okay and interesting taste from smoked Salad and smoked guac. Service was not good as took awhile to get things. Bill delivered was wrong as thing there system has inside and outside tables with same numbers. Inside bar looks nice. If things have improved likeky good to watch game if okay with brunch for first half.

It's there and cooked without oil immersion or the awful trap of terrible portioning. Here, the nutrients shine. And that is healthy. Price: Decent. Very Decent. Everything I bought there was roughly over 45 dollars (before the tipping) and keep in mind, the condiments and sauces were complimentary. For this quality and quantity? I definitely got my money's worth. Experience: Wonderful server. Even in a busy dinner cycle, she came over and literally started to hand me a menu almost right as I sat down. Even gave me a great recommendation for the Enchilada platter and brought the holster of extras over to the table as well. The food was delivered quickly, and the small details (utensils, cleanliness, chair organization etc.) were great. Taste: Honestly this place is a standout for seasoning. It's flavorful, unique, and skewed towards spices over oil. Tasteful impact, without the baggage. A gem. Even among so many other restaurants serving this cuisine in the area I've tried, this is a standout. I'll come eat here again. You should too. It's right next to Patterson park with so many parking spaces nearby. I'm gonna run here. Soon.
